I still hold grounds X2 was the bets of the X series to me in my opinion. X is alright like I said and i didn't mind it's remake on the PSP. I never attempted to get the Shoryuken in X2, though.

Megaman 2 isn't quite my favourite one either (Although it is a really good game and I do appreciate it for setting up the formula and having unique bosses(Alien Wily WTF and FTW)) my favourite one is Megaman 6 which oddly enough most people think is the worst in the series...although I will admit it is incredibly obvious that Mr.X is Wily, and that his plans have FAILD!

To be honest, it doesn't really matter how difficult a game is for me (unless it's really too easy/hard). I like Mega Man 2 the most because it had a very good weapon set (which I felt was lacking in the late NES games), and the levels were easily replayable (in other words, I'm still having alot of fun replaying the game), the levels were well designed, the music was amazing, and it pretty much perfected the series' formula.

With all of that, Mega Man 2 is my most played game in the series. My least played as of now is Mega Man 8...and for good reasons too. Bleh.
