Dex: Minize are childlike, endearing creatures that seem to have endless curiosity. Their natural habitat is long since unknown - the species is so wide-spread that scientists have found it hard to find the originators of the species. They can be found in forests or jungles, in plains, anywhere where there are humans to be found and anywhere where there aren't, either. The few places they avoid are those that are too cold for them to survive, or bodies of water too large for them to simply cross.

Due to their smallish, cute appearance, Minize have become quite popular pets among children. This is largely regretful; Minize feed off of energy sources, whether that be electrical appliances or, if that can't be found, the electricity stored in living bodies. Not only that, but upon evolution they become nearly uncontrollable and huge to boot, so the only solution is often abandonment.

As they are so young, most Minize make bad parents. They lay their eggs without thought for the hatchlings, not having the capacity to realize what they're doing. There are few minize who reach adulthood before evolution. They take notice to lay their eggs next to an energy source (a power plant for many eggs or one near a computer), but they don't take care of them afterwards.

Dex: Thorike lose their child-like nature, instead growing a focused attitude, with that focus being usually on one thing. They are not the most intelligent of species and usually lack the ability to think ahead, or think in general; their actions are guided more by simple instinct, and thus they tend to be quite dangerous.

They use the large horn on their nose as a lightning rod, with which they can sense nearby electrical currents. Most of their life is spent chasing thunderstorms and being struck by lightning, then using that energy to chase other thunderstorms. They don't waste time over smaller sources of energy like minize do unless they're starving.

They make remarkably good parents; the mother lays her eggs on her own back and, when her eggs hatch, they remain on her back until their first lightning strike.
