I just had an idea for an additional footnote to be added into debunking 911 Myths with regard to the stand down on this page:

http://911physics.atspace.com/Pages/Debunk...s/StandDown.htm

I thought it should also be mentioned that Mike Williams has employed a very slimy tactic. He has attempted to "debunk" a claim that it took approximately 18 minutes between first loss of communication with Payne Stewart's Lear jet and interception, when this was never originally claimed. The claim was that it took 18 minutes between the time they decided to scramble jets and actual interception; something he cannot debunk as this is an official fact. Mike has twisted the claim by taking advantage of the fact that if you deduct the hours time difference from the time of first communication loss to the time of intercept, you have a time of 18-19 minutes, thus attempting to base the original claim on distorted data. It's a very clever, yet slimy tactic Mike has employed throughout his website. At first glance his "takes" seem highly plausible, however, it's only when you carefully deconstruct his "analysis" that you realize they are not quite what they seem.

Another claim by 911 Myths is that the Bin Laden confession tape has not been fabricated, and that the truth movement will only show one image of comparison. They present several other frames from the tape in an attempt to debunk this. While I actually happen to agree with Mike that the picture in question has been overused, his claims that other frames show the real OBL in the video are not necessarily true.

The frames presented by 911 Myths do at first glance appear convincing, however, they offer no comparison against known photos of OBL as a reference. So, could the man in the video really be OBL? Let's put this to the test...

In both comparisons, the orientation of each photo is approximately the same. You will notice that the real OBL has a much longer, more pronounced nose. Also, the eye/nose and nose/ear ratios are considerably greater on the real OBL.

In conclusion, the frames presented by 911 Myths are certainly more convincing, however, when carefully examined the measurements do not add up. While the difference between these men may at first glance appear to be negligible, careful inspection will show that in the video we are looking at a completely different man! Still, due credit must be given to this double - he certainly won't have any trouble pursuing a post 9/11 career as a celebrity look-alike! smile.gif
