The first day of school had never been a favorite among the teenagers that attended Kristophs, well, for most at least. For some it meant getting away from controlling parents, for others it just meant getting away in general, but for most, the school was a hell hole. At home, most of the rich fuckers could get away with everything, but that sort of shit didn't fly here, most of the time at least. Vincent Caruso had learned that the hard way, and he was back, for yet another year. His fifth year to be exact. The joys of failing your senior year. He probably wouldn't have bothered coming back if it hadn't been for his mother, and he actually wanted to go somewhere with his life, one day. Just maybe graduating would be a smart idea. He just wished he had thought of that back when he should have graduated. Oh well.

Sighing, Vincent fell back onto a freshly made bed, that probably wasn't even his own, fuck if he knew what dorm he was in. It was empty and he didn't really care otherwise. Tugging a cigarette from behind his ear Vince lit the tobacco filled paper, inhaling the poisonous vapors deep into his lungs, savoring the burn that it caused. Letting the Clove dangle from between his lips, he took in a deep breath of the sweetly scented smoke, his eyes falling shut as he dragged his hand against the exposed skin of his stomach. Hell, he was bored, and he didn't want to be here, like most of the other kids that lined the halls these days. Fuck the system, isn't that what they always said? Yeah, fuck the system.

Taking the clove from between his lips, Vince flicked the ash away, not caring if it burned into the carpet or the sheets. They weren't his, so why would he care? It's not as if he would have to pay for new ones, after all. And even if they had been his own, he probably wouldn't have cared that much about it. Oh the joys of having nothing to do. Fuck. Sighing once more, Vincent placed the cigarette back between his lips, taking in another drag as he brushed his hair from his gray eyes, staring up at the ceiling. Maybe if he was lucky he would find some neat shape that would trip him out, and he would be entertained for a while. But that was unlikely. As was being entertained in a place like this. What a bore.

Having shoved everything he could carry into his bags before being lead to the car, Noah Braxtons bag was rather heavy. He could have had his driver escort him to his room, but its was his first year, and even though it was year four and no one really cared, he didn't feel like drawing any more attnetion to himself then was needed. Which was none, as far as Noah was concerned. He was already looking around knowing he wasn't going to fit it. It was obvious, from the metal in his face to the way his hair wasn't falt down or spiked like Ryan Cabrerra. Fuck spelling, I'm special needs. The way he was dressed wasn't exactly the norm either, and his thin body comparable to that of a girl who had yet to hit puberty. No, he wasn't bad looking, but he was willowy, not very tall, and the drugs really didn't help his teeth.

Most kids, he knew, were fine with the street drugs that were cheap and did hardly any damage. It had started like that for him too, only Noah had graduated to cocaine. Thats why he was here. No more getting away with shit, it was a crackdown now. He hauled his bag over his shoulder, and his eyes traced a mao in his hand. He finally found a dorm he supposed was his, and the door was already open. He groaned, hoping to god he didn't have some slob. Okay, he was a drug addict, and he was shy, but the kid was used to living a certain way. Besides not having a room the sixe of NYC anymore, he had to ugh.... share. He wasn't snotty, but he didn't like the thought of some stranger watching him sleep either. As he entered, he saw a face he vaugly recognized, nodded to the other boy, and proceeded to dump everything on his bed. Then he turned back, tugged at the hem of his shirt, and cleared his throat.
"I'm Noah, Noah Braxton" he said gently.

Vincent didn't bother getting up as another figure entered the room, simply taking another drag of his Clove and continuing to stare up at the ceiling, sure the had found some sort of animal figure in it. But it was lost, his eyes distracted by bags being dumped onto the opposite bed, the search for whatever animal became non-existent as soon as his eyes settled on the figure that had dropped the bags. The boy was familiar, but not enough for Vincent to really be interested in where he had seen the other before. It didn't really matter too much, after all.

Sitting up, Vince ruffled the back of his hair a bit, taking one last drag of his cigarette before putting it out on the nightstand next to the bed he had claimed as his. "Vincent, Vincent Caruso." He introduced himself as he propped his left foot up onto his left knee. "And I really don't know if this is my room, but if it is, I guess it's nice to meet you, roommate." He gave a small smile and shrugged. It probably would end up being his room, even if he hadn't been assigned here. He would most likely just tell the next kid that came in here that he had been assigned to a different room and leave it at that. Hell, Vince wouldn't mind staying here if Noah was going to be his roommate. The other male was attractive, after all and Vince could see himself getting along with him.

"First year here?" Vincent raised a brow, he didn't remember seeing Noah here last year, and Vince was pretty good about knowing almost everyone, simply because he enjoyed the attention. "I don't remember seeing you here last year... Though you are sort of familiar..." He trailed off, and shrugged, picking at the inseam of his jeans idly as he waited for an answer.

Noah nodded as he announced his name and smirked softly as he put it out on property that was obviously not his. "Yes, first year indeed." he said gently, and brushed the hair from his eyes. He shrugged, and sat back down on the bed. His movements were fluid and feline, always had been. STFU the boy was a dancer, and you're jealous.
"You recognize me from last year, you were friends with my cousin; but he was an idiot and got kicked out rather quickly." he stated simply, picking at a loose thread with slender fingers. He looked up at the boy on the other side of the room from under his thick lashes,
"Well, in any case, it is my pleasure to meet you. I can think of few other people I've seen so far in my time here that I would rather, bunk with, as you call it." his commented, airly. It had an airy qaulity to it, almost musical. He didn't mean to sound condecending or snotty, but he'd been brought up to speak properly.

Vincent gave a soft snort, shaking his head a bit."That makes sense actually. He wasn't the smartest one of the bunch." He smiled lightly, "I'm surprised they took me back, to be honest, but whatever. I can't help the fact that everyone loves me." He scoffed, only half teasing. People did tend to be attracted to him like moths to a light, but whatever, Vincent liked the attention, as always, so he wasn't about to complain.

Vince wasn't really surprised by the way the other spoke. Most of the kids here spoke that way, simply because it was how he was raised. He was sure that he would have spoken that way if his mother had been half way normal, instead, he was stuck with more of a California surfer accent... Without sounding so stupid. Oh the joys of having hippie parents. Pulling out yet another cigarette, Vincent light it quickly, taking in a drag before holding the pack out to Noah in an offering. Vince figured that if he was going to be rooming with someone, it was smart to at least come off as kind.

It wasn't as if Vince was very mean, but he did tend to come off as a bit of an asshole a lot of the time. "It's really not so bad here if you know how to get around the rules. And it's pretty easy to sneak out." He shrugged. Vincent actually loved it here most of the time. Parties going on in dorms, sneaking around, casual sex, drugs, drinking. What more could a guy want?

Noah merely smiled demurely, and shook his head softly. "Funding is based on enrollment. It wouldn't look good or be very beneficial to start expelling kids; the lot of us are slackers anyway, as far as I know." he offered a smile to let the othe boy know he wasn't trying to be a know it all, and when he was offered and cigarette, he waved his hand, saying thank you but no, under his breath.
"Oh, I quite intend to enjoy my stay here. I see no reason that the facilty need worry about going-ons that they... well, don't know about." he smirked, and let his thin frame collapse onto the bed. There were many things Noah did which were less then legal, but he wasn't about to be an idiot and tell everyone he met.

"Well, it seems that funding on enrollment is rather beneficial to the kids like me and you, then, doesn't it?" He raised a brow and smiled before taking a long drag of his cigarette and laying back down on the bed, flicking a bit of ash off to the side, hoping it didn't burn the carpet or anything. As exciting as it might have been, Vincent didn't really want to start a fire his fist day here. No thanks, he was already in enough shit with the staff as it was.

"It's actually my fifth year here." He gave a small chuckle, shrugging lightly before dropping the subject of school, and moving on to something better, much, much better. "So, there's this party tonight, out in town... " Vincent paused to puff from his cancer stick. "Figured you might be interested. No one really wants to stay stuck in a dorm all night." He rolled his head over to the side so that he could see Noah. "I'm sure it'll be worth while, in the end. If I can manage to still be drunk for class tomorrow, I'll be a happy camper."

Noah watched him flick the ash, and watched the carpet for a moment, before shaking his head and coming back to reality, He smirked softly at the mention of a party. "Hmm, I'm not a big party person. I have my own forms of enjoyment." he nodded, staring off into space. he gazed at Vincent, and shrugged,. "But, I suppose as its my first night, I should do something other then mope around." he grinned, agreeing to go to the party. Really, he would have been content to stay home and snort a few lines, but he didn't know how Vincent would take him being a hard drug addict. Better to just go along with things.
"I won't know anyone, besides you." he said, just stating it as the fact it was. 'If you're drunk tomorrow, don't you think they'll notice? They're not that slow."

Vincent grinned, shrugging a bit. "I've done it before, and they still haven't kicked me out. So what if I get a few detentions, I'd say it's well worth it. Not only is it entertaining to me, but to everyone else, after all, I'm only here to entertain, am I not?" He raised a brow. Vince didn't really see another reason to be here, he could just go get his GED but hell, he could survive another year of this bullshit if he really wanted to.

Vince wasn't really into the hard drugs, not for himself at least, he had never even put an over the counter drug into his body, but weed. He would do that, quite happily, actually. He didn't mind being around other people who did hard drugs, he was just content sticking to his own, earth grown substances. Maybe he'd try shrooms one of these days... They were natural after all. If they had been grown to eat then why not eat them, right?

"Well, I mean, we could always throw our own party here. Just you and me." He shrugged. Vince was pretty sure that he had stashed away some Everclear into his suitcase before he left, and with enough of that and some music, it would probably be just as fun. "Whatever you feel like though."
