So I have a guy in Oleg Kvasha, who hasn't played any games in the LNHL this season but also has only played one game in the AHL. However, he's been down in the farm the whole season. Would he count as a exceptional player or is he not eligible to play?

if he spent the whole year in the AHL then he would be considered an AHL farmhand and therefore not even need to be an exception player.
******** PLAYER ELIGABILITY RULES *********** (these are the only exceptions to rules #3) 1. Players that have been on the farm all year and have not played in the pro, but have not played in the LNHL, are acceptable. Remember this is only for guys who spent the FULL season in the AHL. There is no reason an AHL backup/benchwarmer can't play in the postseason if you want him too. |

I have Taffe with 20 games on Detroit but 52 with farm and Guthrie who has 37 in the bigs and 36 on farm. I believe Taffe is naturally exempt (no?), and that Guthrie is my best bet.
Where are the rules posted? |
