Yes, here's why.
http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,11...2353683,00.html DAMASCUS, September 12 (RIA Novosti)-The U.S. Embassy in the Syrian capital, Damascus, appears to have been attacked Tuesday morning. A series of explosions followed by gunfire rocked the Syrian capital, Damascus, a RIA Novosti correspondent reported from the city, and a policeman standing at a cordoned off area said the shooting had happened at the American diplomatic mission. The district houses many missions, but the Russian Embassy is located in a different part of the city. The gunfire has subsided since the incident was first reported at just after 10 a.m. local time (6 a.m. GMT), the correspondent said. This post has been edited by MichaelMR on Sep 12 2006, 08:57 AM |

I don't think so, since those attacks are yet to be attributed to the government.

Been watching the news - Syria's security forces are being complemented for their performance. Make no mistake, this isn't about Syria, it's about Iran. Blame will be fixed on Iranian funded people. This is to get us one step closer to an invasion of Iran or at least airstrikes.

It's just Iran craps willing destabilize all the muslim world, including Iran to build missiles plateforms closer to Israël. For sure ... we can proove it. As for the 911 I vote for Iran. |

Syria Says US Behind Attack On Own Embassy
September 13, 2006 6:03 a.m. EST Ryan R. Jones - All Headline News Middle East Correspondent Jerusalem, Israel (AHN) - Senior Syrian government official have accused the US of being behind Tuesday's assault on its own embassy in downtown Damascus. A Baath party official, speaking on the condition of anonymity, told WorldNetDaily, "We in the government are 100 percent sure America was behind this attack, which is not the same as other attacks by Islamic groups." He explained, "Only the Americans can succeed in carrying out an attack just 200 meters from President [Bashar] Assad's residence in the most heavily guarded section of Syria." The official charged that Washington had orchestrated the attack to "prove Syria is filled with terrorists and to put us in a weak position" in order to extract political concessions. Following the attack, Bush administration officials said they hoped the incident had convinced Damascus of the dangers of Islamic terror and the need to cooperate with the West against the phenomenon. The US and several of its European allies have repeatedly demanded over the years that Damascus close down the local offices and training camps of several organizations hostile to Israel and the West. The identities of those who attacked the US embassy Tuesday have not been revealed. Three of the gunmen were killed by Syrian guards during the assault. A fourth was reportedly captured. http://www.allheadlinenews.com/articles/7004843361 |

Sy Hersh says the plan to attack Iran is already finished. We're just waiting for the UN to fail in the "diplomatic" realm.
I think Israel will hit Syria when we hit Iran, frankly. |

I dont think they will try North korea for a while. There simply to dangerous, i know amercia got strongest military but North korea has alot bigger army than IRAN or syria. They have most troops out of any country in world. That would be bloody battle. I think they will wait till middle east has been taken over and army is at is strongest with its forces all around world. North korea would simply be to bloody people arnt ready for that many live to be lost yet... But we are getting custom to war.. |

If they go foward...
Israel will get to Iran from Lebanon-Syria and the Us will go through Irak. They will do a sandwitch attack... Unless they use nukes, those damn lunatics. I cant beleive its actualy a possibility, this century is not starting well at all. |

All I have to say is, the last time I wrote about this topic, I had the Secret Service knocking on my door. We need to get the F**K out of the middle east. Innocent people are dying by us or by their neighbor..

they've learned a lot from east-germany's Stasi and Hitler's Gestapo btw ... Stasi is the short form of "Staatssicherheit" and that means "Homeland Security". Gestapo is the short form of "Secret State Police". They've learned A LOT!!! |
