Picking up seventeen years after the final events of the site's predecessor, Unwritten, May I Be Your Shield is an alternative universe intermediate Twilight roleplay. With a word count of 500 words and a willing and insightful staff, not to mention elaborate twists and turns in the plot that are sure to leave you on the edge of your seat and your fingers white hot, this isn't a site like any that you've seen before. After careful consideration, we regret to inform you that May I Be Your Shield will be taking a hiatus. Real life has become chaotic and we both agree that we presently lack the time and commitment necessary to keep the site alive and thriving. What does a hiatus mean and how long will it last? A hiatus means we might or might not reopen the doors of the site at a later time, real life permitting. If we decide to do this, you will receive an email informing you of our intent. If you currently play a canon character, you will get dibs on that same character if you wish to rejoin us. As for how long, at this point we will have to say indefinitely. We’re not sure when or even if the site will reopen, so we aren’t going to give you a timeframe. We apologize to all of you and want to thank you for the hard work and time you’ve put into the site.
