I've had Rosie for a year now.Previous owner won an award at the Nationals 3-4 years ago.
Have new engine rebored to 1776 with twin webbers.Drives well.
Would like to add disc brakes .Will have to wait as some rust needs attending to!
Took her away this January and she "lost" reverse! Parking was rather tricky but we managed to push her a couple of times-no mean feat!!!!
All good now as was gearbox mount that had started to collapse.
Have owned Beetles in the past and sold a Bay window to neighbours(it was at the Taranaki nationals).
Would love an Oval specifically a 1955.
Hope to be at the National this year.
