Title: I Want Access To The Debate Forum
Description: [please :o) ]

skunkrider - September 2, 2006 03:58 PM (GMT)
I first asked Chucksheen, who said he's only admin (that was 2 weeks ago or so)
Then I asked Cary who continuosly advises me to solve my issues in the Debate forums, and when I asked him then to grant me access, he didn't even know that it needs extra access permissions to post there. He then advised me to contact any admin, like Chucksheen, which had been promoted recently, so I asked him to grant me access. He says he doesn't really know yet and needed to figure out.

Ok, guys, I am willing to become a better truther and only talk hard in the debate forums, if you let me. That's why i opened the thread.

Please, anybody :)

thank you [salute]

JerryB9105 - September 2, 2006 04:00 PM (GMT)
Send out an inquiry to JOHNDOEX -- He'll let you know what and how (if it's possible).

skunkrider - September 2, 2006 04:21 PM (GMT)
thanks, i'll give it a shot :)

Quezinox - September 2, 2006 04:42 PM (GMT)
Your good [cheers]

CrazyBlade - September 2, 2006 04:56 PM (GMT)
Actually it might be a good idea if we stickied this, so that anyone that wishes access to the Debate Forum can come here and state their case.

What do you guys think?

Kind Regards,

CrazyBlade

Cary - September 3, 2006 12:18 AM (GMT)
Pinned the mofo so others can request permission in the Debate Forum.

I'd grant it to whomever, but I don't have the authority.

Terry Zarzoff - September 3, 2006 08:11 AM (GMT)
So who DOES have the authority?

I've asked two mods now with no replies.

johndoeX - September 3, 2006 03:01 PM (GMT)
any admin

flyfish100 - September 3, 2006 04:01 PM (GMT)
You'd think the debate forum is in some place run by the VP. Some secret undisclosed location, using some sophisticated backdoor technology software. I also would like to know where indeed is this debate forum and what would you then call what we are having here if it is not a debate? Why not have it all out in the open for all to access, please. Is something being said that implies too much truth for open discussion or what is the criteria for quickly moving a thread behind closed doors? Thanks.

Its also on the main forum menu, last one in line before you get to the Research forum...just below the Alternate Theories forum... if you care to look.

Its also in the little drop down menu to the lower right... again, just below the alternate theories forum.

But since you havent seen the debate forum... i suppose you havent checked the forum rules either. Might be a good idea to do so before you start making assumptions.

johndoeX - September 3, 2006 04:40 PM (GMT)
For those who havent read the rules yet... this board is for research... not debate.

Its used to share information, not troll.

If you want to debate.. we have provided a place for debate for all to see.

However, to minimize trolls that frequent this site (which is abundant on a topic such as 9/11), all we ask is that you PM an admin to become a debate member to post in that forum.

We would like to keep the rest of the board as troll free as possible so that our members can share information freely.

Please review the stickys at the top of the debate forum before you ask an admin for posting access.

20 posts total and 2 topic starters are needed before given access. As soon as you get those.. PM me again and you got it...

[cheers] [salute]

standing*in - September 4, 2006 05:57 PM (GMT)
No worries - thanks :D

FirstCasualty - September 7, 2006 09:57 AM (GMT)
mod edit: please review the above posts prior to posting. You will find your answer above.

johndoeX - September 7, 2006 12:42 PM (GMT)
The debate forum can be read by ALL members. It is not hidden or in some secret backdoor location.

If you read the above post i made.. it points out the location of the Debate forum, and provides a link if you do not know how to navigate the forum menu.

Please read before you post. Thank you.

sorry it took me so long to get back to you. PM's are probably a better idea. Just PM any mod when they are on asking for permission. Just please make sure you meet the criteria before asking. 20 posts total and 2 topic starters. Please review al lthe Debate forum stickys prior to posting. Be well prepared for that forum.

oneisnotprime - September 11, 2006 10:24 PM (GMT)
Hello, I just joined. I am a 'skeptic' and your forum rules state "Skeptics, who follow the official story are asked to keep their discussions in the Debate section."

I would like to follow this rule, but according to this thread, I need to make 20 posts and start 2 threads before I can access the 'debate' section. Am I allowed to do this without violating the above rule? It's a bit of a catch 22. Thanks, Josh

johndoeX - September 12, 2006 03:30 PM (GMT)
Feel free to introduce yourself in the Welcome forum (theres 1 topic starter).

Then, start another topic with a question you have about the Loose Change or 9/11 in general. Browse the forums, ask questions on areas you are skeptical about and you'll have 20 posts in no time.. :)

PM an admin when you get there.. and we'll grant you access to post in the Debate forum.

Welcome to the Forums.
[cheers]

I have read some of the debates, you need a REAL debat forum to get the non beleivers in there, i have already been through a few real debates on otehr boards and it is totaly different going against a non truther.

My 2 cents:

Hi people,

Please read my thread on "freedom of speech my ass - promptly sent to the "under the bridge section" - where irrelavant info is sent and the "trolls" lurk - it will give you some insight on the bozos who claim to run this show. Apparently freedom of expression or an equal society are NOT on their agendas.

If it's so bad, why do you even come here? Totally illogical.

I would like access to the debate forum, please.

If you want more, I can provide it.

Dj Socker - September 15, 2006 03:12 PM (GMT)
It's a good idea the forum is but i recan the forum should only be veiwable to certain member groups, E.G if you hit 1000 posts you can veiw the forum and reply, what do you admins think?

I've added this feature on many of my other forums, I use invision free pluss :P and i use the paid perscription forums too.

masster - September 15, 2006 09:23 PM (GMT)
Hi,
I would like to have access to Debate area.
Please see http://s15.invisionfree.com/Loose_Change_F...showtopic=13976 topic that i started in Events section and that Cary had the courtesy of moving it to Debate.

I think I have a lot of first-hand experience in my country (Romania) for helping America raise for truth and justice.

Thanks.

Cary - September 15, 2006 09:50 PM (GMT)
I'm in favor of masster having Debate forum priviledges for whatever that's worth. He's a good man.

I haven't read your thread, but I agree that freedom of speech is not a priority for most admins here.

From my experience, a troll is someone that comes into a discussion with no intent of actually participating, but rather to cause annoyance to others.
You might also consider them attention seekers.
