i for one dont want bush to be killed ... that means cheney would become president .. and i CERTAINLY wouldnt want that.

personally i think that could be one reason cheney was made vice president .. to protect bush a bit more .. cuz i dont think anyone wants that scary son of a bitch to be president.

anyone else think this could be propaganda? create sympathy for the government?

sympathy .... for the government? the US government? ummmm i doubt it. seems about half the country has little or no faith in the government anymore.

and think about it ... if you were to ask people what jfk being shot did to thier lives ... you think they'd say it had a dramatic effect? hardly anyone would i'm sure.

chef - October 4, 2006 09:38 AM (GMT)
what i mean is that the preview looked like is was sympathizing with the president and discrediting the protesters

thats exactly what this movie portrays, this gives the viewer a link between protesters and a murder of a standing president. Complete PSYOPS movie, reminds me of the flight 93 propaganda being spewed.

Three of my favourite words to see next to each other:
QUOTE
Enlightening,
Provocative,
Controversial.

You will be Enlightened and Provoked by something the MSM thinks is Controversial. :)
Looks fun.

I doubt it is government propaganda of any sort, I just think some one had a good idea for a film, informed or not.

You know what would have been an interesting way to see him assassinated in that movie - If someone were to electronically hijack Air Force One and crash it into his ranch in Texas! Ahh.. the irony! Well, it would certainly give him a taste of his own medicine! :D

I'm not sure WHY I actually feel inclined to speak up on this subject -- I sure in the heck don't support the Bush Administration or their ideals -- but there is something that concerns me regarding these comments about killing the president.

People are watching folks. Bad people in a sense that they want to find something wrong, doing that is a boost to their career, that's the way things work in this world pretty much. You that are fostering the untimely death of our president might be bordering on real trouble. Haven't you ever heard that it is a federal offense to threaten the president? Not kill necessarily, just threaten his position and you can be locked away, forgotten about, forever.

I'd avoid getting too deeply down this path if I were you. In fact I'm not even sure I feel comfortable associating myself with these comments in the possibility that someone trying to boost their career might even consider me as joining into your fun and games. I know it's just talk but I believe it is dangerous talk -- for you, all of us. Hate the man if you will but don't start speaking about killing him -- that might be considered a threat. Especially the way things in our government seem to be moving where this kind of thing would be prime for their action -- give them reason to come knock on your door. Break it down more likely.

Think me odd or not understanding if you will but the impression I get (and I'm a believer that 9/11 was an inside job) is that some of you might be placing this entire forum in extreme danger. Lumped together, so to speak. Threat communicating. That kind of thing.

For you that might be reading (watching) -- understand please that I do not wish our president any harm. I do not agree with killing the man. Period.

we're discussing a movie that shows him being shot ... we're not saying we want him killed. up towards the top of this page you'll see how i stated that i DO NOT want him harmed. cuz yea ... that .. would be bad .. impeached .. absolutely ... killed ... hell no.

zootalures - October 4, 2006 01:09 PM (GMT)
There are more wicked witches in this joint than just Bush. Most of the people out to get him, just want his power and the perks the neo-cons have. Just like the neo-cons wanted the dems power when Clinton was blowing up buildings and setting little kids on fire in Waco, TX.

pr0mythius - October 4, 2006 01:16 PM (GMT)
hey .. i kinda resent that .. i'mma witch lol

but yes there is always someone to take the place of a fallen politician. such as this florida dude ... most all of the politicians in the "club" have commited horrendous acts in the past .. and they're all known by several people ... incase .. those are needed to be brought down. its like how you get in ... you gotta do shitty shit ... in order to get the power on that level ... that way they know they have you by the balls .. and you hafta do what they say.

JerryB9105 - October 4, 2006 01:36 PM (GMT)
Hey you two guys stick together don't you -- was just discussing something non-related to this string in another post with you two.

In this string, all I am saying to ANYONE that wants to join in -- be very careful what it is you say because these guys (the government, the Secret Service, the NSA -- these guys want REASONS to cause us trouble; we don't need to hand it to them, in otherwords.

Take a look at this (and consider it surely has been updated to include electronic means):
http://www.psychservices.psychiatryonline..../full/56/8/1017
The Threat Statute US Code Title 18, Part 1, Chapter 41, Sec. 871
"Whoever knowingly and willfully deposits for conveyance in the mail or for a delivery from any post office or by any letter carrier any letter, paper, writing, print, missive, or document containing any threat to take the life of, to kidnap, or to inflict bodily harm upon the President of the United States, the President-elect, the Vice President or other officer next in the order of succession to the office of President of the United States, or the Vice President-elect, or knowingly and willfully otherwise makes any such threat against the President, President-elect, Vice President or other officer next in the order of succession to the office of President, or Vice President-elect, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than five years, or both."

A The statutory fine associated with this Federal felony is capped at $250,000. The court conducts a balancing test to determine whether and what amount to impose as financial punishment in addition to any period of incarceration.

Just so we all know. Do you seriously THINK they will excuse any of this because the conversation is just movie talk. Maybe. But maybe not. The repeated use of "ANY" (above) sure leaves it wide open in my mind.

It's no different and no more exciting or productive than seeing a movie of Pinocchio being shot in my opinion.

The people that pull the strings and more importantly - the people that pay for the stage - now they deserve scrutiny.

2 cents.

Although I agree with the Cheney point, I also don't want Bush to be killed because it might make him look like some sort of martyr. That is the absolute last thing we need right now, the public sympathizing with the government.

Method - October 4, 2006 02:03 PM (GMT)
and yea, I definately want to see that movie.

pr0mythius - October 4, 2006 02:28 PM (GMT)
absolutely .. another good reason .. bush should live a long healthy life thinking about all the wicked things he's done.

and jerry .. i totally get what you're saying ... but for one .. i dont tend to "stick" with someone for any reasons besides sharing of opinion .. which is outta my hands .. i have my views .. not my fault it others fall the same way [cheers]

and yes i'm aware of that law ... but in reality .. we're talking about a movie that shows a story of fiction in which the president is shot. i'm sure millions of people have been talking about it ... and many have stated many things in a joking manor i'm sure of thier opinions of it. but when it comes to people that i am completely against ... i really wish none of them dead ... i wish them to live a good long time ... and to be constantly reminded of the grave mistakes they've made and the lives that they've effected. because death ... is too kind.
