Basically, time is always passing us by, and here on the site, it's no different. Outside of the Arcs, the main storyline where several people have to post to make it move forward, time will still move forward for our characters. This will allow us to track their age, as well as manage how they learn new jutsu which take time to master, such as Rasengan or Sage Mode.

This is the purpose for the clock at the top of the site now.

And here is how it all works out-

Every 5 hours that pass by on the clock is equal to 1 day in Site Time.
5 hours = 1 day

Every 35 hours that pass by on the clock is equal to 1 week in Site Time.
35 hours = 1 week

Every 140 hours that pass by on the clock is equal to 1 month in Site Time.
140 hours = 1 month ...or... about 6 days = 1 month

Every 1680 hours that pass by on the clock is equal to 1 year in Site Time.
1680 hours = 1 year ...or... 70 days = 1 year

Now, if you are familiar with the series you may have picked up on the fact that the Shadow Clone technique produces clones that can interact with the real world just like their maker, but what's more important, and my reason for mentioning it, is that each Shadow Clone contains a portion of the users chakra. It literally takes a piece of their chakra.

What does this have to do with time?

Well, because of this fact, Shadow Clones can be used to speed up the time it takes for a character to learn a technique. If the character knows the Shadow Clone technique, and they need to learn a high ranked technique, these clones can be used to speed things up. Because the amount of chakra the character has determines how many clones can be made, the user takes the Chakra Level number from their character a divide that into the amount of time their technique will take to learn.

The length of time the technique will take shall be determined by the Staff, so ask them before doing this so you don't mess up and waste your time.

For example...say that Shinobi has a Chakra Level of 7.
Now, let's say they want to learn Rasengan.
Rasengan is an A-Rank technique that takes alot of time, patience, and skill to master, and so it might take the character up to 1 Site Year to master it enough for it to be used in combat.
1 Site Year is equal to 70 Reallife days.
So, 70 divided by 7 = 10.
This means it would take the character 10 real life days to learn the technique if they used their Shadow Clone technique. That's equal to about two and a half months in Site Time.

The way it works over all is that the user would be unable to use Shinobi at all for 10 real life days, and during this time they will have learned the technique. Some techniques will take longer than others.

WARNING: A character can only train for 1 technique at a time, meaning that you can't, over the course of the training time given to you by the Staff, learn more than 1 high level technique at a time.
You also cannot use Shadow Clone Training for every technique. This is for several reasons. For one, the more you train the less you can use that character, so there's no point in doing this very often if you need that character. Another would be that, in the roleplays, your character would constantly be tired and drained of chakra. And lastly, it just wouldn't be fair.
In short, you can only use this type of training FOR EVERY THREE TECHNIQUES. So you can use this kind of training once, then for the next 3 techniques you have to train for, you can't use it, then it resets.
