The Nether Realms This is the land of the gods, where each commands his or her own little piece of their world and shapes it to their whim. A god's power is nearly absolute in his or her chosen land.

Seph: The Jewel of the North Seph is the great capital city of Sephia, named for its founder and greatest ruler this city dominates the surrounding continent with unquestionable authority...until its king passed away. Surrounded by a swift river on three sides, it is nigh impregnable to external threats. The internal threats, however, fester within.

Rennor The Rennor is the surrounding countryside, mostly extremely fertile farmlands dotted with the occasional forest, meadow, and castle. This is Sephia's heartland, where most of its agriculture and manpower is raised and destroyed in the battles of succession.

Ferra Ferra, a fortress city, was once the capital of Sephia until the First Great Civil War when King Seph I first took power and founded the city of Seph. Now it is in partial ruin, having already been in decline since the First War, nevertheless it is thought to be the third biggest city in the world even with parts of it now deserted. A great force of arms is maintained here both to defend against invasion and add viability to claims on the Crown.

Artanis Artanis is the great port of Rennor, but it itself is an independent city ruled by a half-elven duke. The duke's race is as much practical as it is symbolic, since Artanis is perhaps the most multi-cultural city in the world, boasting the second largest elven population besides Linariel itself. Relations with Sephia itself are murky, and The Artanic Fleet has maintained the cities' independence on more then one occasion.

Nahl Sister city of the distant Tahl, Nahl was only recently captured by the armies of Sephia. It was once a stronghold for scum and villany that all of the nefarious fled to in order to escape from Sephian justice. The Sephian Siege killed many inhabitants however, and more still left by whatever means they could, freeing the once overcrowded city of much squalor. It now stands as a 'questionably lawful' port at best. Although a strong garrison is maintained it is too far removed from the majority of the city to have a large impact.

Linariel: The Elven City The new capital of the elves after they departed from Rennor thousands of years ago, it is an emerald in the endless forests of Lhovanion, a city of fine architecture and the pinnacle of arcane knowledge, boasting many schools and masters. Elven power may be on the wane, but in their corner of the forest it is absolute.

Brightwood The northern part of Lhovanion, a place distinctly touched by elven magic. It is known as a peaceful, quiet place, a paradise in the middle of a turbulent and painful world. Few bandits trouble its woods, and many homesteads and villages can be found along its sparsely used roads.

Darkwood Darkwood is the southern half of Lhovanion, and it stands in stark contrast to its northern brother, Brightwood. A certain evil has crept into the forest's eaves, and its woods are crowded with many evil things that lurk in night's cloak. Almost all settlements outside of the fortified village of Brenil has been destroyed or lost, and the forest is perilous to travel in. Passer's-through must attempt to cross to Brenil between Dawn and Dusk and quickly move on the next morning, for not even the road is safe after dark.

Brenil The last bastion of hope in Darkwood, Brenil is a village turned fortress that lives on borrowed time. Its people are not numerous, but they are strong and moderately well equipped to deal with the multitude of monsters that inhabit the literally hundreds of miles around them. Some say that if Brenil falls then the darkness inhabiting the rest of Darkwood will spread to nearby Brightwood and threaten all in Lhovanion. Whatever the case, it has proved a galvanizing force to the inhabitants, to who's minds race and religion mean nothing - only survival. Behind their tall wooden palisade and unceasing vigilance the town remains unharmed, but for how long?

Axum: The City of the Sands Axum is the seat of Marobi's one great native civilization, home to a human race of snake worshippers that pay homage to the dark god Setis. A homage which they fulfill with zeal. While not the most populous or richest city in the world, it is one with a hardy people, used to the terrible deserts of Marobi. The city itself is divided into two sections, the 'Inner' and the 'Outer'. The Inner crawls with snakes, and only the natives and their slaves may enter. The 'Outer', the smaller of the two, is a band around the edge of the city where all of the foreigners stay. Trespassing further is done only on pain of death.

Tahl: City of the Corsairs Tahl is the Artanis of Marobi, except a twisted parody. It is a dirty seaport filled with all manner of debauchery and decadence. However, that said it has recently allied itself with the people of Axum, joining their crowns together as one under a High King. This means Sephia finds a unified and hostile front to their east, since many of Tahl's residents are exiles from it's sister city of Nahl, that the Sephian's captured not long ago.

Jinn The Endless desert that dominates 95% of Marobi's landmass, Jinn is a true terror of nature: Water is scarce here, and hospitality scarcer. Still, such harsh conditions breeds a harsh and strong people.

Necrom: The Black City Necrom is an ancient city, and very few know of its true origins. Still, it is a powerful city, the greatest of all The Dark Kingdoms. Ruled by a Dark Elven queen from her citadel in the cities' center the vast majority of its denizens are oppressed and in poverty while she lives a life of extreme decadence. Dark Elves form the ruling caste, with wizards and powerful creatures like vampires in the upper class. Other Elves, Fae, and Humans are left to fill in the slums.

Narada The frozen wastes of Narada encompass most of Anach's southern reaches, falling down in a steep slope from the edges of Darkwood. An otherworldly chill sets in as soon as you leave those accursed eaves. There are many petty princelings scattered about the tundra, though most are lords of only a few people and endless quantities of snow. Lawlessness is rampant, and few purses remain heavy for long.

The Black Citadel It is from this mighty tower that perhaps one of the most nefarious and malevolent beings still counted mortal controls his dominions. Iskander the Accursed, The Lich King established himself here, creating a castle of death - literally. Only small bands of rebels and the occasional distant village still evade the dominion of this mighty fortress.

The Plaguelands Bounded by the Endless Ocean at the west, and the Icy Mountains to the east, this is a secluded land. It composes about one seventh of all The Dark Kingdoms but the lowest population of any other region...unless you count the undead. This is their land, and it is by far the harshest place to live, and very few do so. Those that do quickly fall prey to the influence of The Lich King.

Turnc Mountains Whether from the mystical relic in the Tower or magic themselves, the Turnc mountains separate the citadel from the perilous magical storms left over from the devastating battle centuries ago. Tall, dark and imposing, the storms never cross the mountains into the protected valley. Four trails go through the dangerous range, one to the North, one to the East and so on. Stick close to beaten path or you'll be easy prey for the many beasts that inhabit the desolate Turnc Mountains.

The Tower of Hram Sursa Named after the first priestess who led the Mord’Draken in the battle that ended the Great War and secured the one of the sacred artifacts for the gods. the Tower of Hram Sursa resides in the center of the capital. Imposing in stature, Hram Sursa's main tower is the tallest point in Fara Iesire, with six shorter towers surrounding it and all connected with long parapets. Inside these towers hold the Order of the Dai’Salis and many untold secrets of powerful sorcery. Anyone is permitted to enter, but access to more restricted wings is strictly limited.

Armonié The capital of Fara Iesire, where the elite Mor’Du’Kai train. The second largest structure, its located around Hram Sursa with the last wall of the city expanding out from it’s sides to surround the tower. The actual interior of the main city, between the citadel and the massive outer wall are full of local businesses, homes and forms of entertainment. The city is peaceful, clean and has little to no crime. Outside the city's walls, surrounding farmland stretches out for miles around, littered with roads and crops and lakes. Between the last stretch of acreage and the Turnc mountains, are nearly two miles of forest, where all sorts of creatures, malevolent and benign, dwell.
