Traci Bingham Joins Peta's Anti-KFC Fight

Actress Traci Bingham has joined her fellow Baywatch castmate Pamela Anderson in the animal rights crusade against fast food giant KFC.

Bingham, who has recently finished starring in British reality TV show Celebrity Big Brother, has written a letter in conjunction with animal rights campaigners People For The Ethical Treatment Of Animals (PETA), asking KFC to improve their treatment of chickens.

In a letter to David Fitzjohn, managing director of KFC's UK parent company Yum! International, she writes, "KFC should adopt the recommendations of PETA and its own animal welfare advisers. No animals should have to suffer, whether they're cats or dogs or chickens."

In 2002, Bingham stopped traffic in Berlin, Germany, by posing in a lettuce bikini in a PETA anti-fur campaign.

I like Traci, but she should have given Jodie some support when she challenged Pete Burns. Had she done so, perhaps PB would not have bullied Jodie so much.

Traci's a good sort. She probably didn't agree with the way that Jodie went about it and knew that the the best thing to do was to stop making the situation worse.

I think that she did the best thing and that was to maintain a dignified silence.

I disagree, jan. I reckon she and all the other celebs in there against fur, should have backed Jodie up and stuck by their principles. It gave credence to twisted pete's opinions when they kept silent about it.
