Breeding Rules

* Breeding season will be posted in the 'season' box to the left of the table at the top of the page. Your dragon may only breed when this box says breeding is allowed. This will usually be autumn or winter so the hatchlings are born in the spring.

* If your dragon and another dragon want to have offspring (obviously one must be male, the other female) they should post an application in the Breeding Application forum.

* Loners are free to breed if they wish (in breeding season!), but they must still post a breeding application. It is not really appropriate, however, to become a loner or join LK just to breed.

* In a clan, it's mainly the Lord pair who breed, but other dragons may ask permission from the Lords to breed too.

* Different accounts must be made for each Hatchling.

* The parents of the hatchlings may ask people in the forum to roleplay each hatchling, or they can roleplay them themselves.

* Color, gender, number etc. of offspring will be determined after you make your breeding application. The parents can choose the names if they desire, or you may like to give the name options to the people who are going to adopt and roleplay your character's offspring.

*For each clan in each season there will be a limit of 8 hatchlings total. That includes all the mates giving birth must compromise with their fellow peers so that everyone has a nice limit of hatchlings. If more then 8 hatchlings are born in a pack then some have to die.

*You CANNOT fight and mate at the same time. For instance, if one attends a serious fight then the hatchlings could die or be severely injured. It may also falter the development of the parent where he/she cannot produce correctly.

Mating

*Your dragons may mate without having hatchlings in any season, any time.

*Force Breeding is allowed but the owner of the character whom you wish to force breed with must give permission first!

*Please keep it fairly clean, though sexual content of mating is allowed you must have an Administrator approve of the act, and will keep an eye on the thread as to keep things under control. This is by no means a sex site or anything of the sort. Any acts of such intent you will be permanently banned with no questions asked.

*Before mating please inform us on the top of the page in "OOC:" with a warning because mating can be offensive to some - this way, those who don't wish to read it have fair warning.
