Appearance
When it comes to appearance, Lucian doesn’t tend to stand out. He is slightly taller than average with a height of exactly six feet with a weight ratio even to his mass. He has pale white skin and a rather lanky-like build. His head is covered with beautiful dark brown hair with the bangs slightly parted in the front and brilliant violet-red eyes that sit behind thick-rimmed glasses. A single thin scar slashes through his left eye, yet doesn’t seem to take away from his unusually handsome face. Lucian is known for his signature smile; a calm, placid lift of the cheeks which seems to hide a darker intent behind it. His clothes are rather unorthodox for someone of his caliber. He dresses more formal and upper-class than many would expect. Lucian’s usually attire consists of a white button-up dress shirt tucked into formal black slacks which are held tightly to his waist with a black belt. A formal black coat is worn over top of his shirt, a black tie with dull crimson stripes wraps around his collar, and black dress shoes and socks adorn his feet.

Personality
Lucian carries many of the personality traits that most people affiliate with snakes. He's cunning, deceptive, sneaky, patient, intimidating, and emotionless. He has a taste for playing mind games with people; manipulating the weak, exploiting buried fears in an individual, and even verbally bullying an enemy until they blindly rush at him in fits of anger and rage to give him the upper hand in battle. He's a sadistic and deranged sociopath who loves power and control over all else. Naturally, Lucian is actually a quiet individual who analyzes everything and everyone around him. He calculates percentages and weighs his options before making his move. Lucian is known for his intimidating ‘poker face’; no matter what emotion he may be feeling, he always has the same placid calm expression adorned with a simple smile. He has given in to extreme fits of rage or disappointment, but for the most part Lucian’s face is stagnant. Despite the apparent evil in his heart, Lucian always seems in a pleasant and upbeat mood and tends to execute dark actions with a hearty laugh.

History
There have always been assassins in the world; shadowy individuals who snuffed out the lives of others for some higher purpose. Rumors have circulated across the land for centuries about a specific organization whose sole purpose was to kill for profit. Many events throughout history have pointed to the existence of such a group, including the mysterious deaths of famous politicians and decorated military officers alike. Their members were ordinary people; policemen, noisy neighbors, and gym leaders had been a part of their ranks at one point or another. They were an international phenomenon and killed anyone without debate when paid. Having small sectors spread across the globe allowed them to perform any job at any location for various sums of money. Eluding the law on secrecy, bribes, and tying up loose ends was a hobby of theirs and a reason why they have existed for nearly centuries. Though no one who has even seen a member of this group has ever lived to tell the tale, people always manage to find information one way or another. They are respected, they are feared, and they are the staple to many criminal organizations today.

They…are The Brotherhood.

Hiru Yukimora was the head of the Johto sector for The Brotherhood. They were stationed amongst the many outcroppings of caves making up the Whirlpool Islands off the coast of Cianwood City. Here was where the family of assassins congregated in fellowship. Here was where initiates proved themselves to rank within the organization. Here was where newborns were conceived into The Brotherhood and accepted as dark gifts from Darkrai itself. Lucian Yukimora was one such gift. The Brotherhood was home to both men and women alike, but Lucian’s mother was apparently an insignificant person who was killed shortly after Lucian was born. He never knew his mother, but he never mourned her death. Assassins shed no tears for those who were embraced by Darkrai’s loving arms. Even if Lucian were to miss his mother, his father’s harsh training would never allow him to show it. He was the faction head’s son, after all. His childhood was nearly nonexistent; he spent his time learning the art of stealth and killing from the moment he had a voice in his throat and a step in his foot. His body was constantly pushed to the breaking point and he had come face to face with death more times than most children should.

His father, though harsh in training, cared deeply for Lucian in his own dark way. He would tell his son stories of the great assassins of old and the impossible feats they accomplished. He felt that Lucian was destined to be one of these legendary murderers and explained that this was the reason he pushed his son so hard. As time passed, Lucian came to accept his father’s methods as necessary and loved him from the effort he put into Lucian’s training. He became everything his father hoped he could be and more; Lucian’s assassin skills were unparalleled within the Johto sect. However, not everyone in The Brotherhood was pleased with his continued success. Lucian had garnered many envious rivals within his family who plotted his demise from the shadows. The attack against his honor was swift and would forever cast a shadow on his life; his enemies slew his own father and framed Lucian for the betrayal. Slaying a member of The Brotherhood was a treacherous and unjustifiable crime. He was unable to do anything but flee his home and try to discover the true traitors’ identities. Hiru was not the type of assassin to be taken down lightly and must’ve truly trusted his killers. Knowing he would never be safe in Johto, Lucian settled in Hoenn and began to investigate the situation under the guise of a Hoenn Sect assassin named Ghost.

He performed contracts for The Brotherhood while dedicating his spare time to researching every Johto Sect assassin that had close relations with his father. Over a year would pass before Lucian would discover any information vital to his search. He discovered that a small group of Johto Sect assassins mysteriously disappeared shortly after the death of his father and hadn’t been heard from since. Lucian studied their files for months to learn everything about these individuals before seeking them out. They were last seen at the port outside of Olivine City, which meant they most likely escaped to Kanto and were lying low. Lucian arrived in Vermillion City and began asking around for any information on the traitors, but people were reluctant to speak of them. It took Lucian many months of following vague rumors and clues before finally tracking them all the way back to Hoenn. It turns out they had been looking for him in order to tie up their loose end. Lucian killed them but not before suffering extreme injuries and attracting the attention of The Brotherhood. He was brought back to the Johto Sect to be executed for betrayal against the organization and didn’t even attempt to fight his punishment. Making peace with himself and accepting his fate, Lucian prepared to die and meet his father again when the impossible occurred.

Cloaked figures appeared seemingly out of nowhere and began to slaughter the Johto Sect assassins one by one. Lucian watched as his former family were killed in front of his very eyes. With the dark cleansing ended, the mysterious individuals turned their attention to Lucian. He figured they were simply going to finish him as well, but that was not the case. The shrouded killers disappeared into the shadows without words and left him alone in the cavern. Lucian was left to wonder why he was spared from the purging of his fellow assassins. He didn’t know where to take his life from that point forward and was left with no direction. Returning to Hoenn, Lucian had soon immersed himself in the black tide of the criminal underground. He wandered the region with no purpose behind his stride; he performed crimes for the simple entertainment they seemed to provide him. Nothing ever seemed permanent with him, though. He had become a drifter; numb to the outside world and unable to understand his own existence. Throughout the following years, he had run into some rather interesting people, but he always kept them at arm’s length; he found himself nearly incapable of trusting people. The world had become a monotone thing to Lucian and he gave up on discovering the identity of those cloaked figures that had saved his life without a reason for why they did so.

Then one day Lucian received an anonymous letter summoning him to a far away place known as Kutho. The mysterious invitation held no clues to who wrote it besides very professional handwriting, but promised an explanation upon his arrival. His thoughts immediately returned to the night of his execution and he wondered if this had anything to do with those ominous individuals. Being more curious than anything else, Lucian gathered his belongings and decided to see just what this person could offer him that the rest of the world could not.

The whole thing with Darkrai seems more than a little stutiful, to be honest.

More pressingly, though, it would be cool if you could make this app up as one for Kutho as opposed to another RP.

So do you want me to change it completely or alter it slight or do you simply frown on it but would accept it nonetheless?

Eh... I'd really prefer that you change it, but if you maybe want to tweak it just so that, for example, the evil killer pokémon were something non-legendary, that would be fine, too.

Alright, I edited it. I know it doesn't make much sense, but I figured it'd be better than the Darkrai appearance. If you think it needs more of an explanation, though, I can add more.

And don't worry about it. The only reason I even brought it up is because I'm anxious to get him started here. I think Ghost would be a perfect addition to Kutho's Criminals.
