Some points to note:
1) LA - David, some of your players rejected the contract offers so you will need to check those.
2) NYR - John, I didn't offer contracts to your upcoming UFA incase you wanted to send in offers rather than sign them all to defaults.
3) Please make sure you post those players you want to decline a team option in the approriate thread.
4) I will make the next sim on Tuesday to give a gm's a chance to send in instructions and also to post in the activity thread.

| Off-season Sim Schedule |

OK guys. I want to give it a few days to see who responds to the activity check so we know who is around and what teams we need to fill.
This is what I have in mind for the upcoming week. I will post a preseason schedule later once we see if we are keeping to schedule. This is my first offseason as a commish so if any experienced GM's have a better idea of how the offseason should run please let me know.
Friday sim - I will enter the draft & trades.
Sunday sim - Sim up to 25 June - sign your potential POT boosters and Team Options will be done.
Tuesday sim - Sim into the season turnover - make sure all your players are signed &then UFA will begin.

Guys, I sent in an email to the league email with instructions on how to upload stuff to my site. I set up http://lnhl.red-eagle.ca to be used for this league over a week ago. The webpage itself has no content, and is missing the banners, but with help we can get that site up and running to be like the old site. This would eliminate having to upload files to those sharing sites. Let me know whether or not we're going to use this so I can know to work on it when I get back from camping next week, or if I should remove the configuration for it from my server. |

OK guys we need to decide whether we want this great league to continue or not. We only have 20 GM's currently managing teams and activity has been well down for the whole of the season. We have already cancelled the AHL playoffs due to no interest.
With Gravy overseas until about October & Cappy going away until end of August it basically leaves me and Jake to run this place. Jake is very busy himself and hasn't been around very much either.
I'm still very committed to keeping the league going but will only put in the effort if people want to continue. If we do continue I will need someone to help me out with commish duties so if you have time and would like to join the commish team then send me a pm.
As indicated in a previous, Kings GM is unable to conitue with his Friday sim so I will take over that sim which due to the time differen ...read more |
