I was always skeptical but Webster Griffin Tarpley's "Synthetic Terror," which I read this year, really pushed me over the edge.

Nonetheless, it took months to get my head around it. Now that I have, I wish I hadn't because I am pissed and miserable and spoilin' for a fight.

Some things you can never unsee, never unlearn. Whoever said the truth will set you free is full of stool. The truth will alienate you from your friends and family, will break your heart, and will put you in danger.

I doubted the official story from the very beginning. Basic laws of physics disproves the official story. Plus, I am a regular reader of www.whatreallyhappened.com .

I first started doubting the original story in 2004, when I first caught the Loose Change 2 video on Google Video.

I am ashamed to admit that I wholeheartedly supported George Bush's War On Terror up until that time, having swallowed the BULLSHIT that the media continues to spoonfeed the masses to this day. After watching that video, I literally spent about 12 to 16 hours a day over the next four or five months, reading all of the 'alternative theory' information I could get my hands on (at the time I was unemployed so I had the time to educate myself with the TRUTH!).

The most frustrating thing for me is that most of the people I try to wake up think that I am completely full of shit for believing the TRUTH, while they, of course, are perfectly sane for believing BULLSHIT. I have tried to convince them of what is happening in America (and what is starting to happen here in England also), but it seems that most people are too self-centred these days to give a shit about something that will not impact directly upon them until it is far too late for them to do anything about it.

I sincerely hope that when all these new prisons are finally finished being built here, I will get to see the look on these guys faces as the NWO frogmarches them through the gates at gunpoint wave.gif

From day One and in the first hour I suspected it, my father suspected it and the people in the street suspected it, I am an arab american and at the day of the attack I was living in EGYPT.

Every one there was convinced (and still convinced) that this attack was to frame muslims, and to allow muslim enemies to attack them and destroy everthing they had.

even those who were muslim fundementalist were deeply saddend by the attacks 1st because it was done to mutilate islam name and 2nd because of the many muslim who will die in the islamic world in order revenge the attacks.

Every one here in Egypt and around the middleease are quite insisting on that Israel was the only winner from this attack.

NB. when I saw the fall of WTC life on the TV at that moment. I said that looks like a controlled demolition

Well first off it was on my birthday and i rememeber coming to school after just watching it thinking "Why...how could those terrorists do this??"
After coming home that afternoon i headed straight to the tv and just watched for hours and hours just thinking about it. Until i saw the pentagon, my mum came walking through and also saw the pentagon and said "A plane made that whole?!"
I guess thats when i had my thoughts. Every birthday since then ive thought about it and tried to find out more about it but didnt really have much luck.

Until this year, Watching loose change Absolutley Flipped my world about your goverment...On monday [my birthday,9/11] all i could think about was the towers.
and now every time im on the computer i will always have something opened to watch about 9/11.
I wish i could be there with you all to give my respects and to just see for myself where those towers stood.
But im doing my bit here in australia by persuading people to watch loose change.
and Luckliy its working tongue.gif
Together we can get the truth that needs to be heard!

(Also, FIRST POST, hi everyone im Samantha smile.gif from OZ)

yes i was a late bloomer for this. 2006 is when i started. the main reason is i don't have cable or anything besides my PC to read news, and get info. the weird things is it started with a notion to relive that day so i started looking for news clippings and videos of 9/11. plane site i found and watched which intreged me. then loose change, the great conspiracy, amounst others that changed my mind on 9/11. a big thanks to the eye openners for posting this info on the web for ppl to see and veiw.

While I never supported the war (not even the one in Afghanistan -- let alone Iraq [I was amongst the pre-war protesters of Iraq]), and while I also have been doubting more and more anything that the Bush Admin says, it is only yesterday (9-11-2006) that I was convinced that they lie about what happened on 9-11.

I heard the debate on DemocracyNow! (go to www.democracynow.org and go to the archives for 9-11-2006 to see this). This debate was between the Loose Change guys and the heads of Popular Mechanics (who were trying to debunk their theory). The LC guys made good points. The PM guys spun air -- I think now that they had memorized Bush Admin talking points. The PM guys' arguements were all shallow. I kept on thinking that all of their evidence had been fixed by the Bush Admin.

Then the PM guys gave me the evidence that I needed to convince me. They used the tactic of comparing the "bad guys" to holocaust deniers -- they did this in exactly the way the Bush Admin does. To me this is hard evidence that the Bush Admin is hiding something. They have told a whopper about 9-11.

They are beginning to be caught about this lie has they have already been caught lying on other matters.

Today more than ever I do not believe anything that the Bush Admin says. Everything they say is a web of lies.

Welcome (to the rabbit hole lol).

It was interesting to hear what someone who wasn't on one side of the issue or the other (an objective observer) thought of the debate.

Enjoy the forum, myakka

QUOTE (CrazyBlade @ Aug 26 2006, 04:20 PM)
Actually mid-2005, and 911 in Plane Site was the reason.

To my eternal shame, up until this year I bought it all - 9/11, 7/7, ID Cards, the War On Terror, Invasion Of Iraq, Afghanistan. The whole thing.

Then I saw LC. And I'm still learning how corrupt this whole western system is. And I do believe it is all tied together.

CrazyBlade

this is it cept minor differences.

Wihtin a few days of the event. I spent all day in front of the TV watching the news and listening to what was being said. I apologise for saying this but I wasn't subjected to the almost one-sided view that came from the American press or the scare tactics. After seeing your presidents reaction to the news I was shocked to say the least. Being from Ireland I have some experience with bombings and the effect it has on people. Even after thirty years of the activities in northern Ireland, people reporting on them and officials who spoke about them were visibly effected. I thought, either Bush has no heart/soul or he is simply not surprised by what he has heard. That kind of started me thinking and then i started looking.

The moment the second plane hit the South Tower. I thought, "Now, where do Bush and Co. fit in here?" The whole thing just sounded fishy.

It didn't think about it much until March of this year when I found My Webpage. It was a real eye-opener. Watching the collapses, I was certain I'd seen something earlier on but couldn't put my finger on it. Then after reading all the 9/11 stiff at serendipity.com I was very sure that the towers had been brought down by control demolitions.

Immediately upon seeing the twin towers collapse, I thought something was up. I wouldn't say that I thought explosives were used, and gov't was comlicit, but rather it was a feeling that things just weren't right. The complete, fast, symetrical collapses of both towers seemed impossible from collisions and fire, which would cause random damage to the structures.

It wasn't until someone sent me the link to Loose Change, and even then I wasn't totally convinced because I found that LC relies too much on speculation and unconvincing forensic studies of low res video. Plus, it was obvious that they were not 'journalists' (not entirely a bad thing) but I wondered how far I could trust their assertions and 'quotes.' Were quotes taken out of context? Did the documents they refer too actually exist? Etc.

But it did start me doubting the original story. It's not that hard to believe the Bush Admin would lie and behave in dishonest & immoral ways... They have done that (in my opinion) since they entered office, and there's plenty of evidence to prove it over the years.

Then I started reading more, and the evidence just builds & builds. Some is ambiguous, like the Silverstein "pull it" quote. It is possible (however unlikely) that he was in fact refering to firefighters (though I'm not sure why he might call people 'it' instead of 'them'). Yet some truthies taut this as 'proof,' and I don't agree that it is conclusive.

Still, plenty of verifiable evidence remains, to be persuasive....

Sadly not until recently when I saw Loose Change.

I actually didn't even download the movie purposely. I was trying to download United 93 using P2P software. When it was complete, I began watching it and saw it was a different video.. I didn't turn off the video however, as it really interested me, and I watched it twice that night. Then the next day I showed it to friends and family and have been searching for the truth since.

I must confess I believed the official story untill a few days ago. Then a friend phoned me and told me about Loose Change. I thought "yeah, yeah..... blah...blah..."- it almost knocked me out as I realized that the official story canīt be true.

I suppose I inaccurately voted. I voted for the time I suspected the attacks had something to do with the government. 2001. When the media told us Al-Qaeda was responsible somehow just didn't seem right to me. That they were able to identify the terrorists in a matter on minutes within the attack was complete bullh1t to me at the time. Official stories are exactly that - stories.

It did not take me long to recognise who was behind it all.Infactit was 9/11 itself.Being a muslim even though not a strict one, i knew it could not have been a muslim behind the attacks. Here in Pakistan everyone knew about it and the fact that USA immediately used Pakistan to attack Afghanistan instigated more controversies.Even though you might have come to know of all this now, it was known to the people of Pakistan, thanks to many politicians who immediately spilled the beans that Pakistan was threatened by USA in the same words now described by Musharaf, the man doing USA,s job here.living in Pakistan i know that hardly anyone supports him, infact no one does. What i cant understand is that USA continues to support Israel, killer of millions of muslims however its only targets of aggresion are muslim countries. Take a look around you and try finding a single non-muslim country under attack or condemnation of any sort by the western governaments.Kashmir, Afghanistan,Iraq,Chechniya, and many more soon to come (iran,Syria). If you have any questions as to my comments pls reply to me.

I always suspected something wrong with 9/11. I was in school then, and I walked into the classroom. My teacher hadn't told us what was going on. So I found out while walking into my second hour, where i saw the towers collapsing on TV. It was funny, because I hadn't known about any plane or fires, just saw them falling. My first thought was a controlled demolition, and I was only 12-13. It was obvious to most of us, but like many, I lost my instincts and went by what the media told me. However, I still had some clever intuition, I never fell for the Osama Bin Laden crap, or Iraq war. Just the official story of 9/11. In 2004, I began to question it with the birth of the 9/11 commission. I began doing my own research, desperate for the truth, w/e it may be. I found sites and videos, one being "The Great Conspiracy". A few weeks passed, and I wanted to watch this video again, to show to others also, and upon searching for it, I found Alex Jones.
I got heavy into his documentaries. I began reading books on this subject shortly after. This is when I stumbled upon David Ray Griffin, a brilliant mind. I own both his books, and have read them.
Since then I have been absorbing as much knowledge as I can.
