Q: So what's so great about this site, anyway?

A: When you join our site, you not only become a member of a great new place to share your work, but to receive constructive criticism, suggestions, and maybe even make a friend or two along the way! There's also plenty of others' work to read ;)


Q: The link to register doesn't seem to work. How am I supposed to join?

A: Depending on your web browser and operating system, the registration page can sometimes act a bit wonky. Here's the direct link to the form.


Q: I didn't receive my validation E-mail! What am I to do?

A: If, for some reason, you don't receive your validation E-mail after registering you can E-mail the admin at 310down@gmail.com and tell him what happened. After that he will manually validate your account.


Q: OK, I joined. Now what?

A: Simply post your work in the particular forum it belongs. It's that simple! But remember, it always helps to get your name out there by reviewing other peoples work, too.


Q: I posted some of my stories, but I made a typo in the title! How do I fix it?

A: You can contact the official moderator of that forum, or if you feel you have to, the admin himself. Just tell us what to change the title to. You can find all the various site staff in the "Members" tab at the top of the page, right next to the calendar.


Q: Hmm, this is pretty cool! The tight-knit community has given me a lot of feedback on my work. But I can't talk about my other interests :( Is this site only for writing?

A: Our main purpose is for the pursuit of creativeness, but that's certainly not our only function ;) In the Off-topic forum, you can talk about anything you want that isn't writing related (So long as they follow the rules, of course), from the latest TV shows, your favorite authors, to even the latest news in the world!


Q: I read through all the rules and guidelines, but I still have a question about something on the site?

A: If you have a question that you can't seem to find the answer to, you can start a new topic asking for help in the New Members Area. Once it's been answered, the topic will be closed. Or, if you prefer, you can privately contact an editor stating your problem.


Q: Is there any other way I can help around with the site?

A: Other than posting your work, reviewing others' work, and answering others' questions, you also help us out by spreading the word about our site. We can't be a great community without members!


Q: How do I spread the word?

A: You can subscribe to our YouTube page, follow us on Twitter, become a fan on Facebook, or any and every way in the literally hundreds of options on the share pod at the top left corner of all our pages. Of course, then there's always the best way of all: by word of mouth! Don't hesitate to tell your friends!


Q: What's this thing on all my posts right under my avatar and stats?

A: That would be the warning system. We have a topic right here if you'd like to read more about it.


Q: How do I change my username?

A: If you want to change your username, you would need to contact the admin requesting that you'd want it changed and telling him what you'd like it to be changed to.
