I am currently watching back to back programmes of the second series, which I recorded. I enjoyed the books, but the TV version seems far too violent for my taste, although I am still somewhat enthralled.
The TV series seems to be sticking fairly close to the book, and it is nice to see the characters in the flesh, even if there is rather too much female flesh on show.  --------------------  |

Sky Atlantic, Eddy. The books are massive tomes, very well written. The TV series seems to feature, amongst all the violence, a series of women ripping open their robes, displaying their naked fronts, and saying "take me I'm yours"

Sky Atlantic is one of the few channels that is not offered to cable television viewers.

Although I can't say you have missed much with the second series of Game of Thrones. I ended up by closing my eyes during all the scenes of gratuitous violence. -------------------- |
