Personality: Taro being the eldest of any known Kagezuchi offspring does not act his age, nor his gender given several genetic conditions. Taro who looks and acts like a teen and is rather proud of his genetic conditions. Whether they were on purpose or not he doesn't care and views himself quiet highly almost too the point of vanity. He's also one willing to take advantage of his appearance and commonly refers too himself as female. Even adopting a feminine name when possible. Against his vanity however Taro is quiet willing to become attached to people in different ways depending on the person. He's even described several people as being rather beautiful without much anger.

Despite childish or self centered appearances Taro is quiet skilled and knowledgeable in his fields, willing to put much on the line for a victory, despite his personality. He also has a deep caring for his family and shows his trust in others that have earned it by considering them family. He however has a fear of needles which has come about due to how often he has been poked by them.

History:
One of the first successful test subjects in the Kagezuchi's experiment for solving the potential population crisis coming from years of terrible fighting. Taro used the Kagezuchi's eldest child Natsuki as a starting point, thus she is biologically his mother.

Taro like the rest of Natsuki's successful "children" have a number of defects, something which Hinagiku and Kyo Natsuki's parents and the lead scientists attribute to their use and tampering of the "father's" genetic code. Taro's specific genetic defects are slower aging and his hormones being heavily imbalanced, to the point he is basically sterile and visibly female. None of these signs showed up durng his early childhood while being raised in a lab with the rest of his siblings.

During most of his early life Taro lived a rather care free existence, commonly dumping duties and responsibilities put onto him onto the second brother Ai. More often then not Taro was rambunctious and caused his fair of trouble despite being the older brother to be followed as an example. At the onset of puberty however things became complicated, with their periodic blood tests they could quickly tell something was wrong with the boy.

Despite their tests they were adamant about actually attempting to fix the boy since they weren't entirely sure what was wrong with him. Eventually they traced the issue with his genetics and feared the rest of the Natsuki stock was similarly affected. Never the less Taro had to live on and did so with oddly little affect on his overall personality. After a brief confusion on adjusting to his new life Taro was able to function properly in society despite his own quirks.

After that thanks to home schooling he and the other successful children of Natsuki's were transferred to public schooling. The resulting chaos of releasing Taro into a public school is well documented and presumably actually lowered the potential birth rate of Solaria. Despite pressure from both the lab and Taro's siblings he was a renown bedhop even up to his military enlistment. His younger activities primarily centered around causing havoc with the way his peers perceived him and often teasing people of both genders.

Despite some minor pressure from the media and the lab in the interest of more tests, Taro showed little interest in joining up with the Solarian military. That is until records were released to the children that their 'mother' Natsuki Kagezuchi was joining up out of family interest. Now showing more interest Taro made use of the lab's military simulators and increased his studies. This understandably left little time for bed hopping and upon graduating with some help from the Solarian Lab Taro was admitted into the military academy.

Thankfully he restrained his bed hopping behavior during his training, while his condition left him in limbo on where to assign him formally. Still despite his rather bland military training one day driving by boredom would change Taro's career.

During a training exercise by the Solarian Military and Civilian Intelligence Agencies, Taro intervened after being hit on by one of the greener rookies. Taking the two man team's intelligence and incapacitating the two men, he continued their mission and stole other group's information and or incapacitated them. Taro also evaded identification due to commonly being refereed to as female in any search of the records. At the end of the mission Taro accomplished all the group's mission goals before any of the 'surviving' teams.

When the dust finally settled many of the intelligence agencies were humiliated and wanted Taro punished in some manner, but before anything could be settled the supervisor of the training instead wanted to acquire Taro as an agent. The man was rather impressed that one person could outwit all these other trainees and with little hesitation Taro accepted. Now part of the main Solarian Intelligence Agency, Taro was pulled through additional training which he completed within enough time to be allowed back home for the introduction to the Kagezuchi family.

After getting along rather well with his mother Taro was returned for last minute training and eventually deployed. Oddly enough he was commonly called upon to be part of Natsuki Kagezuchi's missions. Other then that however he served in several ground and space operations both in and out of mobile suits. Taro has also achieved an ace ranking but due to the nature of the missions which they were achieved he's yet to publicly become one.

Personality:
Unlike his older brother Ai is rather responsible, whether this is an adapted behavior or just how Ai was is not entirely known. Unlike Taro who embraced his changes and flaunted them at any time, Ai's outlook on things didn't change much and it's generally accepted even if his body hadn't changed Ai would still be like he is now.

History: Like Taro before him, Ai is part of a project run by Hinagiku and Kyo Kagezuchi, the goal of which is to solve a looming population crisis. Also like Taro Ai has a number of genetic defects, the most obvious of which is a hormone imbalance, his aging is also slowed but not to the same rate as Taro's. Ai while looking feminine is somewhat viable to becoming a father, it is presumed in a year however this will be lost, while secondary sexual characteristics will become more pronounced.

While his older brother's life was careful, Ai's was more focused on keeping his siblings comfortable given their often spartan living conditions in the lab. Often playing with the young siblings in the simulators the lab had and encouraged them to use in hopes of sparking off interest in piloting. Unluckily for them Ai showed little interest in such and only did so at the whims of his younger siblings. Still despite Ai's generally busy schedule he did show interest in space travel and his only known wish was to do work out in space.

Despite his dreams Ai continued to support his siblings even as onset of puberty in both Taro and himself caused quite an uproar in the lab. Continuing to live his life as he had, Ai like Taro joined public schooling after being taught on how to interact with society now. Despite a small fanclub of male followers Ai led a rather normal life, made friends had decent grades and kept his siblings content.

After graduating and leaving several broken hearts behind him Ai followed after Taro's lead and joined with the Solarian military. Again like Taro, Ai has issues finding housing but was eventually settled in when he was transferred to deal with ships. While not exactly the best situation given his genetic conditions Ai carried on. It also helped that Kagezuchi and the lab's influence squashed those who couldn't control themselves, still eventually Ai made it into a higher officer position that allowed him control over an Admiral Togo class in the Solarian fleet.

Since then however there has been little Ai has been able to do to prove himself. He's now primarily on escort duty of carriers in his fleet or small patrols where his pilots have done decently.

Personality: While both Taro and Ai were ether clever or extremely responsible, Aoi didn't seem to inherit the genes they had. Aoi is rather slow to understand things flowing at his own pace and can be surprisingly stubborn. Despite all the above Aoi is easily dragged along with things and unsurprisingly has been turned into the family dress up doll and is commonly in some odd outfit. Whether it's his choice or not is currently not known, but he's yet to voice a complaint.

Still as the third brother Aoi is commonly seen with Aoi or his mother ether supporting them or drifting off into his own world. Whatever world he drifts into is well beyond the comprehension of the general population however, only Natsuki and Ai have been able to interpret his sometimes odd half awake sayings.

Despite these apparently negative qualities, Aoi is easily one of the more able bodied combatants in the four children. Aoi once he does learn something doesn't easily forget this and just about anything is learned in the same general pace. So while it took almost a week for Aoi to learn how to cook eggs, it also took a week for him to completely learn a textbook worth of mobile suit tactics. Aoi learns through repetition along with trial and error, never giving up until a success is obtained. Advice is also taken but whether or not Aoi uses it varies.

Aoi is however quiet and tends to keep to himself, but has shown considerable attention and speaks through actions rather then words. Often keeping his own private loyalties despite whatever actions he takes, while always loyal to his family.

History: Aoi was born in a different phase of experimenting from his brothers Taro and Ai, hoping to expand human potential. By the time Taro and Ai's conditions had been revealed the lab personnel hoped it was only isolated to the pair. Unfortunately however it was not and on the onset of puberty Aoi's blood tests confirmed their fears. After that all testing using Natsuki's DNA was put on hold while they worked on the problem.

Despite this however they carried on with Aoi's training program. As they wanted to be open to all possibilities Aoi was geared towards military financing hoping to gain funding from additional sources outside of normal scientific grants. From almost day one the scientists tried to hone Aoi for a military purpose.

Sadly however they made little visible success and after a few months of trying to get the boy interested they gave up. An unintended consequence however was that Aoi constantly seemed to come back to the simulators time and time again. Ether out of habit or something else it was a general mystery, but Aoi eventually let on he really didn't know what else to do.

After his puberty Aoi became Taro's personnel dress up doll, wearing any manner of female clothing, this would quickly become a habit of Aoi's as well. Generally Taro dressed Aoi in Gothic Lolita attire and when he acquired it used make up on poor Aoi. Still like a good brother Aoi persevered and even got used to it just like the dress up. Eventually even without Taro's provocation Aoi got dressed in random clothing, thus triggering Aoi's feminine dressing habits.

When Aoi entered schooling however things were not as easy for him as his older brothers. Aoi was often the target of bullying despite his grades due to his self secluding nature. The issue however was the state the bullies were in after initiating physical contact, depending on what they did prior they would be relatively unharmed or required serious medical attention and months of recovery time. This eventually put Aoi in charge of her school's delinquents who to their credit followed Aoi wherever he went they even joined en mass as Aoi enlisted and are apparently continuing to funnel their underclassmen to Aoi's unit a process which repeats each year.

Second to his family he greatly treasures the loyalty his companions show and often goes out of his way to protect them from being looked down on. Despite this Aoi is relatively low ranking officially due to his lack of vocal initiative, but is a credited Mobile Suit Ace due to his kill count. Those which followed him into the military also tend to generally defer judgement to Aoi. Due to the informal nature Aoi's unit seems to carry and their numbers, they've garnered a rather bad reputation within the Solarian military, any attempts to break the unit up have also lead to just making the problem spread. This leaves Aoi's unit a dumping ground for misfits and prone to high volumes of conflict. Naturally this has left them full of veterans and tough as nails soldiers all with strong bonds with each other. Aoi is thus the unofficial leader of the group while officers try to manage the situation.

Personality: Kotori is a strange occurrence in the four children of Natsuki, while his gender is the main point, the more vocal point Kotori is on is that he didn't readily accept his body's changes like his siblings. Ontop of that unlike the three older siblings Kotori attempts to refer to himself as a guy. In an odd act of fate Kotori has a strong love of anything 'cute', much to his embarrassment.

Despite some personal issues Kotori has trained almost from the moment he could walk to pilot a mobile suit, continual hard work and persistence is his pride and joy. Thus Kotori is deeply proud of his skills inside a mobile suit and easily offended if others take it the other way.

This highly focused training and private tutor has left Kotori socially withdrawn. While he is interested in being more social, his odd family and his own condition have made him somewhat parinoid. Still what friendships he can make he greatly treasures.

History: After reviewing their findings on Natsuki's children the Solarian lab decided to have one more go at it after a refined template was submitted. Unlike the previous three however they didn't have to wait long to find out something was wrong, considering Kotori had both sexual organs it was kinda hard to miss. Alas it seemed the scientist had made a hermaphrodite instead of a 'normal' child. The scientists collectively praised this unique accomplishment but also sighed as they put a lid on any further experiments relating to Natsuki.

Still not looking a gift horse in the mouth, the scientists jumped at the chance to toy with their somewhat successful cyber newtype and hoped to train a genius. From the start Kotori was slowly brought into mobile suit training and with steady praise and his own enjoyment of it the lab was confident they secured the proper path for him.

Things became derailed around Kotori's puberty as physical changes began showing up. Thanks to the lab's single minded devotion to training a potential ace they forgot to prepare poor Kotori for this problems. Not that his siblings weren't supportive of him, it's just Kotori grew up believing he was male and he took it alot worse then the older siblings.

His panicked state and the need to get the child to get used to it derailed most of his training. Still he held onto the notion he was a boy. A flawed idea considering he wasn't completely male to begin with but nether his siblings or the lab techs had the heart to tell him. Still even as he was talked through things by his older siblings and the scientists it was hard for Kotori to 'convert' like his siblings had.

Off and on however he showed steady progress towards adjusting, but viewed his time training in simulators as an attempt to try being more like the boy he had been. Difficulties aside Kotori put up resistance to anything feminine shoved onto him even as his body constantly rebelled against his desire to be male.

Depressed the 'boy' entered schooling which had mixed results oh him. Eventually due to concerns over his mental health Kotori was removed from public schooling to be privately tutored and focus more time on his piloting skills. It helped Kotori regain some self esteem as her scores while piloting showed great skill, pushing her to excel there as much as possible. All the while receiving private tutoring to make up for their new direction. The meeting with his mother helped his self esteem as well, although her habits of expressing her 'motherly' love for them tends to annoy him considering she sees them all as female.

With the labs help Kotori was able to join up with the Solarian military after finishing his education. However being too young to actively serve Kotori was stuck training, but his skills allowed him to receive a high mark in his officer's training. The few engagements Kotori has been used in have also shown his determination to prove that all his training was not just for show and is on the verge of becoming an ace.
