Very busy and lovely evening last night, my house was just packed with my wonderful family .. Got to bed - with house spic and span by 3am..

Happy new year to all at JT, this really is a lovely oasis of calm amongst all the nastiness on the Internet.

We stayed in last night and watched the fireworks in London on TV, they came courtesy of Kimbolton Fireworks in Cambridgeshire.

One but last family member going home today - taking grandson back to Norfolk tomorrow, then its peace for a few days ( if we are lucky - ha ).

Had a lovely dinner at one of my daughter in-laws last night - first class .. First time she has cooked for 12 ..

Feeling rather lazy after a huge family get-together yesterday. Non-stop eating for hours.

Hope to pick-up some online sales bargains today (clothes). But that, and putting out the rubbish, is about as active as I will be today.

I spent a deal of time yesterday in A&E after I experienced chest pains.
I'm fine. Scared the sh1t out of myself and my poor brother who is visiting for the holidays. Sorry I don't want to go into detail, it was horrible, I thought my time had come. I still feel shaken.

Thanks Eddy. I dithered long and hard about making that post because it is something I really do not want to discuss. Still it was an incident that happened so I thought giving the barest of facts was proper. For anyone who expresses concern I am very grateful but again I simply cannot discuss this incident. It has preyed on my mind and caused me a couple of sleepless nights already. I now hope for a truly boring New Year....

My brother in law gets really severe crippling chest pain, necessitating an urgent trip to hospital on one occasion, but in his case it was found to be due to reflux oesophagitis.

Well where did today go ..

Got back from Norfolk last night about 10-30pm.

Up about 7-30 with taking the decorations down in mind, just stated them after breakfast and daughter in-law and grandson come for a couple of hours ..
So Dec's never came down fully till late afternoon. then there was dinner to do, so Im finally here ..

I am SO tired I'm off to bed very soon ..

I should have gone to the surgery to pick up my prescription today, but thought that with my luck I would most likely be hit by a flying wheelie bin, or a falling branch, so i stayed at home.

I finally managed to get out to town today!
I've bought a third little phone to appease my relations who are worried that I might fall again, what nonsense! I'm meant to wear it round my neck I can't see that lasting

My sisters sons got her a phone ( in case of illness / Fall etc ) but she never takes it with her when going up stairs .

No computer work done yesterday - will try today .

All Christmas Decs down and put away, Just the cards to be cut into present tags for next year but with my aching hand/wrist may take a little while ..
