Secrets of the moon is a german black metal band and the sound is similar to KoK but the songs are much slower, more "Doom" influences, a darker atmosphere. since their new album (Privilegivm), their songs dominating my playlist. Songs like Shepherd represent a very progressive way of playing black metal. But it takes a long time to get in their music and to understand the meanings and varieties of their songs. But when you are ensnared by their sound then they will become a great band for thoughtfull and composed evenings. But all in all their mid-speed black metal takes getting used to...
