[Moon-panther]

Ming looks up at the buildings, taking in everything around her. She clings to Hui more as she goes down the streets, hearing sounds and snickering coming from the alleys behind her. Her heart beating a bit, she looks down at Hui, who in turn is weary of their surroundings. Ming pets her head, reaching for Hui's ball on her belt.

"You should rest..."

She recalls Hui, placing her back on her belt. She then holds onto her bag's strap tighter as she continued down the road in search for King Street.

"This place...is kinda creepy"

A though dawns onto her that makes her smile a bit.

"Maybe...there's ghost pokemon around"

As Ming walked on the winding cobbled streets, she’d notice how so very easy it was to get lost in the Dockland. The streets, most in need of repair, twisted and winded around blocks of warehouses, restaurants, and various disreputable-looking businesses. If the streets were confusing, the alleyways between the buildings were impossible to comprehend, although if Ming wanted to find a ghost in the Dockland, that would probably be the first place to look—if she dared.

From the grates leading to the sewers, Ming could smell an awful stench that must’ve consisted of everything vile-smelling in existence; it was worse than a stunky. Moving away from that, the smell of factory smoke, rot, and the tangy scent of the ocean in a unique but still rather unpleasant scent. The clouds still hung low, threatening rain, and a strong breeze strengthened the salty ocean’s scent more than usual over the others.

Not far from the route, Ming saw a small shack with the door wide open, letting warm yellow light spill onto the darkened streets. Above the door, there was an old red cross on a weathered wooden board, and music faintly drifted out of the building. Other than that and the wind, the streets were rather quiet, as well as empty; while not abandoned, there were few people around.

Additionally, most street signs Ming could find were damaged, dirtied, or for some other reason hard to read. They all looked old, and probably hadn’t been replaced for a long time. There were intersections lacking in any signs at all, although large holes where some signs would be suggested that they’d been stolen.

Weather: Cloudy, Slight winds

Ming stops and looks at the weathered board with the red cross. She looks down the street, then back at the sign.

"...worth a shot"

She walks in through the door and looks around the enterance.

"Hello...may I ask where I might be?"

Inside the shack, Ming first saw a desk, with a newspaper and coffee mug resting on top, although the chair behind said desk was empty. There was also a healing machine by one wall, and a box labelled “Lost and Found” beside said machine. Now that Ming was inside the shack, she could tell the music was from the eighties, and was coming from a radio on the desk.

There was a man in a security guard uniform sprawled face-down on the floor, by one of the walls. A brief examination would reveal that he was fast asleep.

She sighs, shaking her head at the man on the floor.

"Lazy, lazy, lazy..."

She then walks over to the healing machine and checks it over.

"...hmm...well...simple enough"

She takes the two poke'balls that holds both Hui and Aydin and places them in the machine.

"Now... how do I start this thing"

If Ming wanted to heal her pokémon, the best option was probably the large green “HEAL” button on the lower right.

The man stirred somewhat behind Ming, then quickly sat up. “Goddammit,” he groaned. “Second time today…” He looked at Ming blearily. “Please tell me you don’t have a pokémon that knows Hypnosis.”

Ming jumps a bit when she hears the man's voice. She then tunrs her head and looks over her shoulder at him. She runs through her mental files of her pokemons' moves, then shakes her head.

"....no...they don't know that move quite yet..."

She turns back to the machine and presses the heal button. She then angles herself so that she can look at the man and keep an eye on her pokemon.

"So...you got hit with Hypnosis?"

[Kusarigamaitachi]

The machine thrummed as it went through its cycle, healing the pokémon inside their pokéballs.

“I wouldn’t be surprised if that wasn’t the only thing I was hit with,” the man muttered darkly, rubbing his head. “Shit, how does that even happen? Major headache, and I’m going to have to get busy now.”

He shook his head, getting to his feet and walking toward the desk. “I wanted some action, but not this kind.”

She watches him, placing her hands in her pocket. She glances at the machine for a few moments.

" What is it that you do? Do you just watch the healing machine here?"

A thought crosses her mind, she then searches for her wallet.

"I don't have much money...but how much will this cost?"

[Kusarigamaitachi]

“Nah, the machine’s free to use. I get paid to watch it, true, but it’s from taxes and such. It’s what I do most of the time… but I’m a security guard, too. If you’ve got problems with theft or worse, or if you witness a crime, I’m one of the ones you go to here.” He smiled grimly. “I suggest you be careful. Be on the lookout for someone with a powerful gastly or rapidash, too, though not everyone with those is going to be a criminal.”

Ming smile at the man, putting her wallet away into her pocket.

"I'll keep my guard up...I kinda started doing that when I arrived in town. This place has this...energy about it It's kind of has this sticky feeling to it"

She looks back to the machine, waiting for it to finish its run.

"....Rapidash and Gastly...I'll watch out for those"

[Kusarigamaitachi]

“We’ve got one of the highest crime rates in all of Kutho,” the security guard answered. “It’s not surprising that the air seems tainted with evil, though it’s probably just the grimer infestation.”

The machine let out a cheerful chime and displayed an all-clear message as he finished speaking. Its droning whine quieted to a low hum, barely noticeable over the music, much like what it had been before Ming had entered the shack.

Update: Aydin and Hui are fully restored.

Ming walks over to the machine and takes out her poke'balls, placing them back onto her belt. She then turns back to the man and gives him a smile.

"I'll be careful...now, you be careful too. I hope your day goes better"

She turns to the door and starts to leave.

[Kusarigamaitachi]

“You too,” the man said distractedly; he wasn’t paying much attention to her anymore.

Outside, the cloud still covered almost the entire sky, though the wind had died down. There wasn’t much else of note, except for someone running past her.

“Nick! NICK!” Ming heard after the woman passed her. From behind, with a fairly consistent view, she could tell the woman was yelling into a pokénav. “Don’t worry, I’m coming!”

Weather: It is cloudy.

Ming watches the woman run by, debating if she should ask if she could help. She then shrugs her shoulders and contines to walk down the street under the now cloudy sky.

"It may be smart to be more careful...is she needs help, she'll ask for it"

She then looks around at her surroundings as she walks down the street. She places a hand over her belt, running a finger along her Poke'balls.
