I hope that no one here misunderstands what I am about to say. It's just that I do not understand why it is that parents with such young children should want to engage in such a dangerous sport.

We heard on the local news while we were away that a couple of Irish lads actually turned back as they thought an avalanche was imminent. They expressed surprise that those who were unfortunate enough to be caught up in it decided it was safe to continue.
Personally speaking I do not understand why anybody would want to do something that could kill them regardless of whether they have young families but I guess it's these differences that make the world go round.

That said obviously I'm very sorry to hear that people died but I do feel it could have been avoided.

All very sad though sad.gif
