Character Name: Kowai Morihara
Character Age: 24
Character Height: 173 cm
Characters Weight: 66 kg
Starting Village ( Hidden Cloud)
Primary Element/Secondary Element: Lightning
Character Appearance: Has mussy black hair and bored brown eyes. Kowai wears a black half-top and loose black pants. While she normally only wears netting on her arms, she has thin bracers and metal elbow pads for combat. She wears her cloud headband around her neck like a scarf.
History: Like many Kumo jounin, Kowai’s name is from an adjective (in this particular case, “scary”). Before her Mom died, she would tell Kowai that her name was suposed to be “Kawaii,” but the nurse misheard her mother, and the name stuck. Kowai spent her childhood with her single mom, where life was tough but bearable. Kowai found the ninja academy as a way to try and help her mom in expenses, especially as her mom became frail and unable to work.
Kowai graduated in the top five of her class, but she didn’t feel as happy as her peers for graduating. Her mother started staying in the hospital, and in her desperation Kowai started asking her teacher to take them on high-paying, dangerous missions. During her genin training, Kowai decided to learn more about weapon mastery and started using her kama as a base weapon.
As Kowai became stronger and more skilled as a kunoichi, her mother’s health declined. Kowai felt so helpless as she watched her Mom wither away and die, that eventually Kowai hid her emotions and would spend her energy becoming skilled at weapon mastery and finally learning the Kiku genjutsus.
With bored brown eyes Kowai has become a soldier for Kumo, stoically awaiting any missions that life gives her.Starting JutsuPrimary Tree
Name: Weapon Mastery
Special Item: Melee weapon of choice, within reason (Kama)
. Extra pack of either shuriken or kunai.
Description: A long and difficult road awaits those who wish to use this style of combat, but those that are willing are well rewarded for their efforts. A form that revolves around perfecting the use of weapons in all their forms. From the early stages of projectiles to the later of whatever melee weapon the user wishes. Fighting a master of this style can prove to be a nightmare as they always seems to have a trick up their sleeve.
Pinpoint Accuracy Level 1
Description: An unusual trait for a fresh genin to have, almost perfect aim with a shuriken or kunai. Of course this skill comes in handy in more ways than one. At this level the user could hit the bullseye of a target 80% of the time.
Dual Throwing Level 1
Description: After working on their throwing technique a bit more the user may now throw perfectly with both hands at the same time. Their accuracy will not go down while throwing weapons out of each hand. At this lever however they lose accuracy if they throw more than one weapon from each hand.
Speed Throw Level 1
Description: By studying the best way to throw a weapon the user is not only able to throw the weapon faster it also travel slightly faster than average.
Pinpoint Accuracy Level 2
Description: A short sequence of level. The user now has perfect accuracy, while using one hand at least. They may also use an abnormal amount of weapons in one throw and still have them hit their mark dead on.
Melee Mastery Level 1
Description: After gaining a solid feel for projectiles the user now moves onto mastering their melee weapon of choice. Their skill at this level is comparable to any level 1 specialist, however due to them being a more solid shinobi it is slightly better.
Dual Throwing Level 2
Description: The user has now become closer to mastering this technique. They can now throw two weapons from each hand without having it effect their accuracy.
Melee Mastery Level 2
Description: Taking a break from projectiles the user now works on their melee proficiency. Again this level is comparable to the level 2 skill of a specialist. At this level however, the gap between the two is lower as the specialist is no longer a fresh genin with no experience.
Speed Throwing Level 2
Description: By reducing movement into a single snap motion the user can now throw a projectile quicker than most shinobi. The speed of the actual projectile is also increased and travels faster then average.
Dual Throwing Level 3
Description: Upon reaching this level the user may now throw with both hands as if it was one.
Piercing Throw Level 1
Description: Taking a different approach to throwing the user focuses on power. By focusing chakra into the projectile they then release it with a longer style of throwing. The effect is it creates a high velocity shot that can penetrate some defenses.
Melee Mastery Level 3
Description: Having almost mastered the use of projectiles the user now goes back to work on their melee skills. This level is slightly worse than a specialist at the same level.
Speed Throwing Level 3
Description: Throwing speed has no equal. The throw itself seems to come out of nowhere, having almost no movement at all. The actual projectile itself now travels at a speed where it becomes hard to even see., much less dodge. This level signifies mastery in the art of using projectiles.
Piercing Throw Level 2
Description: While there is still one jutsu left to learn, this jutsu is a bit of an offshoot of the main technique. It is almost identical to the previous level, only the amount of chakra contained in the weapon is higher and the speed much faster. This has the ability to penetrate most defenses
Melee Mastery Level 4
Description: While this is the last level of the melee mastery the user is unable to match a level 4 specialist. The user is clearly better than a level 3, but unable to take on someone who has fully mastered the use of a single weapon.
Then you are also given a tree that is considered the Acedemy tree. Every village has one and so depending on your village you get that villages Acedemy tree as well. Known Jutsu will be approved by one of the Admin’s before it is considered true. Keep it realistic, you are just a Genin.Secondary Tree
Name: Kiku (Fear) Chart
Special Items: Paper/Parchment for Seals, and ink for the Hora Aiga Jutsu.
Description: For shinobi who plan on having a tech tree that is primarily Genjutsu. The theme of Genjutsu is for the user to trigger fear in the enemy, which will help the user escape battles they can't fight, buy time for attacks that need concentration to be used, or just use some of the less effective techniques for fun, to scare friends.
- Unari no Jutsu (Screech)
Description: Basic attempt to distract one's enemy. Releases aren't really needed for this beginner's ability, but that still doesn't make it any less iritating for one's ears.
- Giragira no Jutsu (Glare)
Description: A confident glare to throw off the user's enemy. Effective against Academy Students and beginning Genin. This is a great preempting move for a fair match.
- Kamakaze no Konpaku (Exploding Phantom)
Description: The user fakes an image of the enemy trapped in a room with a ghoul chasing him around, seemingly waving an exploding tag. (Lasts for one of the enemy's posts) The whole time the user may run away, or attack the enemy and trigger an early release of the illusion.
- Giragira no Jutsu (Glare - Rank 2)
Description: More effective than the first level, this jutsu will cause someone of Chuunin rank to succumb to it. If the enemy's eyes meet the user's, the enemy may be intimidated enough to either close their eyes in fear, or cry in Achilles' heel, which should allow the user to distract the enemy for enough time to pull off an attack or possibly flee.
- Bakuha no Konpaku (Super Exploding Phantom)
Description: The user transforms into a ghoul and flies into the air, spinning around the enemy, releasing 5 exploding tags. One aimed for the face, two aimed for each shoulder, 1 aimed for the ribs, and 1 aimed for the spine. It is rare that all 5 reach the enemy's body before it's interruption. It should be considered GM if 4-5 are used successfully.
((last three I’m not sure about. If they aren’t usable, lemme know
- Hiroimono no Jutsu (Fear Detecting)
Description: Achieving this skill means being able to sense what one fears most. The only way it will work is if the user knows all the possible fears one can have. Through this a flash of each fear will appear in front of the enemy's eyes for a split second. The image that the enemy flinches mostly too is the detected fear. This can be time consuming and may not work at first, but with training this jutsu, the user will notice that it can actually work.
Side-note: "Making up" a fear won't work, because this skill isn't about telepathy, it's more about empathy. Everyone, even cold hearted assasin ninjas, has some kind of emotion. Just look at Zabimaru, I bet no one expected him to cry after the event with Haku. Having a fearless character should be flagged as GM.
- Kiku Henge no Jutsu (Horror "Attack")
Description: Requires some experience with the "Fear Detecting" jutsu. With this the user apparently transforms into one's greatest fear and then performs an attack that relates to the fear.
Side-Note: Example - The enemy is most afraid of fish. The user becomes a fish and attacks by flailing and waving its fins at the enemy.
- Hora Aiga no Jutsu (Horror "Movie")
Description: A technique in which the user requires the "Fear Detecting" jutsu, to place the enemy in a virtually inevitable trance(however someone other than himself may release him), where his greatest fear is surrounding him, simply staring him into complete dread for 1 hour, and then stabbing his body for 24 hours. The only way to block out this jutsu completely is with the 3rd stage of Sharingan or higher. The move is carried out by making a seal and sticking it on the opponent's forehead.
Side-note: Keep in mind that this comes dangerously close to Tsukuyomi on the Uchiha Clan tree, but applies differently for the enemy. The illusion won't just be any random torture idea the user can think of. It will be the exact fear of the opponent that will be implanted into their minds, which could cause even the most level headed of people to become insane/disturbed. And if this jutsu can be flagged as GM, please try to consider that this is what Genjutsu is mainly about and that there are actually two possible ways to escape it, keeping it.Academy & Village Technique Chart
Bunshin no Jutsu (Clone Technique)
Description: This technique must be mastered by any ninja who has graduated from the Academy at the Hidden Cloud Village. It's the most basic technique a Genin must know, since it can be a real lifesaver. This ninjutsu creates an illusional clone of the user.
Henge no Jutsu (Transformation Technique)
Description: Henge no Jutsu is the basic skill a ninja must know to become a Genin. It is a very useful and widely used skill in the series, as it has many uses. It's mostly used as a decoy, to confuse the opponent by transforming into somebody that's an ally with the enemy.
Genjutsu Kai (Genjutsu Release)
Description: A Ninjutsu technique where the ninja focuses their chakra and screams "kai" or "release." They can perform it on themselves or on others. It will effectively ward off most Genjutsu, unless extremely powerful or when used in conjunction with an advanced bloodline.
Kinobori/Kabenobori no Jutsu (Tree/Wall Walking Technique)
Description: By focusing a proper amount of chakra into the feet, the user is able to walk on walls and trees.
Kumo Shunshin no Jutsu
Description: An ability which allows the user to transport from one area to another in a puff of smoke. (Not to be Used in Battle)
Suimen Hokou no Gyou (Water Walking)
