This site is based off of the T.V. series THE WALKING DEAD. The Walking Dead was originally created by writer Robert Kirkman and was published by Image Comics. All original characters belong to their respective owners.
registration
When registering please register with your characters FIRST NAME MIDDLE INITIAL.and LAST NAME in all caps.(Example: HARRY J. POTTER) If you make a mistake then let one of the Admins know and we will fix it, but please don't make a habit of it.
reservation
Now with reserving a canon or a play by you will have a week to complete the application otherwise your reservation will be canceled. You can reserve up to two play bys at a time. Do keep in mind to not take all the more popular play bys, leave some for other people, second. Though when reserving a canon you may only reserve one at a time, so other people have a fair chance in reserving more of the popular ones.
characters
We don't have a character limit here, but please we advise you to not bite off more then you can chew. Also don't confine yourself to one user group or one gender, that's never fun. For example don't have 3 rogues and only 1 military character.
word count
There is a 150 word count minimum in posts. Though more is always appreciated. Please try to match the post size of the person, or persons, you are role playing with. If their post is 350 words, shoot for at least 300.
posting
This is the real world. Swearing does happen. Though we'd appreciate if it wasn't an every other word thing. Please remember to stay in character, especially if you're playing a canon character. Use proper grammar and spelling, not text lingo. And most importantly, please post. DO NOT POST ANYTHING UNTIL YOU ARE ACCEPTED.
activity
Activity is very very important people. It's what keeps a site running, so please do not post an application get accepted and then never come back. It's rude, and honestly a waste of our time. And if you do have to go somewhere or have to be away for a while drop us a post in the Member Notices Board.
ic and ooc
In-character drama stays in character. And out of character drama stays out of character. There really shouldn't be out of character drama in the first place but if this does happen please; a) keep it out of rp; B ) take it somewhere else.
graphics
Obviously do not stretch our board, if you do we'll give you a warning. If the graphic has not been modified then we will take it down. It's that simple. Avatars are required and we ask that you make them 200x330. If you are unable to make graphics then we have a lovely section where you can request someone to make you one. Signatures are not required but you are more then welcome to have them. If you do they can be no more 400 pixels, if they are more then it will stretch the board.
credit
We cannot stress enough how important giving the proper credit is. If someone makes you a graphic or something else give them the credit unless they say you don't have to. We will not tolerate someone claiming something as their own when it clearly is not theirs. Doing so can result in you getting banned. And we have a section where you can post the credit, so no excuses.
