I feel like I'm sending an instant telegram. This is amazing!

Instant telegram? I've never thought of it like that before! I'd say it's only amazing if you have someone to talk to though, and I'm surprised to see a resident of Moon Creek here. Presuming you are one of course.
THANKS EMILY @ ATF.

Well, I don't suppose telegrams are very common in this day and age.

I suppose you could call me a resident of Moon Creek. I'm not originally from here, but it's not like there's anyplace else for me in this time. I consider Dayton, Ohio to be my home.

I'm guessing, by your questions, that you are not originally from Moon Creek either?

You'd be right there, though I'm sure they were lovely back in the day.

Oh, really? Technically I'm not a resident either, originally I came from england and now Ilive in clark county, idaho. I fancied a change of scenery. Both times. What do you mean when you say that there's no place else for you right now? Sorry to be nosy.
THANKS EMILY @ ATF.

They were.

Oh, don't worry. You'll come to find I'm just as nosy at times.

I'm a Clock Crasher. I think that's the right terminology? It's what the folks at the Academy call us. I mean that there isn't much for me in 2015. Although the technology is mesmerizing. Just to hear what's been done with our invention...

Clock Crasher? I have to say I've never heard that term before....from the academy huh? I've passed the place a few times, it's always locked up tight though. What exactly does Clock Crasher mean? From the sounds of it....but that couldn't be possible....it just couldn't, so I should stop speculating and just ask you.

The technology today is indeed mesmerising, though I see what you mean, the technology of the past was more beneficial in a way. Useful and unique.
THANKS EMILY @ ATF.

What you are speculating may in fact be true.

We, the Clock Crashers, do not belong here. They haven't told us much else, though I've met others like me. I have not met him in person, but Thomas Jefferson is among us. As well as a Russian princess.

The technology of today is not useful and unique? I feel that it is. Or, I presume it is. I have not completely caught up. This computer device is new to me. You must understand that a lot has changed over a century. I am at an advantage greater than most of my fellows in that I'm from a more recent era, as well as well acquainted with technology. I'm Orville, by the way.

This is true? It just sounds so fantastical..... Thomas Jefferson?? A russian Princess?? It's intriguing but so unbelievable. No one would ever believe this back home....and you're all holed up at the academy? I really must get inside there. Does the whole town know about this?

Maybe it is. I'm not entirely sure, I suppose in your opinion it would be, after all it is all 'new' to you. It must be more of a relief to have at least some familiarity with this world, even though the era you've come from [this all sounds so strange!] is still so far in the past. Orville. Thats an unusual name, it must suit you though. I can't remember whether I mentioned mine or not. Oh well, it's Emily in any case. What era have you come from?
THANKS EMILY @ ATF.

I feel quite similarly. If I weren't living it I think I would have a hard time believing it myself!

I wouldn't say holed up. I mean, we get out sometimes. I'm not entirely sure about the town - The only person I've really talked to in length is the police chief, and he knows.

Most of the devices that exist in this...era (yes, I agree with you, it does sound strange) exist in some form where I am from, though the advancements that have been made are phenomenal. Telephones, automobiles, flying machines...

'spose I'll have to get used to calling them airplanes, though. Not a far cry from aeroplane, though still a bit odd to me. We have nothing like this computer where I come from, though. We do have typewriters, but this is both similar to a typewriter and yet so much more.

Pleasure to meet you, Emily, even if I do not have the pleasure of doing so in person.

Rather than "era", I think I shall go with a year instead. I'm not entirely sure as to what you'd refer to my "era" as anyway. The year was 1908 before my arrival here.
