We rarely get to see private pictures of Luciana (that is, photos that are neither work-related nor from conventions). Hence, it’s a great pleasure to present the following selection of four pictures. I'm very grateful to Luciana’s mom who sent them in.


First of all, here’s a picture of our Canadian girl saluting in front of the impressive gate to Buckingham Palace, the official residence of Canada’s head of state, Queen Elizabeth II. The photo was taken in August 2008, right after Luciana spent a weekend at Galactica Four in London-Heathrow.

The second picture, taken in December 2007, shows Luciana’s beloved and incredibly cute dogs, Tiamo (left), a Bichon Maltais, and Alazar, a Bicha-poodle.

Wow, thanks Mary, with providing us with these wonderful, cute and large photos. They are absolutely great!

Oh, and I had no idea she was in Italy again in 2008.

Thank you Mary for sharing some family pics with us! Those are quite charming. You really get the sense Lucci loves to go to exotic places and experience the world.

After my initial short "Thank you!" post, I have to comment on these pictures again. These photos are very beautiful, and I'm so grateful to be able to see them. While I have seen several pictures of her in London, including one in front of the Buckingham Palace, this high resolution photo is very welcome and by far the best. Thanks a lot for sharing it!

Yes, it's nice she could be this close to "her" queen. And while I'm not surprised you know that Queen Elizabeth II is Canada's head of state (not to mention Australia and and more than half a dozen other countries), it's still nice to see that someone knows this little fact that is almost forgotten by the general public.

Back on topic. Finally, we have a great picture of her two dogs. They are beyond cute. I always wanted to see a proper pic of them after seeing a small one of Tiamo in her MySpace gallery, and now we have this very sweet pic.

The pictures from Italy are just gorgeous, I love them. I never thought we'd see pictures of her from Italy. It's quite funny how these large leaves of that plant behind her head make it look like she has mouse ears.

The last pic is my favorite. Luciana and that landscape, so much breathtaking beauty in one picture is almost too much for me. I just hope it doesn't go down very far on the other side of that wall. I'm a bit afraid of hights, and it always makes me nervous when someone sits on a wall where they could seriously hurt themselves if they fall off. But still, this picture is my favorite, she looks adorable!
