General Rules
No bashing of Jake/Ricky/Cara/Lindsay is allowed.
This is a forum dedicated to Jake/Cara as a romantic couple and thus supporting the actor/actress who bring these characters to life in Ricky and Lindsay. Bashing of any of them will not be tolerated and is unacceptable. It is fine if you are a Jake/RickyFF or a Cara/LindsayFF BUT this is a board dedicated to Jake/Cara first and foremost and will remain that way.
Actors, Actresses & Fanbases
Do not in any way, shape or form be disrespectful to the people who are simply portraying their characters. They do not write the show. They do not have creative control over what is happening. The actors themselves may not be pleased by what is happening to their characters. However, that doesn't change the fact that they are simply doing their job. Period. There will be no warnings to this. Bash any actor/actress and you're gone. While we all have our likes and dislikes, please remember what brought us all here in the first place (Jake & Cara). If there is a discussion on a character/pairing/actor/actress you are not fond of, please ignore it and discuss something that you do like.
Respecting Your Fellow Posters
Respect is paramount. We all have our opinions on any given subject, in which we are neither right or wrong, so just respect that someone feels one way about said subject and it's not 100% in agreement with you. If you feel like a fellow poster is being disrespectful or baiting you on a subject, PM an staff member immediately. Do not try and take the issue on yourself. Do not contact them through PM or bring up other issues from other forms of communication, ie AIM, YIM, Twitter, etc. Just alert a staff member and it can hopefully be resolved in a timely manner.
Signature Rules
Due to the fact that some people have slower connections, the maximum limit is two banners per signature. The size of these banners should not exceed 550x300. There is also a ban on animation forums being displayed in your signature area.
Icons are not to exceed 100x100. In your area for icons, you may display animation graphics. If you display icons in your signature area, please limit to two rows of icons.
If you do a mix (banner/icons), please limit yourself to one banner and one row of icons, all at the board requirements (banners-550x300, avatar-100x100). If you choose to have all text in your signature, please limit yourself to 10 rows of text. Please do not go crazy with text size and please keep the original color of the forum as some colors may be very bright to other members or too dark to read.
There is also a ban on anti-anything in one's signature or icon areas. Please remember to credit the makers if you did not create the artwork you are displaying.
Clip Rules
Putting up clips in a timely manner is not a easy feat and may take some time. Just make sure that if you do comment to say 'thank you' as it can go a long way and to credit the correct people shall the clips be used outside of your personal usage.
