Fanboard news and updates

I have made some updates and changed some settings for this board.

(1) I am setting the new limit for images you can post in a thread from 10 to 50. Please, use thumbnails if you plan to post a lot of images in one post. Also keep them no more than three thumbnails wide or it will pull apart the boards table and make my lovely header look funky.

(2) I created a new sub-forum for Battlestar Galactica images
in the gallery section. Please feel free to post appropriate images in the proper episode threads.

I will move existing posts in the old BSG gallery thread ASAP. So no one has to repost. It may take me a while to do that so please hang tight.

The location of the new BSG gallery is as such:

Luciana Carro->Luciana Pictures & Multimedia->Luciana Photo Gallery>
Battlestar Galactica

It is the upper most Forum.

Edit: I successfully created the BSG gallery forum and moved all existing threads over there.

Please note during the next few days I will be moving some threads and deleting some forums. I am not deleting any content, we are however in the process of consolidating forums so its easier to find things.

Jan. 07 Interview on www.galactica.tv ?!?!? I didn’t know about that, please tell us more!

The folks at Galactica.tv got an exclusive 45 minute phone interview with Lucci and they will post it, ( I believe in two parts) starting in January on their web site.

In February we can archive the interview here.

I forwarded some questions from Pedda to the interviewer. Maybe some of his gets answered.

Solium, your new forum header is nothing less but breathtakingly beautiful and well-composed!

This is definitely the best header this board has ever seen. Granted, Lucci's mom has provided you with wonderful raw material, but the final graphic oozes admiration and talent.

Oh, is there any chance we can see the clean version of all these new cool photos?

Yes, I have permission to start a special image gallery with Lucci's Mom's exclusive pics. It will be up over the weekend.

Lucci Mom's pics were so awesome I really didn’t have to work to hard. The images speak for themselves.

Yay! Solium was quick to update the header to reflect the recent exciting news. Can't wait for June 13.

I was able to jump right on it for a change.

Please note yet another header graphic with in a month! A record for me! Also note a slightly different title for this board. "Luciana Carro's Fan Board.

I am sure you are all as excited as me when Luciana recently said on her MySpace to visit "Her Fan board"- meaning this modest little place right here.

I am VERY honored that Luciana has adopted this board as her own. That being said I did not specifically call this her "official" fan board. Keep in mind, Luciana puts all her faith in us to run this board without any supervision. Thus, the content of this web site, words and pictures are completely fan based.

Please do NOT assume Luciana is at all responsible for anything on this board. She is not. We simply have her blessings and good will.

Nice new header, it was a good idea to include pictures of some of her characters.
I liked the previous one a little bit better, though. Is it still available somewhere for download? Because I just noticed I never saved it to my harddisk.

Aren't you doing serious work while at work anymore? Just kidding. Obviously, I'm very happy that our precious little board finally features a header with Luciana's most enchanting photo of all time. Love the "Sometimes Dorinha Model" line. (BTW: On Lucci's myspace, Dorinha invited her to do another photo shoot. Let's hope this is gonna happen.)

You know, it's funny, I've got three older headers on my disk all of which say "Luciana Carro's Fan Board". Are you a precog or something? Well, I don't wanna ruin the moment, of course. It's too exciting to do to that. We're super blessed to be sort-of-officially recognized by her. Hopefully, that announcement will lure some regular visitors of her myspace over to us.

"With great recognition comes great responsibility", to misquote a famous movie. Accordingly, it's now up to us to provide an even better and ever-evolving collection of all things related to Lucci. Let's rise to the challenge.

Dorinha? Pedda misses nothing! I did see that little invite on Luciana's MySpace, thus I felt compelled to pass along a little hint to Lucci.

My other headers had the "s" on the end of Carro??? Gee, I just don't remember. Funny, it felt so official this time around.
