Enter the sensual and haunting world of Passageway; a short film that will excite your imagination with a dramatic tale of the forbidden love between two women and the jealousy that ultimately separates them.


Esther, a prostitute working in Vancouver in the 1930’s is embroiled in a dangerous affair with Gianna, the beautiful and sensual wife of Juan - her best customer. The time has come for her to choose between the love of her life or to end the affair before it destroys them both. Resolving to see Gianna one last time she travels again through the hidden underground passageway that takes her to her lover. They share one final afternoon of passion unaware that fate, and Juan, is about to catch up with them.


When Esther returns to her boudoir, she is surprised to find Juan waiting for her. He has discovered the affair and confronts Esther. Overwhelmed by his jealousy he murders Esther in a fit of rage. Now Esther is forever condemned to relive this final day as her ghost walks the long empty underground passageway that used to connect her to Gianna.

So, now how do we get this film? Maybe one of us could write an e-mail to the contact address given at the Mars Entertainment homepage. Perhaps there is a collection of shorts on DVD.

I love doing research. Its so much fun, especially when you find information after all the hard work. Well if Googling is hard work.

I already emailed the company and asked if there would be a DVD release. As you stated and as did I in the email, the film is to short for a release of its own.

Maybe it will be available in a collection of shorts, as you said, or as a download.

I will let you all know what I find out.

FYI: It is an awfully intriguing plot for a 15 minute film!

I may just be pointing out the obvious and already-done, but did you do a search on youtube.com for it?

I searched for a couple of Passageway-related terms, but didn't find anything on YouTube. Besides, the film is probably copyrighted and I'm not sure whether or to which degree intellectual property protection is enforced on that site.

Ok fan activities aside, I found out I can purchase a VHS copy from the production company. Sadly it is not available on DVD. Odd I know for heck I can burn my own DVD's with my little o'l PC. But anyway that's the info I have.

Yep, I wont be able to screen grab, but I would like to own a copy. Let me see what it costs and methods of payment...

After days, weeks, months of work I finally succeeded in transcoding the video stream into a real video file (mpg, 30mb). This doesn't exactly improve the quality, but at least you aren't dependent on the net anymore, and you can make screen caps.

Note that is the first time you directly mentioned the video here, you just gave a little hint last year when you said "Frosty has something in store..."
I so want to watch the full version, but I doubt that will ever happen.

I seem to remember seeing the full version online or am I dreaming? I at least remember a scene where Lucci was on a bed crying uncontrollably

I only know about the scenes from the demo reel (where she was seen crying) and the 5 minute version for which I send you a link in a private message last year. The full 15 minute version is not online as far as I know.

Thanks for jarring my memory! That must be where I saw her crying. FYI I did write to the production company and asked if I could purchase a DVD or VHS of the short and they never replied after I told them I am in the US!

That was August and I never told you all how it played out. Or I should say I just remembered to close the story so to speak.

Maybe you were a little confused because you did tell me how it played out in a PM, if I recall correctly. It's sad your efforts weren't rewarded in the end. Don't we have anybody living up there?

You know, this reminds of one of MrsRon's recent stories. She lamented even the Moores don't get free copies of the BSG DVD's until after Ron has bugged the studio for several weeks. In fact, due to the high addictiveness of the show, they never get back most of the season boxes lent to friends.

Books or movies, NEVER lend out either!

Maybe I’ll give it a try and bug the company about the short film. I absolutely wan’t to see that movie! Luciana playing such an emotional role, the artistic looking scenes; "Passageway" is a dream come true for any Lucci fan.
