Hiya,

Just a thought, very low probability of it coming to anything.
But does anyone have any knowledge of testing for explosives being done on pieces coming from the WTC?

I have seen some guy (dont want to bother going through the footage to find out who) saying that they found traces of sulphur on the metal which would tend to prove the thermite theory.
But I'm wondering if anybody could come up with a piece of material (PC parts, paper, whatever) that was inside one of the towers?

After all, one of the justifications for the demo theory is the fact that there was debris of all kind showered over the area. And knowing that humans are rather attached to objects, is it not possible that some people picked up some debris as a sort of souvenir of that day?
In which case testing could be done for trace of explosives.

The FEMA report said that there was a high concentration of sulfidation on the steel. Anyone that knows about sulfidation of steel knows that the sulfidation would come from some sort of incendiary or explosive. I don't know of any other means that sulfidation can naturally occur on steel.

Dr. Steven Jones of BYU tested steel samples and said that prelimanary results showed that some sort of incendiary or explosive like thermite/thermate may have been used.

Hope this answers your questions. cheers.gif

Well that doesn't really answer my question, my question is in fact. Can anybody come up with some piece (other than metal) that was in one of the towers to do testing on it? But I guess the answer is no, all that rubble must have been dumped somewhere since.

I have to believe that someone out there has a bottle of dust from their apartment saved that could be tested, don't you hink??

Well maybe somebody does!
Humans do tend to cling on to objects of sentimental value. Anyway if anybody has something of interest, I juste hope he or she will come up and maybe it could prove something...

Although I'm not speaking of dust since that has already been done and the results are known, I 'm thinking more of something like a piece of a computer, curtain fabric, even there were very little remains of substantial size to be recovered.

If it is possible to test for traces of explosives, is there a scientist willing to do the testing and is it someone that can be trusted within the Movement? Any evidence discovered would have no creditablity in a court of law, but might answer some questions. I'm only asking questions here! Would any traces still be detectable 5 years later?

That's a good question!
But something to be tested has to be found first dry.gif
Don't think it will, anyway, this was just a wild idea.

PS : Just saw the picture, lol, is that something that was in one of the towers?

There were lots of personal items found at the site returned to family members as well. Maybe some of them would volunteer their items for testing?

Now that's interesting, items containing paper or fabric would probably be a better trap for chemical traces, but indeed would there be anything left after 5 years?
