It was dinner time on the seraph and crew where filtering in and out of the dining hall some having just ate and where leaving or milling about and talking to friends while others are coming in to eat. Axel Trevors had just finished his shift and was now getting a bite to eat he took his place in line he grabbed a tray, today was spaghetti day apparently a slightly cheerful looking albino girl ladled up some spaghetti and put it on his tray. “sauce” she asked. “sure.” Axel replied in a monotone voice. She ladled some sauce over the spaghetti and with that he walked off to find a spot to be by himself, he managed to find a spot but it was the only open table left.

Satou walked over to Sam who had been helping serve dinner for part of the shift. “who was that?” she asked. “someone who has had more than his share.” Replied Satou. “ok time for you to get something to eat.” Sam walked to end of the line and took a tray.

Jojo entered the dining hall with her green hair in its unusual style of native american feathers and bead work as she would walk over to the tray line. She easily grabbed a single tray and smiled as she would look at Samantha. "Hey there, been awhile. How have you been?" She asked with a caring look. It was never faked as she asked with such a simple response. It was quite the good joy about her as she would smile while being in the line work. While waiting on a reply Jojo would look about the room seeing the crowded tables as she would look over at one guy in particular, already she scoped her seat there as the line up would move. Upon getting her food she'd choose to sit over there across from the lone man.

“Nice to see you to jojo.” Sam got her food and followed jojo to the table where a rather grim looking man sat he didn’t look up when they sat down. After eating in silence for awhile which drove Sam nuts she looked at the grim looking man. “My name is Sam and this is jojo.”

Axel looked up from his meal, over the years Axel has become less of a people person and more of a solitary person but rather then telling the girl to leave him alone he choose to humor her. “I’m Axel but some people call me Mr. Death on account of the people I serve with tend to die while I am the only survivor. Also I’m not much of a people person.” Axel said in his usual monotone way.

Jojo would do her usual thing when meeting new people and she wondered is Sam knew anything about what she normally did. She would go through personality profiles and manage through records all the while checking onto their service record reports. Indeed this man has gone through hell while she only smiled. It was a smile that creep-ed natural people out while her eyes went up to him. "Quite the record you have Mr. Death. I'm please to know so many different souls are servicing the Seraph." She only smiled noting that she just broke three hacker laws right there when it came to personal files. "So what reason were you transferred to the Seraph, you as well Sam. I don't remember seeing your name on the roster when I signed on."

Axel closed his eyes. “Jojo Kaguya aka the vineyard, age 17 born august 17th, a little known hacker who graduated from the academy two years early.” He opened his eyes again. “I’m not only ainfantryman but i'm also a security officer on the ship so I made it my intent to know people’s backgrounds, ecpesally people with interesting backgrounds.” He then looked at Sam. “I’m sure we won’t have any problems like the ones in your record.” Sam shook her head; she was almost scared by the man sitting in front of her. “what’s up with everyone having cool nick names but me.” Sam pouted.

Jojo was impressed with his knowledge, only one problem with it. She was born the eleventh of august, not the seventeenth. For that though she would correct him. "You seem to have a great knowledge of some background facts. The higher ups must like you fairly well unless you pulled some strings. In any case you are wrong on the account of my date of birth. I was born August 11th." She only smiled upon saying such as she would then look over at Sam already seeing in her face the semi-fear build up. Jojo wasn't an ounce scared, rather she was interested in him seeing as how she would only smile and look at him. But then Sam complained about a nickname. "Samantha, we can always start calling you Knuckles seeing as how your punches still hurt after two years." Jojo would joke lightly as she remembered the sparring match the two had.

Axels’ facial expression didn’t change it stayed its blank state that it did since he started talking to them, he wasn’t surprised that it was wrong some people faked things whether it be to get into the military at a early age or to hide something.

Sam looked at Jojo. “your hits still hurt to, and no I don’t want to be named after a character from a game.” She smiled after she said it.

Jojo didn't even realize she had said something similar to a video game until she was told about it. Of course she would then recognize the blank stare from the man, "Sir, I would probably make sure your contacts aren't feeding you any information because if they can not get a birthday right then they might have construed the entire log of background for every member aboard this ship." It was calm reply as she would then smile and eat and after a few bites she would look at Sam, "How about Fury? Greek demons with a mean temper." She smiled at her pun though.

“You bring up a good point, but people do fake things on their records like their age to make them older then they are so they can join the military, and yes while I get stuff from command we aren’t exactly on best terms they didn’t like my transferring to a “easy” job.” Axel took a mouthful of spaghetti and chewed on it he swallowed it when he was finished with it. Axel guessed she was lying because it usually came with the territory and he saw her glance at her PDA.

“nah if I get a nick name it will be one I earn.” A meatball hit Sam on the side of her head and turned to see where it came from, she saw Satou sit down with a group of other people who where laughing about something he turned his head and smiled at her. “Quit talking so much and eat your food before it gets cold.” He shouted. Sam stuck her tongue out at him.

Jojo giggled at the display as she would merely shake her head. She would also take in what he said while noting that if she were born the seventeenth then she'd be six days younger than what she was. That wouldn't have helped either way but no matter. She would shrug and then look over at Satou. "Sam, don't be provoked. But truly you have to eat some time." She giggled some more as she would take some fork fulls of the food as she looked at Axel while pocketing her PDA, "Certainly you have a point. Might I ask what 'easy' job you went for?" She would be curious and if it were a higher command slot of the ship she'd be quite interested in it.

“I would rather not talk about it, but feel free to put your skills to the test I recommend hacking the files with lots of black ink covering them.” A look of what appeared to be anger flashed across Axels’ face but for only a second but it wasn’t directed at her. If she did look it up she would read about his various mission with a good few of them ending with the loss of his entire squad and him standing as the lone survivor being praised for another successful, and she was observant she would note his abrupt transfer to a infantry platoon that was pulled off the frontlines to guard the lake Victoria mass driver soon after his transfer and if she was truly smart enough she would get his reasons for transferring well most of them.
Sam piped down and ate her dinner.

Rai walked up to the group slowly. She recognized Sam and Jo, but the other two were a mystery to her. Sitting down at the table, she waved lightly towards Sam. At Jo, she just blushed, and nodded, turning to her plate of food. She had kept it light, sticking mostly with two turkey sandwiches. "What's the skinny?" she asked.

Jojo looked up at the sound of Rai's voice with blush lining her face as she went into her food. Normally she who had all the answers most times and she merely remained silent. Her eyes glazed to stare into her food as she would eat at it. Her body extensively kept to itself as she would eat and she was already zoning out from everything around her as she would eat. She didn't per-say regret what happened but she did know it may have been wrong of her as she would keep her mind at a steady pace and eat.

Axel continued to eat his food in silence, even when the new comer showed up he continued to eat his food.
Sam waved back at Rai and caught the blush as she looked at Jojo and Sam grinned suggestively at the two. She wanted to tease Rai and Jojo but Axel and his mysterious history interested her a bit more and she had her ways of getting what she wanted. “Excuse me.” Sam said as she got up from the table and went to the kitchen from there she made her way to the “office” which was actually a small store room that Satou converted to office to help keep records of things. After a bit of digging around she found what she was looking for Satou’s own PDA, now Satou’s PDA was different then jojo’s because it had a hack program on it which did all the work for him, she made her way back to the table and then started her task of looking up his service record and hid the PDA on her as best as she could before coming into view of the table and sitting down.

Rai found the silence stifling. Watching as Sam retreated, she glanced back to Jo, only to blush and return to her food. The other person at the table, Rai didn't recognize. I don't believe we have met..." Rai started, extending her hand. "Rai Watanabe... and you are?"

Jojo caught a look at what Sam brought back and made a very kind giggle as she finished her food. She would think to herself, "Another person trying to be a hacker." She merely knew that such feats were impossible to overcome while there were always those who tried to exceed at this. She would hear Rai's voice and her giggle indeed cut short as she would go back to her food.

“I’m Axel Trevors AKA Mr. Death on account that I was able to survive where my squad mates died.” This time when he introduced himself he said it rather coldly. “He is not a people person.” Said Sam as she sat back down. “’me a hacker never, besides its not mine.” She said in response to Jojo’s smileing. After a few minutes of eating in silence Sam pulled out the PDA and checked on the progress and was surprised to see it was done, and eagerly started reading through the files. As she was reading the files her expression changed from eagerness to something like sadness and border line guilt she quickly hid her feelings but its was still obvious that she was no longer eager to read his service record and there where things in there that she doubt Jojo could get even if she hacked the entire ZAFT military database. Axel looked at her like he didn’t care what she was feeling and then left the table. Axel stopped by serving line and looked at Satou. “It wasn’t good giving all that information to that little girl.” He said. Satou shrugged. “Whatever do you mean by that?” And with that Axel walked out of the dining hall. Sam pocketed the PDA and looked at Jojo and Rai. “So did something fun happen between you to since we last met?” She said teasingly with a suggestive grin, she was trying make it look like everything was fine and to avoid any questions that would be directed to what she just read.

Of course, Sam had to start up like it was funny. Rai clenched her fists, and feeling the weight of the Bowie knife lashed to her belt, seriously considered reaching across the table to adjust the girl's face. This wasn't something to laugh at, or even take lightly. She didn't know what to do about it, and to have Sam joke about it just infuriated her.

Turning a bright red, Rai clamped her hands down on the edge of the table, restraining herself from standing. "I don't want to talk about it!" Rai snapped, the knife hilt clearly visible just below the edge of the table.

As if on cue to defuse the situation, a brown-haired young man in a neatly pressed green officer's uniform approached cautiously. Rai had recognized him before, but wondered where the briefcase he was carrying had been placed. Newly draped around his neck, a red anodized aluminum key sunk underneath his collar on a simple metal necklace.

"This... table open?" he asked, as if responding to the threat.

Jojo would instantly,upon impulse look at Rai, "Rai, calm. No one is forcing you." That was when the new guy came and Jojo would say, "certainly." She wanted this to not be a blood bath as she knew all too well about that booey knife as she would look at Rai with calculated eyes, almost differently yet as a mother or a mentor by the look of them as she had done her duty to attempt to calm Ray down. "And Sam, don't try to make to much teasing about something you don't know about or your mech may find its way somewhere else." She would say knowing about the past shipment record dealings.

A fork versus a bowie knife, Sam liked her odds even though she was the one with the fork. A strange man approached the table and asked to sit down. When jojo made the remark about reassigning her mobile suit Sam turned to the girl with an un-amused expression on her face. “Try it.” One could say Sam was attached to her mobile suit almost to the point where she was obsessive about it. “Who let that bum on the ship?” Sam turned around to see who made the comment and saw Jacob carter and Kelly Chambers walk into the dining hall, Sam knew both of them from her time at the academy well her two final years that is. “Someone get me a gun so I can shoot this guy.” Jacob and Kelly walked over to the table. “Can we sit here?” Sam gestured to the seats that where open, and they sat down next to Sam. “I am Jacob carter helmsmen of the ship and this is Kelly Chambers aka radio the ships comms operator.” “h-hello” Kelly said shyly.

Kite rubbed the back oh his head as he walked into the mess. He opened one of his now closed eyes, something pulling his little serene moment away with commotion. He grumbled slightly before looking at the gathering of ZAFT personnel at a table.

He offered a slight tilt of his head, pulling his heads out of his pockets as he made his way past them to grab a tray of grub. At least that was the only way he could describe the food. It was like tofu sometimes...only worse. And most of the time it was a surprise. You could be looking at chicken, and it would taste like fish for some reason.

No no, he had to be positive, this wasn't a Lurasia after all. This being such a "special" ship, maybe they had good food? Opting to keep his hopes up Kite grabbed a tray, checking the contents and finding himself oddly satisfied. "Well I’ll be damned."

Rai just sat there, glaring for a moment, before turning back to her food. Sam seemed okay most of the time, but really, Rai was not in the mood for any teasing, especially about Jo. "Leave me alone," she grumbled.

Stuart took a seat beside Sam, looking up at the growing crowd, and the annoying remarks aimed back and forth. As the tension seemingly eased, Jason sighed, rolling his eyes. PIlots were always a funny bunch, especially how they discriminated against non-pilots."So, what's new?" Stuart asked.

Most times Jojo could stand being around Sam because she has known her since two years ago. However when such things like this were just out of hand she would shake her head and stand upon seeing a different booth clear up. It was a four seat booth and sent to be like in food establishments where it was against the wall to be two on one side and two on the other. She would pick up her food tray and take it over there. She didn't want around Samn but she would be happy to know that her friend didn't take that knife out. Upon sitting down to where she had view of the table she would still watch just to make sure anger doesn't flare but that'd be it.

Kite walked up next to Jojo's booth, cocking his head to the side slightly. That was an odd scene in his opinion, in fact that would need to be taken care of right quick. Now he wasn't the commander, but all the fresh faced pilots really needed a talking too. One would think that shipbound etiquette would've been learned at the academy.

He sighed shaking his head, knowing full well that if he ended up having to be the one to do so then heads were going to roll. None of the older pilots would put up with seeing this crap, let alone allow it to continue. Then again Kite wasn't the type to really just place himself into a situation, and seeing as how there seemed to be a moment of calm he figured he wouldn't have too.

His purple eyes slowly glanced over to Jojo before looking back at the other table. "So what was that all about?" He asked, wondering if he would get an answer. It wasn't like she was obligated to do so anyway.

Sam, Kelly and Jacob shifted to a booth of their own and started talking about what they were up. Jacob laughed. “In all honesty I didn’t think you would make red let alone graduate from the academy.” Sam smiled. “yeah and while I’m sitting in a giant metal robot that doubles as a coffin and getting my ass shot off while your sitting in the nice cozy ship.” Kelly chuckled. “Yeah well have you tried flying one of these things, not as easy as you would think hell I didn’t expect to fly a ship in the earths atmosphere.” “excuses excuses.” All three of them laughed.

Rai sighed, and rose, watching Jo retreat to a separate booth. She wasn't going to leave her roommate... and.. well... friend... alone. It was her own temper that caused so many problems on-ship so far, especially butting heads with Sam lately on the project. Walking over to the booth, Rai looked at Jo, the brunette's gestures more timid than normal. "This booth... open?"

Jason took the hint while close-knit group of three ran off to their own booth, and followed the retreating brunette and green-haired girl grabbed the same booth together. "This strictly a pilot booth, or are "shoes" welcome here, too?" He hated the anti-flyer jargon aimed at bridge decorations like him, but he took comfort in the fact serious pilots would appreciate what someone like him could bring to the fight.

Jojo would look up at her roommate and friend, noticing that she had come over. The asking was of the booth and with a small smile she would say, "Sure Rai, you are welcome to sit here." It was a calming thought of her own to actually not be so shy to speak yet that isn't to mean that she wasn't shy because in all actuality she was probably as shy as she could ever be in that moment.

She would take full notice of another being, Kite, and would look up at him before shaking her head. It would be her place to say something though and to which she would merely look and shrug, "It wasn't anything to be upsetting yourself over. Just normal talk that gets out of hand, I believe it's called drama." She would say with while there was also another person coming by.

She looked at the male, Jason, and would already be to the wall as a proper way to sit, "This is merely a booth and one of this ship. You work on the ship you've earned place to sit at any booth really. However seeing as how I'm not the only pilot at this table please see to how Rai thinks as well, you have my answer in any case." She would say it calmly while eating and sparing a quick glance back at Rai before going back to eating. As it were she would probably torment her own mind but that wasn't something unheard of about Jojo.

Dizzy yawned as he walked into the dining room, looking around before seeing a few familiar faces from the bridge. He walked over to grab a tray and just grabbed what ever passed as edible, not caring what the mess hall workers put on his plate. He yawned once more as he grabbed a bottle of water and put it on his tray before walking over to the two familiar faces.

"Hey, mind if I join you guys, eh?"Dizzy asked the trio that were seated together and laughing together. He held back another yawn that was coming as he waited for an answer from them.

"Hm...interesting." It was all he gave in terms of a response before going to his own table and eating. Drama....this thing hadn't even really kicked off and that was already present. Well assuming there were no sour emotions and everything seemed to have been water under the bridge he was left with no reason to worry about the possible battle scenario should inter tensions be present.

He ate in silence, closing his eyes every now and then as his thoughts traveled, winding through the past...searching for answers as he often did. Though usually only rectifying mistakes within his own mind. After all the past remained the past until it became present. So there was no fixing what was broken yesterday...especially when those people were dead on the other side of the earthsphere.

“go ahead” Jacob said looking at the newcomer. “Your dizzy right? My name is Jacob, the girl sitting next to me is Kelly but some people call her Radio and the girl with the red coat over her uniform across from me is Sam.” Sam and Kelly both waved when introduced. Jacob turned back to Sam. “Now I know you’re a red but why do you always wear that heavy coat over your uniform it’s not winter yet.” Sam looked at her coat “what’s wrong with my coat?” she asked. Kelly was content on eating her food.

Rai sat mechanically down next to Jo, staring straight down at her food. There was nothing else to say at the moment. However, as Jason came by, asking to join, Watanabe looked up in surprise. "Sure, I guess... fine with me," she answered. Waiting for the young man to have a seat, she paused, looking around the table at their small group.

Jason, on the other hand, studied each of the pilots critically. He had been briefed on most of the transfers, but could not recall all of their names. Either way, he knew a majority were fresh from the Academy, just like him. This, he surmised, would be their trial by fire. "So, what's your take on Kaohsiung?" he asked, fumbling slightly with the red anodized key draped around his neck.

Jojo kept her mind on so many other things that flew through her mind while she had continued to zone out from the chatter. Until a question emerged, her thoughts on Kaohsiung? Well to be precise she didn't have many and what she did have were probably not good. "You can call me Jojo, but this place, Kaohsiung. I take it if an enemy vessel is there they will have us on either side of flanks. Probably a lot like a pincer move seeing as how we'll be out in the open while the enemy would have clear advantage to deal damage from all sides possible. Of course that is speculating if there is an enemy at all. Other than that, I figure they have some computer equipment I'm willing to buy if we get leave time at all." She was a tech person but at the same time she knew strategy and this idea of going to a mass driver with the Seraph may prove to be a fatal flaw if at all the effects are existent. She would then shrug, "I actually don't know too much of the situation, so how about you tell me your name and what you know as well." She had now turned the question table to figure out what this guy thought.

Dizzy took a seat with the other 3 at their table after hearing him give the go ahead to join them. After nodding to Jacob that he was indeed Dizzy, he was introduced to the other two sitting at the table. He nodded to the two girls as they waved to him and listened to Jacob make a remark to Sam about her jacket.

"Nice to meet you guys and he does bring up a point though. Are you just cold despite the heat or something eh?"Dizzy asked Sam as he took a bite out of his food with a small smile on his face and looked like he was about to fall asleep. But he stretched his arms up and swallowed what was in his mouth before giving a large yawn.

"Seriously, I'm not used to being planet side, I've been in space for all my life. Plus how did you guys get here eh? Where were you when you got your orders to board this fine vessel eh?"Dizzy asked the other's as he took another mouth full of food looking at the other's.

“I wear it because I like it.” Sam said in defense. “I got here a few days before the ship departed actually.” She added. “you’re crazy sam.” Jacob said before eating a forkful of spaghetti. Kelly continued eating not looking up from her food her shyness was getting to her right now. “we just boarded the ship actually, our orders came late so we got ferried here on a transport.”

Rai listened in as Jason sat down, explaining the situation. "Well, I'm Jason," he explained. "I'm the Intelligence Officer aboard the Seraph... though I must admit, I was sent here as sort of a last minute assignment. It wasn't exactly what I expected, straight out of the Academy."

Stuart paused, then looked amongst the group there. "I... probably shouldn't say anything... Really I wanted your opinion... figure out how you pilot types handle situations like this, so I can better present the information."

"Another last minute assignment. They've been getting more of those lately." Jojo would think to herself while taking in the detail. She would nod her head lightly as she would look at Jazon as she would sigh after hearing him talk. "We pilots look out for each other and the ship, that is what we do. That little squabble back there is a fine example, the one teased, one retaliated, one meditated, fight was over and no one got hurt." She started to think she was feeling like Den Mother in these situations because of her level head.
