So, you posted your work and you look forward to hearing what the community has to say on it.

But how do I know when I get feedback without having to check the site every day?

It's actually very simple. Simply go to the little blue icon at the bottom left of your topic, all the way to the left of the "add reply", "fast reply", and "new topic" buttons. Once you've clicked it, you will see several options, the first being "track this topic".

Simply click the link and you will have subscribed to your topic. You will now receive an e-mail every time replies, alerting you of feedback. :)
