That would be amazing.

This sort of thing has happened before. For example with the fax machine. I am sure that I have read that the 'know-how' existed decades before it was bought into everyday use.

There is a very small bit of this in the science museum but it would be awesome to have a full sized one.

I hope it is possible and I think it could be, they managed to rebuild the colossus machine at Bletchley park, it took many years but it is now fully functioning.
