Willow Town Named after the professor who founded it (and the many willow trees thriving there), Willow Town is a quaint and simple town with little more than residential areas. Professor Willow's lab, the only building of any particular note, can be found on a hill on the outskirts of town.
Willow Town is currently sunny.

Willow Walk (Route 1) Connecting Willow Town to the eastern shore, Willow Walk is mostly wide, open grassland. A wooden path, elevated about a foot off the ground by stilts, stretches all along the route. The ocean can be reached far to the south, though beware: wild pokemon grow stronger the farther south one wanders.
Willow Walk is currently sunny.

Dockland The Dockland, little more than a collection of grimy warehouses on the eastern coast, is not for the faint of heart. With its dark alleys, questionable inhabitants, and skyrocketing crime rate, the area is very intimidating even to experienced travelers. Sailors are a common sight on the docks, and unfortunately, the same can be said of criminals and gangs.
The Dockland is currently rainy.

Emerald Pass (Route 2) The abundance of trees to be found here are sign of the upcoming forest, and as such more bug and grass-type pokemon inhabit the area. Emerald Pass' wide dirt road eventually forks into two directions, the northeast leading to a forest and the west to Fleet Town.
Emerald Pass is currently cloudy.

Rattata Way (Route 3) Flowers and hillsides define Rattata Way, one of Kutho's longer routes. It runs parallel to the western shore, though as it goes northward it pulls away from the coast and leads into grassier lands. Those with keen eyes can find ground-type pokemon here. Eventually, Rattata Way will lead to Fleet Town.
Rattata Way is currently cloudy.

Fleet Town This may have been a town in a previous, happier time, but now it is ravaged beyond repair. The streets are thick with cooled magma, and what few buildings survived the earthquakes have been reduced to mere husks by both fires and thieves alike. The only signs of human life are the small facilities constructed outside the town itself.
Fleet Town currently has light winds.

Plains' End Path (Route 4) Little greenery is to be found on Plains' End Path, with dry, patchy fields, coarse grass, and more dirt than anything else. That and the higher temperature attracts not only many rock and ground-type pokemon, but generally faster and stronger pokemon as well, so be careful. It cools down and is greener at the route's end, where it forks north to Mura City and northwest to the Marshlands.
Plains' End Path is currently cloudy.

Mura City Considered by many to be the heart of Kutho, Mura City is the region's largest and most industrialized city. It is home to nearly everything one could imagine, from shopping centers to hotels to the largest police department in the region, and there is even a Gym here--the first Kutho has to offer.
Mura City is currently rainy.

Mossy Forest The many trees here form a canopy that restricts nearly all sunlight, so Mossy Forest lies in a state of perpetual darkness. Brave trailblazers have long since beaten a path through the forest and left lanterns to light the way. Inexperienced trainers should never stray from the lit path, for the truly ferocious pokemon lurk in the darkness. The Barrens await those who brave the forest.
Mossy Forest is currently cloudy.

The Barrens (Route 5) The influence of the Mossy Forest lingers in the Barrens, as trees are plentiful in the southern part of the route, but no such resemblance can be found farther north. There are only withered bushes, sand, and the unrelenting sun that scorches the earth--and any travelers--with its heat. Past this unforgiving land is a mountain pass, and beyond it, Deathgorge.
The Barrens are currently sunny.

Deathgorge Settled between the two massive walls of the Great Gorge lies not only a civilization, but a full-blown city and popular tourist attraction. It is not without the heat of the Barrens, but thankfully Deathgorge is more considerate to one's survival with a large river cutting through the town and many trees planted for shade.
This city is also home to the famous Deathgorge Tournament.
Deathgorge is currently sunny.

The Marshlands (Route 6) What Plains' End Path lacks in moisture and flora, the Marshlands more than compensates. With nothing but marsh as far as the eye can see, travelers should stay on the walking path to avoid getting soaked. Thankfully, the wooden path here is not only elevated, but a great deal wider. Perhaps predictably, many water's edge pokemon reside here. Farther north is a river and a bridge to cross it.
The Marshlands currently have light winds.

Hallow Reed Located just a short ways past the bridge in the Marshlands and nestled in the thick mist lies a mysterious village shrouded in an ethereal air. Not much information is currently available, though it is the home of the prestigious Malheur legacy. It is also rumored that the second Gym Leader is here somewhere. Then again, rumors are all that ever leave Hallow Reed's borders...
Hallow Reed is currently cloudy.

The Airport Previously, all players starting out in Kutho were required to play out a full thread in the Airport before departing for Willow Town to get their starting pokémon. The Airport is no longer used for this purpose, so it has been archived for use as reference only. Forum Led by: pathos |
