[Cauwyn]

“If we can not find the artifact, then we must ensure it can not be used,” Reist said in a somber, dark tone, “Even if that means ensuring there is no one left to use it.. If you‘d read your scriptures Mayson, you would know of the pact made.”

[Avena]

"It seems all ridiculous now.."

[Cauwyn]

“Ridiculous? It was the sovereign pact made between Magus Susra and the God’s servants! That if the artifact was ever stolen, then we would reclaim it… or ensure it was never used.”

[Avena]

"Just as I said ridiculous...all of you have become consumed by protecting this artifact..."

[Cauwyn]

“It’s the reason for our existence Mayson!” Reist tried to stand and articulate with his hands his bewilderment at his brother, but hind bindings didn’t budge, “It’s why we were created! To end their war and then to protect the Gods relic!”

[Avena]

"But because of it you're declaring war on a country that has done nothing wrong! The God's condone this? That doesn't make sense! If they hated this country why keep it around?"

[Cauwyn]

“It’s not about this country Mayson, or the next. It’s about the artifact and doing whatever it takes to get it back!”

[Avena]

"We'll work with you to get it back then! Take us up on the offer and stop killing people!"

[Cauwyn]

“It’s. Not. My. Call, Mayson. It is the will of the Gods. These were their instructions to us in the event that the artifact should be stolen, delivered to Magus Susra after they granted her a life long enough to keep it safe by two servants of the Gods!” Reist sighed, shaking his head in frustration as he leaned back against the wall, “I don’t see why you don’t understand.. But then again, I don’t see why you betrayed your own people either..”

[Avena]

"They betrayed me first," he frowned and stood, "Maybe you'll be in a better more aggreable mood tomorrow."

[Cauwyn]

“With luck and the gods will, I’ll be gone.” Reist smiled deviously.

[Avena]

Mayson sighed as he stepped out of the tent relieved to see that there were some guards. Though he knew that they wouldn't last a second against his brother.

[Cauwyn]

Reist sighed and settled in, watching the door closely. He would only need one person with a weapon to get close enough and he’d be free again. His chest ached from within, being separated from his sword. He could feel it, feel the blade calling to him and it was starting to irritate him at it’s absence.

[Avena]

Unfortunatly for him Mayson had warned everyone about Reist and he was left alone all night.
