 An introduction to JT Refugees
Posted by WhiteLady - 05-19-06 14:26 - 0 comments
JTR is a small community of internet friends who choose to meet together to chat & discuss & laugh & keep each other informed in our own very distinctive way.

JTR was set up by active members of the long-standing JT Forum, following the closure of that site. The JT Forum was originally set up to be a meeting place for all those that shared the same geeky interests as Jon Tickle, the Big Brother 4 contestant. As such it was never a traditional fan-site.

The JT Forum soon developed a life of its own, gradually losing the link to Jon Tickle, as it grew to reflect its members interests. There was always a lot of chat about RTV topics, particularly Big Brother. The reporting of BB news was always second to none other, a tradition that continues. Vibrant life-style, music, film, astrology, politics & science sections developed, as well as sections devoted to general chat & just having some fun. JT Refugees intends to continue this tradition. We are committed to continuing this pattern as we develop & build the site.

JT Refugees is an adult space on the net. That is not to say the under-18s are not welcome to join, of course they are. But it does mean that we insist on a mature, respectful & polite atmosphere throughout the site.

If you want to ask or request anything there is a Help and Questions forum, or any mod/admin (names highlighted in blue, and they are all "naughty tomatoes" - inspired by a Jon Tickle quote biggrin.gif ) will be happy to help you should you wish to send them a personal message.

JT Refugees is owned and run by its members, for its members & you are very welcome to join us.
