Is Bush lying about his National Guard service?

Noone can prove that he actually fulfilled his required service or if he did or did not go AWOL. Documents that would prove or deny this is 'missing' and some of it was 'lost'.

Also note that Dan Rather, formerly an anchor from CBS News, ran a story on this on 60 Minutes, but his evidence was apparently found to be false (documents were forged, according to CBS) and he was subsequently asked to stand down from his position which he did some months after the story was aired.

Haven't done a whole lot of research on this, but I thought I might as well mention this before I forget

This story has been kicking around for years. Make up your own mind, but look at the GIF here to see the document compared to a Microsoft Word document with default settings:

No experts have gone on record confirming the authenticity of the documents, and several (listed here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rathergate) have cited them as forgeries. If you want to show that Bush skipped out on his ANG service, you'll need to find other proof.
