I can find a dozen website with less than 100% accerate infomation on any topic.

The main point is when you read something or hear something don't take it as fact.
Use your own judgement and logic to understand the subject. Get multiple viewpoints.

The guys talking in that video linked to in the first post dabble in some "less than scholarly" conspiracy theories, but what they are describing regarding 'registration' is spot on, and is a window into a deep, complex, and very interesting subject that has very important overtones relating to American freedoms and even 9/11. For what it's worth, what I've been able to discover -

The roots of it go back to 1213, when King John of England relinquished the Crown to Pope Innocent III in return for having the excommunication of him and England lifted, from then on England became a fiefdom of the Vatican. The Knights Templar were the Pope's own militia and somehow the power of the Crown became embodied in the City of London, a square mile in the center of London (a sovereign state with it's own police force, unencumbered by English laws), where the Templars were based (in the Crown Temple Church). I have not figured out how the location of this power changed from the Vatican to the Square Mile, if anyone can figure it out I'd be very interested. Anyway, this arrangement has not changed in 800 years, the Square Mile is where the power of the Crown resides, the Queen of England is but a figurehead.

The Templars became Europe's foremost bankers. They were later purged by King Phillip of France (who owed them too much money and decided to just kill a bunch of them), but the banking and legal center of the world did not change. The most powerful bank in the world is the Bank of England, down the street from the Crown Temple Church, and the Crown Temple is now the headquarters of the International Bar Association, of which all Bar Asssociations around the world are franchises. The two industries are hand-maidens of one another, they evolved together and have their roots in the same building.

Two interesting asides - first, the "end-timers", a dangerous and growing sect of Evangelical Christians of whom it is suspected president Bush is one of, believe that as per the book of Revelations the rebuilding of Solomon's Temple (where the arc of the covenant was supposedly housed) is a prerequisite to Judment day. I don't know much about this, but it scares the bejeezus (no pun intended) out of me. On the original site of Solomon's Temple (the Temple Mount) stands the 3rd most holy Mosque in Islam. When I started reading about these "end-timers", I finally realised why Bush, who counts the Christian-Right as part of his base, has teamed up with Zionists to invade the Middle East (if I might put it so bluntly). Now the kicker - the Templar base when they were fighting in the Holy Land during the Crusades was, you guessed it, the Temple Mount - that's why they were called the Templars - the design of the rotunda of the Crown Temple Church was supposedly modelled after the original Church.

Second - I live in Japan, and recently I was talking with some people I work with and they were talking about Japanese "legalese", how much it differs from normal spoken Japanese. I thought,
doh . Of course, the Japanese Bar Association is a franchise of the International Bar located in the Square Mile just like the American Bar Association. The point is, I guess, even in Japanese, legal language has been defined and redefined to "bind". When you buy a car, you don't really own it, not unless you pay in cash and specifically ask for allodial title for it (someone correct me if I am wrong). That's why you have to pay taxes on it, registration fees, etc. Everything is like that. That's the way the system is set up, to take away our liberty. Liberty to own property, liberty that the framers gave to Americans, and the English "merchants/bankers/barons/you pick the word" had been trying to win back ever since - they got a good part of the way there in 1871, and another good part of the way there in 1913 with the Federal Reserve Act, and again in late 2001 when the Patriot Act was passed. We are slaves, get used to it or speak out against it. Either way, do yourself a favor and look into it.
