[Pikaman]

Jordan, after walking a while got quite bored. He couldn't talk to Nite because Nite seemed like he hated Jordan. Why would someone go after the Pokemon? What was this errand about anyways? By now he was sure it was from the government, an ilegal group, or just an errand he's been getting worked up about. He had now way of knowing...

The rain had long since stopped by the time Jordan had traversed most of the first segment of the route, but a thick, grey blanket of clouds still hung overhead. The lush grass was dotted with more trees than the previous route, and there were only more further along the route. In the distance, a thick line of trees signified the edge of a forest.

Even with a few more trees than usual, there was plenty of space if Jordan wanted to battle, and several pokémon for him to battle against.

- Two kakuna hung from trees by thick, white strings.

- A pidgey pecked at the ground, walking forward every so often to peck at a new spot.

- A jigglypuff looked like it was doing the moonwalk as it made its way toward the path Jordan was on.

- A pichu sparked a little, giggled, and generated electricity again.

Nite looked around the route, looking as disinterested in the pokémon as he was in Jordan. Fiesta, meanwhile, jogged to keep up with Jordan’s walking speed. The thin layer of rainwater still left in her lilypad was slowly leaking out.

"Yes a Pichu! Sorry Fiesta your a water type so Shadow will have to take this one... Go Shadow!" Jordan yelled as he threw Shadow's Pokeball a few feet away from the Pichu.

He always wanted a Pichu or Pikachu! They were so cute, powerful, and a great electric Pokemon! Oh his life would be complete, Ok not complete, but signifacently better if he got it! " Shadow the Pichu is your target, but don't faint it!"

Fiesta glared at the pichu, fully confident that she could take it on, but remained by her trainer’s side.

When Shadow appeared with a burst of bright light, she was already tense and prepared to battle. The pichu saw the flash and turned to look, then its eyes widened when it saw the threat. At Jordan’s command, Shadow barked cheerfully, but before she could move, the pichu stared at her cutely with large, innocent eyes, silently pleading against being injured.

Shadow whined. She wanted to battle, but she just couldn’t really bring herself to attack the pichu, not when it was looking at her like that. The pichu backed away a little, a bit nervously, and Shadow remained still, unsure of what to do. She barked at Jordan, while Fiesta scoffed at her hesitation.

Nite’s long tongue reached out and he licked his own forehead, looking quite bored with this whole procedure.

Update: Shadow’s attack has been lowered (-2).

Terrain: Emerald Pass (Route 2). The mostly-flat ground is carpeted in lush, green grass. Two trees grow close to each other by one side of the battlefield, although it’s unlikely that it would get in the way. A dirt path cuts through the field on another edge of the battle, where Jordan and his other pokémon are standing.

"Don't worry Shadow it's just trying to scare you off! If you don't want to fight that's OK though pal!" Jordan hoped it didn't offend Shadow, but instead reasured her that she had a choice... Although if it worked out like usual she would take it badly...

Shadow stared at the pichu, ears drooping. Of course she wouldn’t just turn away from the battle; Jordan should know that. She didn’t see how the pichu was trying to scare her, but even if it was, she didn’t want to hurt it. If it didn’t want to be hurt – an adorable pokémon like that – then maybe she shouldn’t hurt it?

But she wasn’t just going to give in!

The pichu gave her another cute, innocent, pleading stare as it continued to back away, and Shadow felt her resolve wavering. She still didn’t want to back down, but how could she hurt it? A little baby like that should be protected, not attacked! The choice was too difficult for her to make, and she whined again.

Nite laughed at her from Jordan’s side, and while Jordan couldn’t see Fiesta’s expression, her opinion of Shadow’s predicament was roughly the same.

"Sorry mabie I was a little harsh... Why don't we try being friendly to it instead?" Jordan didn't think it would work, but he didn't want to upset Shadow. He douted the pichu wanted anything to do with them, but it was worth a shot. He slowly walked to the Pichu, crouched so he could see eye to eye, with it, and held out his hand as a gesture of peace. He smiled and waited to see what it would do.

As Jordan walked over to the pichu, however, it gave him a terrified look, cheeks starting to spark warningly. It didn’t go through with its attack, however, and before he got close enough and crouched down, it had already turned to flee. Jordan had ordered his pokémon to attack it, and it wasn’t going to forget that.

It didn’t seem like his chances were completely gone, however, because once the pichu had gotten a good distance away, it stopped and turned around, watching Jordan warily.

Fiesta jeered at Shadow, who barked back angrily, and Fiesta responded with another jab only to hear Shadow’s retort. Both ran forward so they could yell at each other properly, stopping with aggressive stances. The verbal battle was escalating quickly, much to Nite’s delight, but the pichu only seemed more nervous at that.

" Geez guys... Why can't any of my Pokemon get along?" Jordan returned his Pokemon. Jordan then tried to find a way to be nice to the Pichu. Then, he remembered he had one berry in his pack. He took out the berry and held it out. " Hi Pichu. I'm sorry if I scared you, but I'm trying to be nice, see?, Jordan said in a caring nature as he rolled the berry slowly to the Pichu. He Thought that like usual, it wouldn't work, so he was thinking of another way to make the Pichu think he was friendly.

Nite gave Jordan a glare as he was sucked into the pokéball, but the other two were too busy fighting with each other to react before being recalled.

The pichu relaxed somewhat when the pokémon disappeared, but still stared up at Jordan as he approached. It backed away when he walked closer, but its eyes were on the berry. When Jordan rolled the berry toward it – it didn’t go far before stopping, but now the pichu had to split its attention between the berry and the big, scary human that was now so close. Its cheeks still sparked, but it timidly stepped forward toward the berry, and toward Jordan.

It worked? I mean it worked! Well now what? I didn't think I'd even get this far... , thought Jordan.

Jordan just desided to back up a bit, sit down, and wait. What else could he do chase the Pichu? Then it would get mad at him... He hoped it wouldn't feel so threatened after it ate the berry without anything bothering it.

The pichu darted toward the berry, then just as quickly darted back well out of Jordan’s reach, though not too far. It looked up at Jordan, still untrusting, as it bit into the blue triangular berry. It continued eating the berry, staring at Jordan from its spot on the grass.

Update: You have lost one unidentified berry.

Jordan slumped. He had no idea of what to do. The Pichu obiously didn't like him, and it took his only sourse of bribery! Might as well just see what it does... What else is there? Jordan desided to check his Pokenav to see how far he was, and what time it was.

The date and time would be found under the System Settings option, and he would note that it was roughly 5:40PM KST. His location was on Emerald Pass, or Route 2. Between the forest, which was the second-closest landmark on the map, and the Dockland, he was twice as far from the forest as he was from the Dockland.

The pichu, having finished the berry, had blue juice staining the fur around its mouth. It looked at Jordan blankly, still looking wary, and slowly backed away.

"No don't go pichu! Arrggg. Mabie the Pokedex can be of assistence?" Jordan took out his Pokedex and pointed it to the Pichu. He had much doubt that he would catch or befriend the Pichu let alone even get five feet close to it.
