Because the other one was closed...
So Ugly Betty is airing here on Monday. I know it's based on some other show. Holland made a version of it too, which totally sucked and wasn't funny at all... So is Ugly Betty worth watching? Anyone? Thanks! |

Ugly Betty is based on a Colombian soap opera. I watched it and loved it.
But the truth is that I watched a couple of eppys of "Ugly Betty" and I didnt get hooked.  People rave on how good it is. But I just dont see it. But that's just my opinion.  |

Ok, thanks! I saw a few previews of it, and it was much better than the Dutch version, so I think I'll try it anyway. Too bad they didn't air the Colombian version here...

I love Ugly Betty... i think it's hysterical and that the characters cover the entire spectrum of personalities.... I think you'll enjoy it M... you'll like the music too... i think....

No, I'm not Colombian. I'm Puertorican. I guess you should try and watch it. It does have it's funny parts. But I guess I'm just too in-love with the original. And my classes got in the way and I missed many episodes. |

Agree on Men in Trees! And it's filmed in Vancouver!@ It's one of those shows you really need to catch from episode one to get into or you're lost and the interactions between characters may not make sense. |

That isn't really a tv show question, but Surfergirl, if you pass by this thread, could you tell me if you've ever been filmed while you were in uni in September of 2006? I've just seen a report about French students who decide to study in Belgium, and I could swear I've seen you in it

have any of you watched gossip girl? it's about rich teenagers that live in the upper east side of nyc? i watched the pilot the last week. i thought it was pretty good.
