Dex: Craise wander grassy areas and graze for a significant portion of their lives. They often reside in one area for some time before moving on, protected by stronger members of the herd. Usually, several craise will live with a few female draeces, and a male and female oschitt. Several small bands will live in the same area, each one protecting their own members.
Craise mark their territories with burning feces. They are immune to the stench, so they mark sleeping areas with the same feces in order to keep away predators. Some have actually learned to weaponise their feces and launch it, which always has a chance of burning the opponent. Sometimes, they lace their feces with an inflammable poison, which burns hotter and releases actively dangerous gases into the air. Non-toxic feces eventually stops burning, and the remaining organic matter can be used as plant nutrients.
Despite the significant deterrent of the stench, or perhaps because of it, craise are generally friendly to anyone who doesn't mind the stench. They are known to invite abandoned stunky into their herds, and they rarely seem to mind grimer, although they don't tend to reside in the same areas.
Craise are immune to the stench ability and can use odor sleuth with little repercussion unless there are actively damaging chemical agents in the air.

Dex: Upon evolution, draeces are often driven out of their band by the lead male, regardless of sex. Females will usually then join other bands while males will form a band of their own or join an all-male herd. Occasionally, bands of newly-rejected draeces will spontaneously form from unrelated draeces, although this is rare. Rarer still are lone draeces, as they have a strong instinct that drives them to companionship; they will preferentially at least pair up with other draeces if no band will accept them, for example if they are crippled or appear abnormal. They will generally run from predators, although if there are young at stake, draeces will chase off predators and attack with their horns.
A draeces is the latest form of the craise line that can be easily captured and controlled, and draeces will extend their companionable and protective behaviours to their team. They can even accept predators, although this has never been observed in the wild. Draeces will often allow trainers to ride them, and will carry this behaviour after evolution, but one captured as an oschitt will rarely do so.
Like craise, draeces defecate already-burning organic matter. The purpose of this is not entirely known, other than the ability to clearly mark territories. It is also thought that the scent markers in their burning feces can send complex messages to others of the craise line. High concentrations of droppings can be found near sleeping areas, which keeps predators at bay. However, they leave their sleeping areas in order to graze.

Dex: Oschitt are fairly rare in the wild, although they are not difficult to find. Two oschitt, a male and female, always lead a small band of up to twenty female draeces and several craise.
The lead female is responsible for the safety of the herd, discipline, and leading the herd on travels, particularly in search of food. She will drive out unruly members of the herd, even if it is the lead male, a pregnant draeces, or her own children. She has the right to eat or drink first in any location, and she can choose whether to allow female draeces into the herd.
The lead male, meanwhile, brings up the rear when the herd travels, and is responsible for keeping the herd together as well as fighting off any predators. Unlike the lead female, he must be strong, and he can be replaced by a stronger male oschitt at any time. He will often allow a single weaker oschitt to live in the herd; this oschitt usually is the one to drive out the lead male and take over the herd himself. The lead male will also drive out any of his children that evolves into a draeces. It is the lead male's responsibility to mark the territory with feces and urine.
Whenever a female draeces evolves into an oschitt, she will leave to lead a new band, or if she finds a band without a lead female, she will join that one instead. Males will often first challenge lead males of other bands until he either usurps a lead male or finds and is accepted by a potential lead female. The pair will then accept female draeces into the herd until they have managed a reasonable size, the average being eight draeces.
Oschitt feces burns the hottest and cleanest, with no visible smoke, although the stench is still overpowering. Given enough time, the feces will burn until all of the material has disappeared. There has been talk of extinguishing and gathering it for fuel as an alternative to current fuels. However, the stench and the difficulty of harvesting oschitt feces are the main obstacles to this plan.

The entire line is immune to the stench ability while retaining sensitivity to other moves such as aromatherapy through the stench. Additionally, their feces have the same effect as the stench ability.
