There once was a girl who never talked,
Not because she did not know how.
The reason the girl never talked is because...
… She had nothing to talk about.

Everyone she knew tried and tried
To start a conversation.
But everything that they tried
Just ended in aggravation.

One day the girl saw something new
Something she had never seen.
The girl wanted to tell everyone
But had forgotten how to scream.

The girl ran up to everyone
And tried to get their attention.
But when it came time for her to speak
she could only point in the right direction.

It made her very angry
That she'd forgotten how to talk.
So she ran home rather quickly
And grabbed a knife and a small pot.

This time she would make sure
That she would never talk again.
She slowly sawed off her tongue
And bled into the pan.
