Grounds While the Academy itself is located on a military base, its immediate surrounding is set up to emulate a traditional campus. Long halls between buildings, lawns, benches, and other areas to wander between classes.
Lecture Hall Several lecture halls intended for the academic portion of the Academy curriculum. In addition to the usual classes, there are often guest speakers from various posts within ZAFT sharing their knowledge in front of packed audiences.

Cafeteria An extremely large banquet hall open twenty-four hours. The spacious area often doubles as a study hall for multitasking cadets through all hours of the day.
Dormitories and Common Two cadets to a room, with a shared bath connecting room pairs. Most cadets live on campus, alternative living arrangements are available if your family lives in Icarus City. The common room and lounge are available for general use by the student body, often encompassing the role of study and recreational areas.

Main Plaza With the city slowly becoming an attractive option for the ZAFT's civilian population, Icarus City's growth can be seen most prominently in the flourishing it's main plaza. A large park sits in the center of a commercial district with plenty of shops and restaurants lining the streets.
Residential Many of the houses are converted military housing. However, there are a number of new development sites springing up as investors begin to realize the potential value. Soon enough family homes will outnumber apartments.
