THE END, So Long, Good Bye

[Jech Toichi]

Jech sat up on a sand dune, the moon stretched out before. It had been a day since he had left Mizuki at the dojo, and truthfully he began to regret it dearly. "Well... She'll find a way back... She's no pushover." He leaned back into the coarse sand and thought back to all that had occurred in his lifetime. "All that's happened, the people I've met... All I've learned... And for what!" He stood to his feet. "WHAT ALL WAS IT FOR! FOR YOU! JUST FOR YOU! HA HA!!!"
In anger he tore off his tunic and threw his sandals to the ground in front of him. "HA HA! WHAT WAS IT FOR!??? ALL OF IT!? HUH!?" He turned his back to the moon and pointed to the seal between his shoulder blades. "RIGHT THERE! SIGNED IN MY OWN BLOOD! IT AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN!!! NOT TODAY!! NOT TOMORROW!!! NEVER!!"
His kodachi lay in the sand to his right, in little less than a second he snatched it from its sheath and kneeled in the sand. "Well." He flipped off the moon. "Screw you to Hell."
What have we here?
Jech's eyes opened wide as he retrieved a kunai from his pouch.
??? Don't stop on my account, please.
"Who are you?"
Merely an interested bystander.
Jech laughed at this.
"That's rich truly. Out here? In this wasteland? You'd have to be a serpent to survive here."
Kuku.
Jech's smile disappeared.
"Who gives a muffin. Die now."
He threw the kunai towards the man and charged with his kodachi drawn. Before he even saw the kunai hit home, the man had his throat in grip, his smile of amusement gone.
Don't try it boy, honestly... You're no more than a simple-minded genin who's scared of himself.
Jech struggled in the man's grip as the man raised him into the air. The kodachi layed in the ground where it had fallen.
One question before you die... Would you have done it?
"Done... what," Jech sputtered out.
The man's head nodded towards the kodachi.
Killed yourself. Would you have done it?
Jech managed out a small laugh.
"...No...I'm not strong enough...I guess...I thought I could fool myself..."
He looked into the man's eyes with anger. "I'm just... not... strong enough!!"
Jech's eyes began to fade out as he began to lose consciousness, before the man released him he saw a smile on his lips. He dropped Jech to the ground and turned away. Good bye.

flabbergasted. He looked toward's the man with confusion and anger. "What? That's it? You're not gonna kill me?
No. You're too smart to kill. This is good bye for now.
Jech blinked and the man was gone. With sluggish movement he retrieved his kodachi and returned to where he had thrown his sandals to the ground.
