A broad range of stores for you to come up with. Stores can range from grocery stores to large complicated department stores. It can go to little boutiques as well. Be creative and let your heart roam with whatever you'd like. Your character can be shopping anywhere in this US! Run free with places you'd like to see them in, be it stealing, or trying to keep with order.

CURSE ALL THESE BODILY NEEDS
restaurants and food courts. people need to stop to scavenge for food once in the midst of all this chaos. most people will be trying to have a real sit down meal, though, no one is probably working any of the restaurants. maybe there are a few restaurants still open for actual business. some might be deserted and broken down. there might be more luck in the canned food area in the grocery store, though.

WHAT OF THESE PUBLIC PLACES
the public area is vast! your character could be sitting at the steps of a random post office. maybe they're roaming a large corporate building. or what about the hospital? or a jail cell? the cops and doctors are working overtime with all these problems. is your character trying to redeem themselves at a place of worship? maybe it's too late for that. why not show up in a strip club at some place downtown? there's always fun there.

CRACKED RESIDENTIAL HOMES
places where people should feel safe in. homes are still pretty safe. some have been abandoned after the natural disasters. most are still hanging about with families trying to figure out what to do with all this. the public basically tries to stay home as much as possible. who knows what kind of dangers lurk outside? radical weather is sure to attempt to blow homes and families apart.

Any kind of attraction you can think of. Station your character in a zoo, an amusement park, or even a museum. there are so many places in the states your character can find themselves in. maybe they're in a deserted area? maybe there's a load of people trying to mob their way in, looking for free things. everything is up for grabs, everything is in your hands.

Places of nature. A national forest? A little park in neighborhood? Are you deep in the middle of a peaceful meadow? Or are the meadows littered with party goers? Let's sing some campfire songs. Whatever it may be, anything with nature can be threaded here. even though going back to nature should seem more quiet and hectic, there are animals that are waiting to strike.

THE WATERS ARE ALIVE
Any sort of body of water. Rivers. Lakes. Oceans. Our waters are fairly dangerous. Great bodies of water have been reported to have random whirlpools out of nowhere. Are you taking a nice boat ride across somewhere? What dangers could be lurking near by? Sharks have been known to linger closer to bay than they usually would. Are the waters even more dangerous now then ever?

times square, the statue of liberty, the empire state building in nyc. the golden gate bridge in san fran. the las vegas strip. the sears tower in chicago. the possibilities are endless for you! as long as there is a place in the states, you can be there!
