Ii./jg53 Recruitment, Correct as of 2nd April 11

II./JG53 is currently re-opening recruitment for Bf109 and Ju88 pilots.

Due to the performance issues with Cliffs of Dover we as a group have decided to delay switch over to the new engine for a while, as such we are opening up recruitment for limited numbers.

We are currently accepting pilots for BOTH our fighter sections and our Bomber section from all over the world.

We have 5 sections in the group primarily based on time zone and aircraft specialism:

Weisse: European Fighter section
Rote: American / Canadian Fighter Section
Gelbe: Australian / New Zealand Fighter Section
Schwartz: Once the main time zone sections switch to the new Cliffs of Dover Engine this section will continue running modded 1946 for those unable to upgrade
Kampf: Worldwide Bomber section

Right now Gelbe and the Kampf section are a little low in numbers so we especially welcome pilots for these sections.

We are currently looking for a maximum of:

6 Bf109 Pilots
8 JU88 Pilots

Whilst we do recruit worldwide we are an English speaking group so some knowledge of English is needed, equally the minimum age for recruits is 18 unless invited directly by an existing member.

I would like to show an interest in joining the Weisse Fighter Section Bf109. (UK Based) I have already submitted a Recruitment form a short while ago.

Paulus and Oscar,

I've process your recruitment submissions, my apologies for not doing it sooner, we will need to get you guys sorted for a quick into flight to see what level you are flying at present, this can be found in the general area of the forums if you could post when you are available we can endeavour to get you setup as quickly as we can.

I have also received a further 4 sign ups, two of which bounce back the emails for some reason, Chamberlain and Lenny, if you both visit again please register on the forums with your correct email addresses and we can sort out the recruitment form then since there is an issue with it being bounced by your email client.

To the other two chaps, please register on the forusm and we can get you sorted in the same lines as Paulus and Oscar.

Again, recruitment is open on a limited basis, so for anyone reading this who is interested please get in touch to make sure you don't miss out and have to wait until we fully open recruiting when we move to Cliffs of Dover properly.

Valentine trying to setup IL2 46 ultra pack/JG53 mod has been a night mare i have not yet achieved it despite looking through tech thread its seems a bit all over the place and disjointed to someone that is not too familer with the ins and out of computers, a couple of links and some sequence would be helpful, please direct to a 'Iam new to JG53 what do I need to do in sequence to get started' if there is one, iam also unfamiler with Team Speak 2, no point trying to arrange a test flight until these areas are running as properly and smoothly.

Hey Paulus. Here's a nice installation guide.

I've deleted the bits pertaining to a normal download, as the full torrent download is really the only way to be sure you're getting uncorrupted files.

Don't worry about asking any further questions. Someone here will certainly be able to answer them.

Thank you Orange, the last bit of your post is very helpful, Mark PM me and was very helpful and I managed to get alot done but was still suffering crashes for some unknown reason. Very useful for us new comers all the same.
I'll start a 'Iam new to JG53 thread' over in the tech thread as i sure I'll have a couple of more questions this will also be very useful for any other recruits.

I've received quite a few sign ups over the last 3 or 4 days, I've sent out emails to all those who have signed up and have activated accounts for all those who have registered on the forums after signing up.

Please note that accounts deemed as "non active sign ups" will be deleted at the end of each month so please ensure you post your introduction as promptly as possible so that we can get you all squared away and ready to fly.

If you wish to be a member of II./JG53 you must complete a new sign up form, re-register on the forums and post your introduction post so that we can get you sorted with getting onboard with the group.

On a birghter side the vast majority of our recent sign ups have remained active with several already participating in official missions and doing quite well with their virtual careers.

We are of course, always welcoming new Bf09 and JU88 pilots into the group.

We have several accounts on the forums pending receiving these forms.

The reason for this is that there has been a recent incident of a sign up not accompanied by the recruitment form spamming inappropriate material on the forums creating a lot of unnecessary work for our forum admins and moderators.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

II./JG53 is currently discussing the options with regards to upgrading to Cliffs of Dover, as such we are opening up recruitment for Cliffs of Dover alongside our current Il2 1946 recruitment. Even when the group converts to Cliffs of Dover over the next few months we will maintain our presence with an IL2 1946 modded Staffel to parralel the activities in our campaign in CloD as closely as possible to enable those unable or unwilling to migrate to the new engine to continue to enjoy the II./JG53 experience.
As such any pilots, Cliffs of Dover or IL2 46 modded, are welcome to join us at the present time.

I know I read it someplace in here but can’t find it right off, what nights do you fly the coops and at what time and time zone?

P.S. I am talking about IL2.
