Carly: What's going on?
Jax: Intervention.
Carly: It was one doughnut.
Michael: Take it easy, Mom.
Carly: No! I'm eating nothing but vegetables and cardboard for months. This kid's gonna come out with sprouts growing where hair should be. And you're doing this over one doughnut, Jax? Not funny!
Jax: It's not about the doughnut.
Morgan: But now we know you've been sneaking.
Jax: Yeah. [Laughs] No, this is--this is about our little girl and the fact that when she comes into this world, we would like to call her something besides Baby Girl Jacks. So...
Carly: There's plenty of time to pick out the baby's name, okay?
Kristina: I hate to break it to you, but you look like you're gonna pop any minute.
Carly: Thanks.
Morgan: And you promised me we could help pick out a name.
Molly: You know, the latest research shows that a baby recognizes its mother's voice even before it's born. It helps with attention, memory, and learning. So if you start calling her by name now, it'll really help you bond.
Kristina: I have some really good ideas.
Molly: Ooh, how about Tatiana? Or Ophelia?
Kristina: Ophelia drowned herself.
Carly: Okay. One condition. This baby's name has to start with a "J". That's how we do it in the Jacks family, right?

Morgan: So, how about Jeter?
Michael: Have you met our sister Jeter Jacks? No.
Kristina: Scarred for life. Therapy bill--cha-ching.
Morgan: Yeah, well, his name's Jasper.
Kristina: And no one calls him that.
Jax: Well, he is in the room.
Molly: I really like Juliet. You know, she's Shakespeare's most romantic heroine ever.
Kristina: Who died tragically.
Molly: So?!
Michael: I like Jessie.
Morgan: Like Jesse James?
Kristina: Like Jessica Simpson or Jessica Biel?
Jax: Or Jessica Rabbit.
Carly: How about something neutral? I could do neutral.
Jax: Yeah, I think we need to think outside the box here.
Molly: Jasmine.
Kristina: Jade.
Morgan: Or Joba.
Carly: Joba?
Jax: Pitcher for the Yankees.
Carly: Uh, not that far out of the box.
Jax: How about Jason? As a middle name, of course.
Michael: Jasmine Jason Jacks.
Jax: Yeah, well, the name has special meaning to your mother.
Carly: This is our baby.
Morgan: Yeah, and we already have someone named after Jason. Me.
Jax: Okay, so you don't like the idea.
Carly: You know what, you guys? Why don't you, um, I don't know, make me a list. Come up with a whole bunch of things, find out what the names mean, and I'll consider everything, I promise.
Kristina: I'm sure Molly can find some websites with good names.
Morgan: Am I the only one who knows how to type with all 10 fingers?
Michael: Hey, well, you're the best at it.
Carly: [Sighs] What was that? Some kind of test?

Girl: Mom. This is so not fair. It's my high school graduation and they want to put "Baby Girl Jacks" on my diploma. You promised me a name.
Jax: Test-driving the chair? How's it feel?
Carly: Oh, God, I guess I dozed off. I am so sorry that I accused you of testing me earlier.
Jax: No.
Carly: No, I mean you offering to let our little girl carry Jason's name is so... just so generous and selfless.
Jax: I thought it would make you happy.
Carly: You know, when I thought I couldn't love you anymore, you do something like this. I know what I want to name our little girl.

Michael: You guys are wasting your time. No matter what mom says, I know the real deal.
[Clears throat]
Kristina: What are you talking about?
Michael: Mom cannot wait to name that baby girl Jason.
Morgan: That's so not true.
Michael: Ok. I mean, come on. I've dealt with mom a lot longer than you guys have. I know how her mind works. And right now, she thinks that Jason is the best name for our baby sister. Molly: Ridiculous.
Morgan: What we need to do is come up with something better -- a name so right, even mom can't deny it.
Carly: I already did that. I have the name of your little sister, and it's perfect.
Michael: Here we go.
Carly: You ready?
Jax: Yeah. We're on the edge of our seats.
Carly: Hmm.
Morgan: Don't you already know?
Jax: No, I do not know, because I'm just the father.
Carly: I wanted to tell everyone together. That's what I wanted.
Michael: Ok. So, what is it? The baby's name is...
Carly: Josslyn John Jacks.
Jax: Not Jason.
Carly: No, not Jason.
Jax: Just kidding.
Kristina: So much for your scary intuition.
Michael: Mom, I'm shocked.
Carly: Yeah. So, your old mom has some surprises up her sleeve still, huh?
Morgan: I think I like it.
Molly: Oh, Josslyn -- it means "the merry one."
Carly: See? Perfect-- just like I said.
Jax: Thank you.
Carly: [Indistinct]
[Smooching]

[Knocking on door]
Jax: Ooh, what happened? Did Sonny find out Dante's undercover?
Olivia: No. It's Dante, but it's not that. Oh, god. It's Claudia. Claudia knows, Jax. She knows. She knows that Dominic is Dante, and she knows that Sonny's his father.
Jax: How'd that happen?
Olivia: [Sighs] My stupid cousin was running her mouth off outside of Jake's. And I told her, I begged her a million times, "please, please keep your mouth shut." But she couldn't do it. She wouldn't do it. Claudia was lurking somewhere around, and now I'm living my worst nightmare. Jax, I just -- oh, god,
Olivia: She wants me away from Johnny.
Jax: Could be worse.
Olivia: I just... I just want to kill her. I just want to rip her larynx out with my fingernails. I threw away the best man that I've ever known, Jax. A man that I -- I love him, and I trashed him today because that spiteful bitch has the power to blow my kid's life apart.
Jax: I'm sorry. I really am.
Olivia: Yeah, well, you know what? I know a couple things, too, ok? I know a couple things about what Claudia's done and a couple things about what she's capable of. Maybe it's time for me to start spilling, make that sociopath pay for what she did to Michael.

Molly: Oh, how about Jessica? It means "rich," 'cause come on, let's face it, that's what the baby's gonna be.
Carly: You don't like Josslyn?
Molly: No, it's not that. I just think you should consider all the options. Oh, here's one-- Jadwiga. Polish.
Carly: Hmm.
Molly: It means "the contentious one," which is perfect for your daughter. No offense.
Kristina: Let it rest, Molly. Carly gets to name her daughter whatever she wants.
Carly: What do you think?
Kristina: Josslyn John Jacks... it's different. Josslyn's ok. It reminds me of joss Stone. But John I'm not so sure about.
Carly: That's Jax's father's name.
Kristina: Well, there you go.
Michael: Yeah, and I mean, it doesn't even matter 'cause in the end, whatever you name her, you're gonna find a way to call the baby Jace. What do you want to bet?
Carly: That's a bet you're gonna lose, and you will be so, so sorry.
Claudia: I'm sorry, Michael. I never meant for you to get shot. I was trying to protect my brother, not that that excuses what I did.
Carly: Michael? You ok?
Morgan: Michael's been doing that a lot lately.
Carly: Hey. Michael?
Michael: What? Huh?
Carly: I don't know. You just kind of checked out for a minute there. Were you remembering something else?

Jax: I understand that you're angry, ok?
Olivia: Angry? Angry, Jax, angry does not begin to cover what's going on in here.
Jax: Ok, ok. You want to tear Claudia apart. I understand that. But you've got to be careful not to overreact in the heat of the moment. Besides, what Claudia did to Michael is not your secret to tell. It's mine. When Carly gives birth, and she's safe, I will deal with Claudia. Ok?
Olivia: What if I can't wait that long?

Carly: Ok. I tell you what. You each can pick one name, and one name only, and if you don't come up with something that I like better than Josslyn John, end of discussion. Fair?
Morgan: Fair.
Carly: Ok. And Michael, can you run in the kitchen and get me a glass of water? I'm thirsty. Need to stay hydrated.
Michael: Yeah, sure.
Carly: Thanks.
Carly: Kristina. Did that happen a lot when you guys were in Mexico?
Kristina: What?
Carly: Did Michael get really quiet and just zone out?
Kristina: Mmm. Once or twice, maybe, but more concerned it happens a lot more now.
Carly: Was there one specific thing that would set him off, that would trigger this?
Kristina: To tell you the truth, I haven't really given it much thought.
Carly: Ok. Well, that's what I'm asking you to do now. Is there any specific--
[Glass shatters]
Michael: Stop talking about me, and stop monitoring my every move! And stop asking me to remember stuff which I shouldn't even know!

Olivia: You know, I could be flexible. I don't have to tell Sonny that Claudia was responsible for his kid almost getting killed.
Jax: Oh, that's good.
Olivia: I'll just go right to Jason. He would love to know what Claudia did. And she could say whatever she wanted. Jason wouldn't give a damn. He would shoot that bitch right where she stood and make the world a better place.
Jax: And you could live with that, hmm? Being the reason Jason killed someone?
Olivia: Someone? It's Claudia, Jax. Yeah. I would think that I was protecting all the people that I love from the heinous acts that she will definitely commit in the future. I'd feel like I was protecting Johnny from her sick, twisted obsession. I was protecting my son from finding out his father is the very thing that he fights against every time he picks up a badge. So, yeah. I could carry that on my conscience to protect the people that I love.

Michael: Stop talking down to me. If you don't want to see me angry, then back the hell off.

Olivia: You know that all I have to do is tell Jason that Claudia's responsible for Michael getting shot, and she'll be dead within the hour.
Jax: You're not going to do that.
Olivia: Yeah? Try me.
Jax: The only reason you know the truth is because of me. I will handle this. Now, you let Dante do his job. Once he shuts down the Corinthos organization, sonny will go to prison, and Claudia will be right beside him.

Jax: No one has ever gotten deeper into the Corinthos organization than your son. He's about to bring them all down. Claudia's so entrenched in Sonny's business, she's going to go to prison, too.
Olivia: And if she goes, Johnny goes, too.
Jax: Well, not necessarily. But if it happens, Johnny knew the risk.
[Olivia sighs]
Olivia: I'm just so afraid that if sonny finds out about Dante, it's going to ruin Dante's life, Jax.
Jax: You're protecting your son by breaking up with Johnny and making Claudia think that she's winning. Ok? You're buying your son time to do his job. And Claudia's so focused on hurting you, she doesn't really know what's going on.
Olivia: Yes. I begged him, Jax. I begged him to find another case, to find another syndicate to bring down, but he wouldn't do it. And now, because my kid is so good at his job, he's the criminal that he's actually chasing is his father.

Carly: You know we weren't talking about you in a negative way. We're on your side. I have no doubt that you can control this anger, Michael.
Michael: Let go of me.
Carly: I'll let go of you when I know you're ok. I get that you're upset, but you don't have to fall apart. It's a choice right now.
Michael: OK.
Michael: I'm good. I'm good.
Morgan: You did it. You didn't flip out.
Molly: Congratulations.
Michael: I didn't meant to scare you guys, ok? I'm sorry.
Carly: Hey, you just shut down a rage episode. Give yourself a little credit. After you clean up that broken glass.
Michael: Sure.
Morgan: I'll get a dustpan.
Kristina: You seemed pretty cool when we were in Mexico. What's so different here?
Michael: I mean, I just -- I was in charge of my own life, you know? Nobody expected anything, and I could just live.
Carly: So you feel like that here, huh?
Michael: I know you guys all love me, and I love you, too. It's just I have all these things inside, and the tiniest thing can set me off.
Molly: So what's inside? Memories?
Michael: Yeah, and I mean, I can't make sense of them at all. I can't control them, and they're coming back faster and faster now.
Molly: Man, that must be very disconcerting.
Michael: Yeah, it's weird. And it just makes me mad, and then, I lose control and then do something stupid.
Morgan: I have an idea.
Carly: We're listening.
Morgan: Why don't you tell us everything you do remember, and then, we'll help you sort it all out. That way, you won't be so mad.

Jax: Let me help you, ok? I'll transfer you to another hotel for a while. There's no reason for you to stay in town and watch the collapse of the Corinthos empire.
Olivia: I'm not leaving Dante.
Jax: All right. Fine. If you're not going to leave, the best thing for you to do is just let it play out. I mean, there's a good chance that you and Dante will walk away from this without a scratch, right?
Olivia: Always, the optimist, Jax. [Chuckles]
Jax: No reason to expect the worst in any situation, is there?
Olivia: You know, I spent my whole life trying to protect my kid from the mob, and now look where he is. He's deeper in than any cop has ever been.
Jax: He's exactly where he wants to be.
Olivia: I know that, but I just -- I know that Claudia's got another move up her sleeve. I can just feel it.
Jax: Maybe. But if you tell sonny the truth, she loses her power over you, and his focus will be shifted somewhere else. Believe me, she does not want that.
Olivia: I never meant to hurt anyone, you know, certainly not Dante. And not Johnny, either. I just -- I never meant to care about him this much. You know? It was just supposed to be a stupid fling or some romantic adventure. But he just -- he gets to me, Jax. I can't explain it, you know? He just makes me feel like anything's possible. I can't believe I'm going to let that psycho bitch take him away from me.

Carly: We need to respect Michael's privacy about his memories, ok? He gets to decide what to tell us and when.
Morgan: Wouldn't you feel better if you got it all sorted out?
Michael: Well, I'm not even sure that's possible, you know, because they just come back in these flashes -- a face here, a voice there -- and then, I'll hear a word in real time, and it triggers a memory.
Molly: Words like what?
Michael: Just regular words, you know, uh, like "I'm sorry" and "we miss you" and that kind of stuff. I never know what's going to, you know, trigger a memory.
Morgan: Well I do. You remember when they brought you home, and I tried to wake you up to play a video game?
Michael: No, not at all. What was that all about?
Carly: I didn't want to put you in the aftercare institute, so I brought you home, and we set you up in your old room.
Morgan: And I tried to wake you up, but I couldn't.
Michael: I'm sorry, bro.
Carly: Well, that's when I realized that you needed more care than I could give you, so. But you know, it doesn't matter, because you recovered. And I don't care when you remember. You're home. That's all I care about.
Morgan: This is where she usually starts crying.
Carly: Don't pick on me. I'm pregnant.
Michael: I'm sorry, mom.
Carly: Oh, baby, they're happy tears. They are.
[Doorbell rings]
Carly: Oh. [Sniffles]
Morgan: I'll get it.
Carly: Oh, don't you --
Kiefer: Hey. I'm here to pick up molly and K.
Kristina: Hey, molly, you ready? We got to get home. Thanks for picking us up.
Michael: What is wrong with you, Kristina? Why e hell would you call him?

Michael: Why do you want to spend any time with this jerk? He had you in tears in Mexico. He's rude to you at school.
Kristina: No, he's not. Kiefer offered to pick us up because my mom was busy and it would save viola a trip.
Michael: He upsets you on purpose, and that stupid phone? I mean, come on.
Kristina: Michael, it's just a ride home.
Michael: I could have given you a ride.
Molly: Sorry, Michael. Mom says we're not allowed to ride with you.
Morgan: Maybe you should all get going.
Kiefer: Hey, look, man. I didn't mean to upset you, ok? K. just wanted a ride home.
Carly: Michael.
Kristina: Michael, stop!
Jax: Hey, hey, hey! Break it up, break it up! Are you ok?
Carly: Yeah! I'm ok.
Kristina: Did he hurt you?
Michael: Kristina, what?
Kristina: Come on, molly. Let's go.
Molly: Bye, Morgan.
Michael: Kristina.
Jax: You sure you're ok?
Carly: Yeah, I'm fine. I have no dizziness, nothing. I'm ok.
Jax: Michael, what about you?
Michael: I'm sorry, ok? I'm sorry. I'm good. I can't believe I went off again. I mean, yeah, Kiefer's a dirt bag, but I should have had some self control.
Carly: I think you need to tell me about these memories t you're having. I want to hear everything that u have bottled up inside.

Michael: I hate Kiefer, but I should have never lost it like that. You sure you're ok?
Carly: I'm fine. And I would tell you if I weren't.
Michael: I'm so sorry.
Jax: It's ok, Michael. You don't have to keep apologizing.
Carly: Yeah. And we can't forget that you were able to calm down that rage earlier, and he did it sooner than later. You can't forget that. Do you think these memories are contributing to these rage attacks that you're having?
Michael: I don't know. Maybe.
Morgan: Then why don't you just tell us everything you remember?
Jax: He will when he's ready.
Michael: I just hate -- you know, the minute I see Kiefer, I get pissed off. I don't like the way he treats Kristina.
Jax: This isn't about Kiefer. This is about you. So how do you want to handle this?
Michael: Ix: Don't know. I don't have any control of any part of my life anymore -- not the rage, not the memories. I don't know when they're going to come or hit or what they're going to be about, or if they're going to be true or not. It's just all this stuff is inside me. I feel like it's going to explode. And then, when I see a jerk like Kiefer --
Morgan: I don't like him either, if that's any consolation.
[Michael sighs]
Michael: I still don't know what I'm going to do.
Jax: Stay away from Kiefer, for a start.
Carly: Seems to be a trigger for you.
Michael: How am I supposed to stay away from Kiefer when I see him every day at school?
Carly: We'll take you out of that school. That's not a problem?
Jax: Yeah. You can change schools, if that's what you want.
Michael: I mean, in a way, but Kristina needs me. I don't want to leave her.

[Door closes]
Coleman: She's been in labor about 10 minutes.
Carly: Ohh.
Coleman: Look, are you sure they're contractions?
Carly: Yes, I'm sure they're contractions! I know a contraction when I feel one.
Coleman: She's sure. This will be her third kid, ma'am. I think we can trust her on this.
Carly: Let me talk to them. Listen to me. It is too soon for me to have this baby. You have got to do something to stop it.
Coleman: Ok. Did you get that? We need an ambulance now. And make sure these guys know what the hell they're doing.
Carly: Ohh. Oh, god.
Johnny: Hey, it's ok, because women used to have babies in fields. They would just squat down, baby would pop right out--
Carly: Shut up. Just shut up. I am not having this baby in a field.
Johnny: Ok--
Carly: I'm not having this baby in a parking lot. And do not ask Coleman to get any clean towels, because it's not happening.
Johnny: Ok. But if your baby is coming this fast, you're not--
Carly: Then we are gonna get to the hospital faster. Shut up!
Coleman: Tell 'em it's an emergency, man!
Carly: Oh, god. [Sobbing]
Coleman: You know what? Forget it. I'll drive her to the hospital myself. And if anything happens, you better damn well hope your insurance is paid up, lady. You got it?
Carly: Ok. [Panting]
Coleman: All right.
Carly: Ohh.
Coleman: It's all good, Carly. You're riding with me, hon. Come on.
Carly: Ok. Help me up.
Coleman: Ok. Ok.
Johnny: [Grunts]
Coleman: Johnny, you ride in the back with her, ok?
Johnny: All right.
Carly: Oh, great.
Coleman: Just go easy. Easy...

Jax: Sorry about that.
Olivia: That's ok. I just... I just wanted to tell you in person and thank you for listening to me. And now the subject is closed.
Jax: You don't really believe that, do you? I mean, Claudia knows that Dominic is really Dante, your child with Sonny. She's not gonna let him walk away quietly.
Olivia: Yeah, but she has no idea that he's a cop. What reason would she have to tell Sonny now?
Jax: How about spite? Or the fact that she hates you for being with her brother.
Olivia: I know, I know.
Jax: I mean, if that's really over.
Olivia: I know. And I get it. I know better than to trust Claudia, but, Jax, she got what she wanted. All right, she broke us up. Johnny and I... we're ruined now. And I may just have to live with that in order to keep Dante and Sonny out of each other's lives.
Jax: Listen to me. Dante made it to the inner circle of the Corinthos organization. No one has ever done that before. No cop has ever done that before, ok. And I don't think anyone ever will again.
Olivia: And what is your point?
Jax: He's in the perfect position to bring Sonny down. Ok, I'm sure he wants to finish his job.
Olivia: You would really like that, wouldn't you, Jax? Who gives a damn what happens to my kid, right, as long as he gets Sonny out of your life.

Coleman: We got a woman in labor here.
Carly: God, I need to sit down.
Epiphany: You're not due yet, are you?
Carly: No! I need dr. Lee.
Epiphany: When did your cramping start?
Carly: Oh, they're not cramps. It's labor. I've been through this twice.
Epiphany: Ok, how far apart are your contractions?
Carly: Get me dr. Lee or I'm gonna scream so loud everyone's gonna come running.
Epiphany: Will you please breathe and answer the question? How close are your contractions?
Carly: They're 4 minutes apart, and they're about a minute long.
Epiphany: Oh, you do need dr. Lee.
Carly: Exactly.
Epiphany: When did they start?
Johnny: About 20 minutes ago in the parking lot at Jake's.
Epiphany: Oh, that's a nice place for a mother-to-be.
Coleman: Hey, it was just an order of fries. If she hadn't come to me, she'd have gone somewhere else, so it's not my fault if this kid comes early, ok?
Carly: She's not coming early. I just need--oh! Oh! Oh, god.
[Panting]
Johnny: I think your daughter has other ideas.

Jax: Sonny chose to be a criminal. Ok, he breaks the law, he keeps breaking the law, and he has to pay.
Olivia: And I get it that you may care about justice and the law, but your reasons for wanting Sonny to go down are purely personal here.
Jax: Well, I'll have to admit, it's hard to be objective.
Olivia: Well, think about it this way. You see Sonny as a danger to your family, right? You love Michael and Morgan as if they were your own. Carly is having your baby. You would do anything to protect them. Right? Please try and understand that I feel exactly the same way about my own kid.
Jax: I do, Olivia. I only want the best for you and Dante. Ok, but his situation's pretty complicated.
Olivia: Well, let me simplify it for you, all right. If Dante leaves town, he's safe. If he stays here, people find out he's undercover, he's a dead man.
Jax: Give your kid some credit. He's obviously good at his job.
Olivia: Yeah, and his superiors have assessed the situation, they've decided that it's too great a risk. End of case. Case closed.
Jax: All right, you want him safe. What about what he wants? I mean, he's risking his life for the greater good. I mean, personally I find that quite admirable.
Olivia: Slightly less an objective reasoning, Jax.
Jax: I'm sure that's his reasoning as well.
Olivia: Jax, if Sonny finds out that Dante's undercover, I will have to step in. Hopefully, hopefully before Dante gets killed, I'll have to tell them that they're father and son, ok. I have been protecting Dante from Sonny his entire life. I have no intention of stopping now. Dante's off the case. Dominic Pirelli is leaving port Charles for good.
Jax: [Sighs] This is jasper jacks. I need to set up a meeting with the senator as soon as possible.

Carly: [Panting] How's the baby?
Kelly: Heartbeat is normal. No signs of fetal distress.
Carly: Oh, god.
Johnny: Come on, breathe, Carly.
Carly: [Grunts]
Coleman: There you go.
Johnny: Ok, ok. I read somewhere you're supposed to breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth. All right.
Coleman: She's having a baby here, man. She knows how to breathe.
Epiphany: You just let me know and I'll get these 2 expert birth coaches out of here.
Carly: They're actually helping.
Johnny: Yeah, see.
Carly: They're so annoying, they're distracting--oh, my god, the contractions.
Kelly: Ok, they're coming faster now.
Carly: You got to make them stop.
Kelly: So far the medication to stop your labor isn't working.
Johnny: I'm sorry. If I would have known that French fries could bring on labor, I would have stopped her.
Kelly: You were eating French fries?
Carly: Yes. I didn't now they'd hurt the baby.
Kelly: They wouldn't have caused you to go into labor.
Coleman: You get a month's worth of potato shooters on the house with that news, doc.
Johnny: Is it ok if the baby is born this early?
Kelly: The baby's a good weight and shows every sign of being healthy. Ideally, I'd like to see you carry this baby a few more weeks--
Carly: You got to give me more medicine, Kelly. You got to do something to stop the labor.

Jax: Hey. Where's Carly?
Epiphany: Follow me. Prepare yourself, it's pretty crowded in there.
Coleman: At least we know it's not the fries.
Carly: [Panting]
Jax: Hey. Are you ok?
Carly: Oh!
Jax: Are you in labor?
Coleman: Look, it's cool, Jax. Dr. Lee's got it covered.
Jax: What are these guys doing here?
Carly: Aah!
Johnny: Well, I am doing a pretty good job at helping her breathe.
Coleman: And Carly is an old hand at this. She's handling these contractions like a pro.
Jax: How can you be in labor already?
Carly: Ohh.
Jax: And why are Coleman and Johnny coaching you?
Johnny: I was in the parking lot at Jake's.
Coleman: She came by my place for an order of fries.
Johnny: Carly was leaving, and then we started talking and she got in my head.
[Both talking at once]
Jax: Ok, ok. Stop. So let me get this straight. She was in the Jake's parking lot eating French fries when she went into labor. Is that--
Carly: I had no idea fries would hurt the baby.
Jax: Fries didn't hurt the baby. It's ok. It's ok. We're gonna get through this together.
Kelly: Jax, I'm glad you're here.
Jax: Hi. How's the baby?
Kelly: Vital signs are holding steady, but we haven't been able to slow Carly's labor. We need to discuss the possibility of a c-section, because there is a very good chance your baby will be born tonight.

Carly: This can't happen. It's too soon. Our little girl can't be born.
Jax: Is there anything you can do to stop the labor?
Kelly: I'm giving Carly medication that might.
Jax: There's no guarantees?
Kelly: So far, there's been no effect.
Carly: Okay, well, be honest. If our little girl is born tonight, what are her chances of survival?

Kelly: It's always preferable for a mother to carry to term. If labor begins prematurely, there are a few steps we can take to try and stop it. We've taken those steps, and I know it's frustrating, but we're in a holding pattern.
Carly: Okay, but I'm asking you, if the labor can't be stopped, does our little girl have a chance?
Kelly: Hey. I need you to calm down, okay? Try and think positive thoughts. We'll take this one step at a time.
Jax: Thanks, Dr. Lee.
Kelly: Okay.
Carly: [Sighs] Come on, baby girl, you gotta pitch in and help. You just gotta stay in mommy's belly a little longer. We're gonna do it together.
Coleman: Damn straight. In fact, that little mama in there is already strong as an ox. Those fries I've been sneaking you, they are chockfull of potassium and vitamin C.
Jax: How'd you do that?
Coleman: Well, I prep 'em with the skins on. And that's where you get all your nutrients.
Johnny: Hey. Uh-uh. You just keep talking to your baby. Just like that. The two of you, you know, working together, you'll pull through.

Carly: [Breathing deeply]
Jax: How did that one feel?
Carly: It seemed a little less, I think. But it could just be wishful thinking. Oh, God, Jax, I'm scared.
Jax: Hey. You don't have to be scared.
Carly: I'm scared and I just don't want our baby to feel how scared I am.
Jax: You don't have to be scared, okay? I'm right here with you. Everything's gonna be fine. Whatever happens tonight, the baby's gonna be fine. Okay?
Carly: Okay.
Jax: Okay.
Carly: I know. Okay.
Jax: Okay.
[Footsteps]
Coleman: Hey. Heh. I thought ice chips might come in handy. You gotta be parched, right? I mean, heartfelt thanks to the man upstairs, but, uh, I've never been around anybody having contractions, and I just-- I didn't realize they were so intense.
Johnny: I, uh, I found this in the gift shop. It's a storybook. I don't know, I figured maybe the sound and the cadence of your voices would calm the baby down a little bit.
Carly: Thank you. This is so sweet. Both of you. So thoughtful. Thanks so much.
Coleman: Well, hey, don't go spreading it around.
Johnny: Yeah, right.
Coleman: We got images to maintain.
Johnny: Is there anything else we can do to help?
Jax: I think we got it from here.
Carly: Yeah.
Jax: Thank you both for staying with Carly and the baby. I appreciate it.
Johnny: Yeah, glad we could be there.
Coleman: If we're all good in there...
Carly: Yeah.
Coleman: I'm out.
Jax: Thank you.
Coleman: All right.
Carly: Okay.
Johnny: Uh...I can stick around in the waiting room if you guys want--if you need a doctor muscled or anything.
Jax: Uh, no, that's--
Carly: No.
Jax: That's very kind of you.
Carly: But I appreciate it.
Johnny: Yeah.
Carly: You should go home and sleep it off and... everything will be better in the morning.
Johnny: Yeah. All right.
Jax: Thanks.
Carly: [Groaning]
Jax: That was, uh-- ohh, hey. Everything's gonna be fine.
Carly: Yeah, I know. Okay.
Jax: Yeah. Yeah, it'll be good. It'll be just fine.

Jax: Baby's heartbeat's stronger. That's good.
Carly: No more contractions. Maybe we're out of the woods.
Jax: Well, let's hope so.
Carly: Oh, God, if we are. I mean, if we're lucky enough to have dodged this bullet, I am going to stay in bed and be happy about it until we bring this little girl into the world.
Jax: I know you will.
Carly: I'm sorry. I'm sorry I'm such a pain.
Jax: No. Are you kidding me? You and the baby are the best thing that ever happened to me. You're not a pain.
Carly: This little girl deserves everything we can give her. And she's gonna be okay. She is. She's gonna be perfect.

Kelly: Hi.
Jax: Hi.
Carly: We've been reading to the baby. I think it's calmed her down. Am I right?
Kelly: Labor's stopped.
Carly: Yes.
Kelly: Last I checked, you were only 2 centimeters dilated.
Carly: Okay, so...what happens next?
Kelly: I want to keep you overnight. If the labor doesn't start again and you don't dilate any further, I'll send you home. We'll hope you carry to term.
Carly: What do you mean, hope?
Kelly: I don't want to dampen your relief, but I have to be straight with you. You and the baby aren't home free. Avoid stress like the plague, or premature labor could start again at any time.

Jax: The officer in question is in the perfect position to bring down a major crime figure. It's a win for everyone involved. Thank you, sir.
[Sonny laughs]
Carly: Good morning, honey. Look who came to visit?
Jax: That's funny. I was just talking about you.

Jax: I guess somebody told you about our close call last night.
Carly: That would be Coleman.
Jax: Oh.
Carly: He was trying to cover his butt.
Sonny: He went on and on about how Dr. Lee swore that the contraband French fries did not cause the labor.
Carly: He was my secret supplier. But she did say the French fries did not hurt the baby.
Sonny: And I just came by to make sure that her and the baby are okay.
Carly: We're fine. We are. And every bit of my energy is going to go into carrying this baby to term. And you guys can help me with that.

Carly: Kelly was able to stop the labor with medication, but she made it clear that this baby could be born at any time. I need to have peace of mind, and it would help if you guys could bury the hatchet... somewhere besides in each other's backs.
Sonny: Well, we've done a pretty good job of staying out of each other's way, right, Jax?
Jax: Well, we both want what's best for you and the baby, and the boys.
Sonny: I'll do whatever you need to make sure you and the baby girl are all good.
Carly: See? My stress levels are just going down and down.
Sonny: I need something from you now that would help me out a lot. Stop sneaking French fries.
[Carly sighs]
Sonny: You know what? You're a lucky man.
Jax: Thank you.
Carly: I know that wasn't easy.
Jax: No.
Carly: And I love you. I love you for putting aside all that bitter history between you and making peace with Sonny.

Olivia: We need to talk.
Jax: All right. Well, good news first. Carly made it through the night without going back into labor. So she was released from the hospital a half hour ago.
Olivia: Hmm. You must be so relieved.
Jax: Yeah, I'm hoping that she'll listen to the doctors this time and take it easy, but in case she doesn't, I'd appreciate it if you keep an eye on her, let me know if she pushes herself too hard.
Olivia: Himm. [Chuckles] Must be nice to have someone you can count on to take care of the people that you love. I thought we were friends, Jax. I thought I could trust you. But now Dante is back on the case, risking his life every minute of every day.
Jax: Being an undercover cop is a dangerous job.
Olivia: You did this! You called in favors, and you got Dante put back on the case because you don't give a damn about anything at all except getting Sonny out of our lives and behind bars. Dante's just a means to an end to you.
Jax: No, that is not true.
Olivia: Which part? You talk all you want about your noble motives, Jax. This is between you and Sonny.
Carly: What about Jax and Sonny?

Jax: What are you doing here? After the scare we had last night, you should be home resting.
Olivia: Yeah, if you went into premature labor, you shouldn't be out running around.
Carly: I'm not running around. Dr. Lee called me in for more tests. I thought you'd want to go, so I stopped by to pick you up.
Jax: Yeah.
Carly: Guess I walked in on something about you and Sonny. Somehow involves Olivia. What's going on?
Jax: Well... All right. I have a confession to make.

Jax: I know it meant a lot to you that Sonny came by the hospital.
Carly: It was a very nice gesture, don't you think?
Jax: Yeah, there was obvious good will behind it.
Carly: Sonny agreed to play nice. At least until the baby is born.
Jax: Just, I'm not inclined to take Sonny at his word and hope for the best.
Carly: Sonny will keep his word.
Jax: Well, you're allowed to believe that. I just, I'm a little bit more cautious where he's concerned, ok? I worry so that you don't have to.
Carly: Don't you just want to bottle him?
Jax: If the baby's born early, there could be complications. I have to do everything I can to make sure that you're safe and healthy. And even though Sonny may have meant what he said at the time, his life is stressful, ok?
Carly: I get all that. I'm just not real clear where Olivia fits in all of this.
Jax: I asked her to use her influence to keep Johnny away from you until the baby's born.
Carly: Oh, are you kidding me? That is not necessary.
Olivia: I really--I think I got to side with Jax on this one.
Carly: Ok, is there where you guys gang up on me?
Olivia: All Jax wants is to keep his kids safe. What parent could argue with that?

Patrick: Yes, I do realize that this is the second time I've called, but I can't go home until I see those labs. I haven't seen my daughter all day, so can you please just hurry up. Thank you.
Jax: Patrick.
Patrick: Yeah?
Jax: Have you seen dr. Lee?
Patrick: She got called into an emergency c-section.
Jax: Any idea how long it'll take? I gotta talk to her about Carly's test results.
Patrick: I don't know, Jax. It could be a while.
Jax: Thanks. I'll wait.
[Patrick sighs] I gotta wait, too. For labs.
Jax: Hmm.
Patrick: It's not what I do best, this waiting part. I saw Carly got admitted last night and she was released this morning. Is everything ok?
Jax: Yeah. Yeah, she's fine. She, uh...she went into early labor last night, uh, in Jake's parking lot, of all places.
Patrick: I was at Jake's last night. I didn't see her.
Jax: It was after hours.
Patrick: Uh, what was Carly doing in Jake's parking lot after hours?
Jax: French fries.
Patrick: French fries?
Jax: Yeah, she was getting French fries. Coleman has been sneaking them to her for months every other week.
Patrick: That's --
Jax: When I got to the hospital, uh, there was Coleman and Johnny Zacchara, who was a little drunk, trying to be her birthing coaches.
Patrick: That's -- I'm sorry, Jax, it's actually not that funny. She's all right, I take it.
Jax: She's fine. Yeah, yeah. Whoever said that marriage was boring has never met my wife, that's for sure.
Patrick: Trust me, I could say the same.
Jax: Really?
Patrick: Oh, yeah. You know, I never really imagined myself being married. But now that I am, I, uh, well, I wouldn't change anything, you know, I -- that wild man from med school's pretty well settled down.
Jax: Yeah? You miss those days?
Patrick: Nah, not much. Not at all, really.
Jax: Neither do I. No matter how glamorous my life used to be, I wouldn't change the way my life is now for anything.

Jax: Not being very subtle, are you?
Dominic: Well, sonny's out of town. I was just picking up some things for Bernie.
Jax: Anything I can do to help?
Dominic: You got me reinstated, didn't you?
Jax: No need to thank me. You just make sure that sonny Corinthos goes to prison.

Dominic: You know, we really shouldn't be talking here.
Jax: The guards told me that sonny and Claudia were out of the country, so...
Dominic: All that means is that somebody else has to be watching.
Jax: You sure there's nothing I can do to help you?
Dominic: The only thing you could do to help me is to get the hell out of here. Don't drag me into your Corinthos vendetta. I need to build a case that will stand up in court. That's my job. I don't want your involvement on any level.
Jax: I don't care what you want. I want Corinthos behind bars. You understand?

Jax: A nice little foot rub. That relaxes you, right?
Carly: I like it when you give me the foot rub. Way more fun.
Jax: Can you just pretend that it was me? I mean, you probably wouldn't be able to tell, anyway, because your belly's so big --
Carly: That's really weird.
Jax: You just kind of -- not going to happen? No?
Carly: Mm-mm. I'll pass.
Jax: Okay.
Carly: Since when did you and Kelly get together and discuss how to keep me immobilized and relaxed?
Jax: Dr. Lee and I are on the same page when it comes to keeping this baby girl inside you for another few weeks. Okay?
Carly: I won't argue. I won't argue. And lounging around the house sounds nice. But I did promise Morgan I would take him over to Sonny's.
Jax: Sonny's out of town.
Carly: Really?
Jax: Yep.
Carly: How do you know that?

Jax: I went over to Sonny's last night to try to talk to him about keeping your stress levels down, at least for the last few weeks of the pregnancy.
Carly: Well, you must have been pretty persuasive. Not many people can talk Sonny into leaving town.
Jax: No. You can't give me that much credit, because he was already gone.
Carly: He left town?
Jax: Mm-hmm.
Carly: He usually tells me when he's leaving town. In fact, him not telling me means he doesn't want me to worry, which makes me worry even more.
Jax: Okay. Okay.
Carly: What's going on?
Jax: Would you please -- people go on vacations, okay? Claudia and Sonny probably went off on a little romantic getaway. Just --
Carly: Oh, come on.
Jax: No, ser -- if you get upset again, you're going to go into preterm labor, and do you really want that? Do you want to upset your husband, hmm?
Carly: First, you had a secret meeting behind my back, and now, you're using blackmail?
Jax: Well, whatever works.
Carly: I like it.
Jax: Really?
Carly: Yeah. I like it when you get ruthless. It's extremely sexy.
Jax: Ahh. Mmm.

Jax: Carly, you're getting sick of me hovering, aren't you?
Carly: No. I know your heart's in the right place. You're just being a loving father, not to mention a wonderful, supportive husband. And besides, someone needs to protect our little girl from my occasionally unreliable impulses.
Jax: You? Mmm.
Carly: I know I can be, let's say, impulsive at times. And I don't always make the best decisions. And if I don't, you know, take your advice, it's not because I love you less. It's because I love you more.
Jax: Of course.
Carly: I mean not many people would put up with my idiosyncrasies.
Jax: You're not that bad.
Carly: Come on. You know there are times when you're ready to jump on your jet and fly off to Monte Carlo and leave all this behind.
Jax: You make my life sound very glamorous.
Carly: You are glamorous.
Jax: Really?
Carly: You're damn sexy. And don't you think for one minute that I don't appreciate you giving up all your corporate raiding and your international adventures just to stay home with me and monitor my green vegetable intake.
Jax: I have absolutely no problem with the fact that my priorities have shifted. In fact, Dr. Drake and I were talking about this very thing last night at the hospital.
Carly: Oh, really? Wow.
Jax: Yes, we were.
Carly: You guys must have a lot in common. The reformed playboys? Hmm. Look, you traded it all in for commitment, baby formula, and diaper duty?
Jax: Yep.
Carly: You got the better wife, though.
Jax: Absolutely. No argument there. My decision to be with you and have a family has made me happier than I've ever been in my life. I love you.
Carly: I love you.

[Jax sighs]
[Knock on door]
Alexis: Hi.
Jax: Hey.
Alexis: You have a minute?
Jax: Yeah, absolutely. For you, anytime. Come on in. What's going on?
Alexis: I wanted to talk to you some more about Michael.
Jax: What's going on with Michael?
[Alexis sighs]
Alexis: I want to just explain more about why I made the decision that I made, and how guilty and awful I feel about it, and how sorry I am that I upset Carly and, worse, Michael, because he doesn't deserve it. It's not his fault, none of it. And then, you're in the middle.
Jax: Yeah, in more ways than one.
Alexis: Jerry. [Sighs]
Jax: I've decided to tell Carly the truth once the baby's born. I know that the whole situation is going to blow up in everyone's face, especially mine.
Alexis: But you didn't do anything wrong.
Jax: I don't think Carly will see it that way. I can hope, but I kept my brother's secret. I allowed him to continue after the Metro Court incident, and that led to Michael being shot.
Alexis: Jax, you were trying to protect Carly, who is having a high-risk pregnancy. You don't think that's going to carry any weight?
Jax: Michael almost died because of my brother's actions, so -- I don't know how Carly's going to react, but I'm prepared for the worst.

Carly: Yeah. They're for the lobby. Well, just call Kako over at the florist and make sure they're be delivered by tomorrow. Thanks, Olivia. Oh, do me a favor -- don't tell Jax that I called. Okay. Bye. Hey. Uh, wait. Did your dad mention to you that he was going out of town?

Michael: No. Why?
Carly: No reason. I guess it was last minute. No big deal.
Michael: Maybe he took off 'cause he's trying to give me some space.
Carly: Why would you say that?
Michael: 'Cause I freaked out on him again, for no reason. You know, he was trying to help me figure out. I was being totally cool. And then, I just got all pissed off again and lost it. I don't understand why my brain just goes there, you know? I hate it.
Carly: It's okay. It's going to take time. And your dad knows that, Michael.
Michael: I just wish the whole memory thing would just stop, you know, and go away. I can't stand not being able to control it or control how angry I'm going to get when it happens, you know? I -- Like some freak, you know? I'm just afraid that something bad's going to happen.
Carly: Don't say that. You're fine. And besides, what bad thing is going to happen from your memories?
Ramona, voiceover: Some villains are vague. Some are clear. Some are standing by the bed. Some are in the mirror.

Carly: Michael. Michael?
Michael: Uhh --
Carly: Did I just lose you for a second?
Michael: I'm sorry. I was just being stupid.
Carly: No. Don't do that. It's not stupid for you to want to tell me what's going on. And I just want to help you so I can help you figure this out. And if all you're remembering is people visiting you in the hospital while you were in the coma, I don't understand how that translates into something bad.
[Michael sighs]
Carly: And now, you're just trying to keep something from me.
Michael: No, Mom, I just --
Carly: It's okay. Stop for a second. It's okay. I'm not going to push you.
[Michael scoffs]
Carly: I want you to know, there's nothing that I wouldn't do for you, and you can tell me anything.
Michael: Okay. There is something else. I know that Ian Devlin was the guy who shot me, but I think there were other people involved.

Carly: You think someone else was involved in the shooting? Did someone tell you that, or did you remember it? And is that why you're so upset?
Michael: No. I'm upset just because there's so much that I don't know.
Carly: Baby, it's a tricky situation. I mean, it's gonna take time. You have to be patient.
Michael: Well, to answer your question, I mean -- none of my memories have had anything to do with the shooting -- or at least, I don't think they have. But see, that's the problem. I really don't know.
Carly: You will. But like I said, it's gonna take time. And if it helps, you can talk to me.
Michael: Okay.
Carly: You can tell me anything. [Door closes] You know that, don't you? Hey.
Jax: Hey. Everything okay?
Carly: Yeah, we're fine. Just, um -- Michael's having a hard time with what he's remembering.

Jax: You know, Michael, I'm always here to help you, too, if you want.
Michael: Thanks. No, I will be okay. Maybe you should just stay focused on keeping Mom away from the cheesy snacks until my baby sister's born.
Carly: Oh -- heh. I have been really good. I mean, ever since that French fry incident, I have steered clear of anything deep-fried or -- with the word "cheesy" in it.
Jax: Well, soon, you can go back to eating whatever you want.
Carly: I can't wait -- not for the food, but to see this beautiful little girl. And I can't wait for her to meet her two brothers and her wonderful, wonderful, amazing father.
Jax: Thank you, honey.
Carly: Mmm. [Kiss]
Jerry: You're turning out to be a real problem, Michael. I'm sorry to say that -- It might be better for everyone if you were dead.
Carly: Michael?
Michael: It was Jax's brother Jerry.

Carly: Are you saying you remember Jerry speaking to you while you were in a coma?
Michael: He was sitting by my bedside.
Carly: Did Jerry mention anything to you about visiting Michael?
Jax: No.
Carly: What did he say?

Jax: Maybe we should talk about this another time.
Carly: I want to know what Jerry said to Michael.
Jax: Well, Michael obviously doesn't feel comfortable discussing his memory flashes.
Michael: It's okay. Uh, Mom's only gonna worry more if I keep it all to myself.
Carly: Okay, you said he came to visit you at the institute?
Michael: Uh, yeah. He said--he was talking about how much Jax loves you... cares about you.
Jerry: You're turning out to be a real problem, Michael. I'm sorry to say that it might be better for everyone if you were dead.
Michael: Uh, you know, Jerry seemed really upset that, uh, I was in a coma, and he said how hard it must have been for y and Jax.
Jerry: You may be the crime that I finally have to pay for, Michael. But I can assure you I won't pay for it alone.
Michael: Uh, and he said that he hoped I--you know, he hoped I'd recover.
Carly: Jerry said that?
Michael: Yeah. And he seemed sincere. You know, we all know that he's not a nice guy, but, Jax, you're the only person in the world he really cares about, right? And he's always been good to me, I guess because I'm your stepson. Anyhow, um, that's all I remember.
Carly: Thank you for telling me that.
Michael: Yeah. I got--I got some stuff to do. See you guys.
Carly: Something's off.
Jax: What do you mean?
Carly: Jerry visited Michael just to be nice? Does that sound like Jerry to you?

Carly: Maybe I shouldn't question Jerry's motives.
Jax: Of course you should. He's got a laundry list of crimes that he's committed. He should be in prison for the rest of his life.
Carly: Ah, well, that's true. But, hey, don't forget, he's your brother.
Jax: It doesn't excuse what he's done.
Carly: No. But he genuinely loves you, and I think, by extension, he cares a little bit about me and the boys.
Jax: Jerry cares about no one but himself. He's the most selfish person I've ever known.
Carly: Then why would he visit Michael's bedside?
Jax: I don't know.
Carly: You know what I think? I think Jerry was worried about how Michael’s coma would affect you, and then affect our life, you know?
Jax: Yeah. Maybe.
Carly: I know you don't want to hear this, but sometimes Jerry can be unexpectedly thoughtful. That's the only time he reminds me of you.
Jax: Jerry is nothing like me. He doesn't understand the meaning of loyalty.
Carly: Wow. Well, then aren't I fortunate to have married the good brother? The man who loves me better than anybody ever could.
Jax: Listen, you know that I would do anything for you, right? Anything.
Carly: Yeah. Is something wrong?

Olivia: Okay, honey, here are the paint samples that you requested.
Carly: Thanks so much for dropping them by.
Olivia: Tell me why you're all of a sudden so hands-on about painting conference rooms when you're a couple of weeks away from giving birth?
Carly: I need a distraction.
Olivia: From what?
Carly: Oh, you know, it's that mother thing where everything's racing through my head on a continual loop, just going around and around.
Olivia: Yeah, I've been there.
Carly: I think I'm freaking out. You know, every little ache and pain, I'm so afraid I'm going to go back into labor.
Olivia: Well, can I get you something? A cup of tea or something?
Carly: No. I do have to say I’m less tense with Sonny out of town.
Olivia: Well, Sonny was stressing you out?
Carly: No, but Sonny stresses Jax out, and then Jax stresses me out. So with him gone, everyone's happy.
Olivia: Well, I wouldn't worry about Jax. It's Sonny I feel sorry for, being dragged off God knows where by that psychopath wife of his.
Carly: [Chuckles] What's the latest story on Claudia? You still blaming her for your breakup with Johnny?

Olivia: Claudia hated that I was with Johnny and was making our lives a living hell.
Carly: So you've said.
Olivia: So I broke up with him because, you know, I couldn't take it anymore.
Carly: Yeah, I didn't buy that the first time you told me, and I'm not buying it now.
Olivia: There's nothing to buy, Carly. She was making me certifiable and now she's out of my hair, so...
Carly: Give me a break. We're just alike. If someone pisses you off, you're going to come out swinging. Which, by the way, I think is a great quality.
Olivia: Right back at ya.
Carly: Right. It doesn't make sense you're gonna walk away from Johnny just because Claudia doesn't approve.
Olivia: You know I'm not a quitter, Carly. But at a certain point, it's just not worth the pain, right? To me or to John.
Carly: Hmm. You know what you need to do? When Sonny gets back in town, go over there and tell him everything that going on.
Olivia: Oh, we've already been there. I went to his house. I was going to tell him everything about Claudia. He told me she was his wife and I needed to stop bad-mouthing her. Yeah.
Carly: You're joking.
Olivia: No. I'm not. So the subject of Claudia is off with Sonny. End of story.
Carly: Hmm. It's time I opened Sonny's eyes to that lunatic he married.

Michael: Hey, where's Mom?
Jax: She's out with Morgan. She's gonna be a while. I was hoping that you and I could have a conversation in private.
Michael: What's up?
Jax: Thanks for describing Jerry's visit as harmless when your mother asked.
Michael: Well, you know, I didn't want to stress her out.
Jax: That's very considerate of you.
Michael: There's only a few more weeks until the baby's born. She's gotta stay calm.
Jax: Exactly. But it would help me if you told me the truth. Can you tell me what Jerry said to you when he came to visit you at the institute?

Michael: Why does everybody want to rehash the year I was comatose? Wasn't it enough just living through it? Besides, jerry's long gone. It doesn't matter what he said. Look, if you want to talk about this, you need to tell me who you blame for my shooting.
Jax: Well, that's easy -- Sonny.

Jax: There's no way you would knowingly gamble with your brother's life the way sonny did with yours.
Michael: Look, I get that you hate my dad. You'd probably blame him for the economy if you could figure out how, but you're wrong about him. You know, if he thinks that it's dangerous for us to be someplace, he doesn't let us go.
Jax: Yeah, but he doesn't always know, does he? He's just guessing.
[Michael scoffs]
[Door opens]
Carly: Hey. I thought we could open this together. It's from your mom. Everything ok?
Jax: Yeah. I was just telling Michael who I blame for his shooting. He wanted to know, so I told him the truth.
Carly: Oh.
Michael: I assume that you blame dad, too?
Carly: Well, you know what, Michael? Um -- I was so terrified and angry those first few months, I blamed anyone I passed in the street, but no one more than myself. But we got you back, and you're healthy, and you're handsome, and you're trying to get your life together, and that's wonderful. It's so great. And I don't want to miss out on all that joy because of something we can't change. And besides, if you want to know who I blame for your shooting, it's the bastard who pulled the trigger, and he's already dead.

Carly: I know it's late, Marty, but I put together a few packages for the spa and I thought I could run them past you. You have a pen? Mm-hmm.
Jax: I don't know why I expected you to be upstairs asleep.
Carly: I have to call you back.
Jax: You're supposed to be taking it easy.
Carly: I couldn't sleep. I'm not gonna sit around and do nothing. I'm on the dreaded couch, so you should be happy.
Jax: It's just a few more weeks, Carly.
Carly: I know. Look, have faith in me. I carried our little girl this long. I'm not gonna do something stupid this late in the game.
Jax: Okay, remember the hospital, what you said? You said that you were gonna take it easy. You --
Carly: Hold on. Hey, Marty. Yeah. Sonny?
Sonny: Why are you up so late?
Carly: Why are you calling me? And where are you, anyway?
Sonny: I'm on my way home.
Carly: What's up with you going out of town and not telling me? Where'd you go?
Sonny: I'll talk to you about that later.
Carly: What kind of arrangements?
Sonny: Uh, I need the Metro Court restaurant on the 29th.
Carly: The 29th? Like three days from now?
Sonny: That's right.
Carly: What's the occasion?
Sonny: I'm throwing my wife a birthday celebration.
Carly: You're throwing that witch a birthday party?

Carly: Yeah, I want to up the rental fee by 20% because Sonny gave us such short notice. Mm-hmm. And I want to charge him $50 -- no, make that $100 for every reservation we have to cancel. Go with the most expensive wine and liquor. And we're going to have to hire a complete wait staff, so just go ahead and add 20% gratuity, although Sonny tips really well. Yeah. I'll call the florist first thing in the morning. Oh, make sure you get some more insurance. You know, when Sonny throws a party, anything can happen. Absolutely you tack that insurance onto his bill. Thanks, Marty. Sounds great. Oh, look, if there's any other questions you have, just go high-end. Yeah. Sonny can afford it. Okay. Bye. What?
Jax: What are you doing?
Carly: Sonny likes to impress people. We need money. Everybody's happy.
Jax: Really? Are you sure that's all it is?
Carly: Well, except for the part where I'm gonna stick it to my ex for every dime that I can because he wants to throw a stupid party for his insane wife, and maybe if the bill's high enough, at some point he's gonna look across the room of flowers and overpriced food and wine and think maybe Claudia isn't worth it!
Jax: Has it ever occurred to you that Sonny and Claudia are staying together because they're alike and they actually deserve each other?

Jax: Now, you tend to give Sonny the benefit of the doubt. Or you somehow think that he's been manipulated into this marriage with Claudia, but Sonny's a big boy. He makes his own choices. Just keep that in mind, okay?
Carly: I know that. And I know there's no way I can make Sonny see Claudia for who she really is. He'll have to figure that out on his own.
Jax: Okay. I'm gonna -- I'm gonna turn this project over to Olivia first thing in the morning.
Carly: Oh, no, you're not. Oh, no. If Sonny wants a party, I'm going to give him the party of his dreams. I'm gonna make sure everything's perfect.

Carly: We are gonna make so much money off Sonny's party for Claudia. And I'm gonna be there to personally make sure everything's --
Jax: No. No, no. You aren't going.
Carly: What do you mean, I'm not going?
Jax: I don't want you anywhere near that party or Claudia, for that matter, until after the baby is born.
Carly: Why don't you want me near Claudia? What's going on? We're not supposed to be keeping secrets, remember?

Jax: I'm sorry. The last thing I want to do is upset you.
Carly: Then tell me what's going on.
Jax: Look. This party has nothing to do with us. I don't see why you have to be involved.
Carly: I don't want to have another fight about Sonny. Come on.
Jax: Yeah, but we're not having a fight about Sonny. I just want you -- you're supposed to be taking it easy, n? And I'm sure that Sonny would prefer that you didn't show up at the party as well.
Carly: Well, the idea of making Sonny pay and pay some more and then pay a little more for stupidly honoring that trashy **Do not open** he married, I don't know. It's enjoyable. I would even go as far as to say that it's relaxing.
Jax: Really?
Carly: Yes.
Jax: Tormenting your ex relaxes you?
Carly: I'm not tormenting him, no. I look at it like I'm helping Sonny. I mean, if he sees Claudia for who she really is, and he realizes that, you know, she's not worth all the money he's going to spend, maybe he'll dump her.
Jax: All right. We've already had one round of premature labor, okay? Why push it, Carly?
Carly: Hey. Are you gonna tell me what's really going on? Because I know this can't possibly be about Sonny's party for Claudia.
Jax: Okay. I just -- I don't want the Metro Court to be known as a mob hangout. Okay?
Carly: [Chuckling] It's not a mob summit. It's a birthday party. People are gonna wear hats.
Jax: Yeah.
[Knock on door]
Jax: Excuse me.
[Carly sighs]
[Door opens]
Olivia: Hey, how are you doing? I got your text. What's up?
Carly: You texted Olivia? Why?
Jax: Sonny's hosting a party at the Metro Court restaurant for Claudia's birthday. I'm letting you take over the entire project.
Olivia: What?! He's throwing a birthday party for that witch?
Carly: That's exactly what I said, almost word for word. Can you believe it?
Jax: Okay, okay, okay. You know what? Could you handle it, please? Because I don't want Carly anywhere near the Metro Court on Thursday night.

Sonny: Is Carly all right? That's all I want to know.
Jax: No thanks to you and this ridiculous party you decided to throw tonight.
Sonny: Well, you know what, Jax? Most of the guests are business associates and friends, so if you want to come by and give the birthday girl a kiss on the cheek, you're very welcome to do that.
Jax: I got a better idea.
Sonny: Yeah, what's that?
Jax: Cancel it.
Sonny: Why would I do that?
Jax: Do you ever see beyond your own ego? I mean, come on. Carly's in her last trimester, okay? Wait till after the baby's born, then you can throw all the parties you want and I'll make sure that the hotel gives you a special discount.
Sonny: So somehow, in your warped mind, Jax, this party is bad for Carly?
Jax: You called her to organize this, Sonny. Okay? She took it upon herself to do all the planning when she should be resting.
Sonny: If you can't control your own wife, that's your problem.
Jax: I'm not gonna let you jeopardize her health, you understand?
Sonny: She's not stressed out. She finds this whole thing entertaining. And by the way, I'm not getting the family and friends rate. She's charging me through the roof. And I'm letting her.
Jax: You think I care about the money? I care about Carly's life and our little girl's. And if anything happens to them because of your selfishness or your psychotic wife, I will do what I should have done years ago.
Sonny: Yeah. What are you gonna do?
Jax: I'll kill you myself.
[Door slams]
[Sonny sighs]

Carly: Okay. Give me a few minutes to get ready for Claudia's birthday bash.
Lulu: You're sure you should go, though?
Carly: I planned the thing. And as long as Sonny's paying for it, I'm going to go have fun.
Lulu: Well, your baby's a few weeks away from making her grand entrance.
Carly: So I need to take this chance to party while I can. And besides, outside of Sonny, I don't think anyone invited even likes Claudia.

Lulu: Oh! You look great!
Carly: I look like an entry in the Rose Parade.
Lulu: No. I'm really appreciative of you coming with me to this party.
Carly: You want a second opinion on Dominic? I am more than happy to oblige.
Lulu: You're the one who wants to go to the party, but I would appreciate your take on Dominic.
Carly: I have a take on Dominic. He's a nice guy. He is. But he works for Sonny. Oh. So, why do you think he works for Sonny?
Lulu: I don't -- think that he really wants to. I don't know. I just -- I think there's a piece of the puzzle that's just missing about this.
Carly: Like that stuff you don't remember from last night?
Lulu: I know I heard something important. I just can't remember what it is.
Carly: Maybe it will come back to you.
Lulu: Well, yeah. I mean, Maxie might be able to help. She actually just texted me and said she's coming.
Carly: Good, 'cause I don't think I can go.
Lulu: Really? Is this, like, an early labor thing?
Carly: No. No. As much as I want to go and snoop -- and I really, really, really want to go and snoop -- I just -- I have a condition. It is life-threatening for me and the baby. So I guess I have to be responsible and stay home.
Lulu: Well, do you want me to stay with you?
Carly: No. Go. Go. I'm fine. Fine.
Lulu: No. I honestly -- I would be happy to just hang out here and, like, watch TV or whatever you want to do --
Carly: And avoid spending time with Dominic?
Lulu: I just want to make sure that you're okay.
Carly: I'm fine. I am. Mercedes is here. The boys will be home soon. And maybe I can talk them into a quiet game of Tiddlywinks. I don't know.
Lulu: Ooh. Yeah. Okay. I'm definitely bad at Tiddlywinks. So I'm going to go. But I will give you so many updates when it's all over.
Carly: Oh, please do.
Lulu: I'm going to go change.
Carly: Okay.
Lulu: Bye.
Carly: Have fun!
Lulu: Okay.
[Carly sighs]
Carly: Well, I know that you wanted to go to the party as much as I did, but I have to do the right thing. So we're going to stay home, and we're going to have a nice quiet evening with your brothers. We can do that, right?

Jax: All right. Listen up. I want you to really slow down with the refills 'cause most of these people have a reputation for violence. So we don't want to get them drunk on top of that. They might start shooting each other before we get to the main course, and we don't want that. Okay? That will be all.
[Jax sighs]
Dominic: Well, on behalf of Mr. Corinthos, I'd like to thank you for throwing this elegant birthday part in honor of his wife.
Jax: All right. Cut the crap. You don't have to thank me. I just want Sonny behind bars, okay? That's what you're doing here tonight -- working undercover, right, Detective Falconeri?
Dominic: This isn't exactly the best time to mention it.
Jax: Just work your case against Sonny, okay?
Dominic: I'm working on it.
Jax: Are you? 'Cause it seems to me that you're getting a little bit too comfortable in your role as family friend.
Dominic: You know what? Well, Sonny's a tough target. But you already knew that, right? Otherwise, you would have found a way to lock him up years ago.
Alexis: That looked tense.
Jax: Yeah, well, I've been snapping at everyone all night, so --
Alexis: Okay. Please don't snap at me if I ask you why.
Jax: Despite Carly going into false labor a week ago, she wanted to come tonight. So I'm hoping that I talked her out of it.
Alexis: Oh, knowing Carly, I bet that won't work. I'm sorry. Don't snap. Thank you.
Jax: Well, I'm here to supervise this farce because I own the hotel. So what's your excuse?

Carly: Hello?
Dominic: Hey, it's Dominic. I'm here at the hotel. Not to alarm you, but I just saw Michael.
Carly: At the party? Why?
Dominic: I talked to him earlier. He said he has something he needs to tell his dad.
Carly: About what?
Dominic: Claudia. I don't know. You want me to tell Jax?
[Carly sighs]
Carly: No, no. Michael's not going to take advice about his father from Jax. [Sighs] All right. Well, I'm going to come over now and get him.
Dominic: Okay. I'll try to keep an eye on him.

Alexis: So, this is the price of co-parenting -- showing up at a party of a woman that you loathe. But you do it for the sake of your child.
Jax: Well, you could have called and sent your regrets.
Alexis: No, because Kristina really, really wanted to be here, and I really, really didn't want her to. So I'm making an appearance instead.
Jax: Just taking one for the team, right?
Alexis: That's what we do. And I'm so glad I have my empathetic friend here who hates being here as much as I do. Certainly not fun and games for you, is it?
Jax: Can't wait for this to be over.
Alexis: I have this sense -- I don't know. Maybe it's just my normal paranoia of being in a public place with Sonny -- but I get this feeling that something really, really bad is going to happen.

[Claudia laughs]
All: Happy birthday to you happy birthday to you happy birthday, dear Claudia happy bir --
[Singing fades]
Sonny: Jax. She did -- Carly -- a great job decorating this place.
Jax: Great job.
Sonny: Can you thank her for me?
Jax: Oh, absolutely. Will do. You know, money buys almost anything these days, doesn't it, Sonny?

[Carly sighs]
Marty: Carly.
Carly: Hey, Marty.
Marty: Where you going?
Carly: Upstairs. Michael crashed the party. I'll go grab him, take him home. Excuse me.
Marty: I have strict orders from Mr. Jacks not to let you upstairs.

Jax: Jason looks a little more intense than usual tonight.
Sam: Yeah. Well, he's not exactly Claudia's biggest fan.
Jax: Look, I don't want trouble, okay? I went along with this party because Carly insisted. But if you know something's going on, you let me know.
Sam: No. Nothing's going to go on tonight, not that I'm aware of.
Jax: Well, you let me know if you hear otherwise.

Carly: Marty, look. I'm worried about Michael. He's had a hard time lately. The last place he needs to be is at a party for Claudia. I'm going to go grab him and take him home.
Marty: Mr. Jacks was very emphatic.
Carly: That's because Jax loves me and he's looking out for me, and he's right. Look, I've had a few scares with this pregnancy, but I'm not going to let anything happen. I'm not going to risk it, okay?
Marty: I suppose if you're just going to pick up Michael --
Carly: I am. I'm not going to stay. Isn't it time for you to go home? Go, go. I'll be fine. Come on.
Marty: Okay. Uh, Carly? Take care.
Carly: Thanks.

Carly: Nope. Impatient pregnant woman. I'm in a hurry. Sorry.

Sonny: What can I say? You changed my life. You left a permanent mark on me and my children. You showed me the value of trust and honor and how worthless any promise... or anybody is without that. You're--you're everything that everybody warned me that I'd, uh...get in the end. You tried to kill me... and you shot my son instead, you faithless bitch.
Claudia: What are you talking about? That's not true. That is not true. Everybody, that--where is this coming from? From Jason? Sonny, he hates me. That is not true. I need a minute to talk with my husband.
Sonny: No, no, no. No, no! I apologize to everybody here... for, you know, thinking you're coming to a celebration. I--I-- I apologize for putting up with her lies, and I apologize for any pain and damage that she has inflicted on anyone. It ends tonight! I should have trusted my instincts! I didn't go with my gut. But I assure you... Claudia has lied to us all for the last time.
Sonny: Now that I know the truth, I know that there are other people involved in what happened to my son, trying to cover up the truth. Believe me, they will be dealt with.
Olivia: That's enough, Sonny. This is not the way to do this.
Sonny: I'm not finished! I married Claudia because of a business decision. I let my greed and ambition call the shots. I let her convince me to stay in the marriage, to stay in the life, like nothing ever happened. And the whole time, she knew she was responsible for putting my son in a coma. No guilt, no remorse. For your own gain, you left my son... to die on the floor! Stepped over his body.
Johnny: Okay, you are wrong, Sonny. That is not how it happened. It was me. All right? I called out the hit. I got your son shot.
Sonny: Oh, now you're loyal to Claudia? You're lying, Johnny.
Johnny: Claudia had nothing to do with this, Sonny. Nothing whatsoever.
Sonny: I would be happy to get rid of you, but I heard the evidence. She picked the time, she picked the place, she hired Ian Devlin and Jerry Jacks. Yes. Jerry Jacks. The brother of the man who married Carly. Go ahead, Jax! Tell everybody how long you knew this news. That your brother got your stepson shot!
Claudia: Sonny, stop.
Sonny: You covered it. Tell everybody how long you covered for that psychotic--
Claudia: Stop! Just stop, okay? Whatever you think, whatever lies you believe, I never intentionally hurt Michael. I would never do that. And however this marriage started out, it was real. We belong together. We made a child together. And for the sake of that child--
Sonny: Shut up! Thank God... for that car accident. Thank God that--that poor baby was never born to live in our lives. You got pregnant to cover your ass as an insurance plan. Thank God you'll never bear my child.
Claudia: Our baby's death was a blessing? You sick, self-righteous son of a bitch. Go ahead, say whatever you want about me, whatever your little robot hitman tells you. Everybody in this room knows you let your kids run wild, you let your kids get shot at, and it's your damn fault that your son was in that warehouse in the first place!
Sonny: Shut up, you lying-- shut up, you lying whore! Don't you even mention my son after what you did to him! You psychotic piece of trash! Take her!
Claudia: No. You get back! Get back! I will shoot you! You, get over here, now! I will shoot you. Get over here! Come after me and I will kill her.
Tracy: My God, put the gun down, you idiot!
Floyd: Morgan, put the gun down!
Johnny: Claudia, please, don't do this. Let her go.
Claudia: John, I love you, but you need to stay back.
Sonny: Hey, grab Johnny! If she doesn't turn Carly loose, shoot him!
Jax: Okay, everyone stay calm. Stay calm. Everything's gonna be okay.
Claudia: Get back, or I swear to God I will kill her right now. Put the gun down!
Carly: Jason, take the shot.
Claudia: Do it, go ahead.
Carly: Oh, God! Oh, God.
Jax: Claudia, she's going into labor. You gotta let her go! Claudia! Claudia, no! No!
Carly: Ohh...[Breathing hard]
Claudia: When the doors open, you're gonna do exactly what I say or I will put a bullet in your head. Do you hear me? Keep it up, Carly! We'll see if you make it.
Carly: Oh, God. I'm in labor, you idiot! I'm getting ready to have this baby and I can't be anyone's hostage.
Claudia: You don't have a choice. Okay? You don't have a choice. If you want your baby to live and you want to live, then you're gonna do what I say.
Carly: Ohh!
Jason: No, Sonny, Sonny. You gotta let him go. I need him to talk to his sister. You gotta let him go. We don't have time, Sonny.
Sonny: Let him go. Go.
Jax: Carly's life is on the line because of you, you arrogant son of a bitch.
Sonny: I don't want to talk to you.
Olivia: Dial 99 for security.
Jax: Yeah. Voicemail.
Robin: I cannot believe what just happened. Claudia is out of her mind.
Olivia: I can't even imagine what Carly must be going through right now. Oh, I'm going to see if Dom--Mr. Pirelli needs any help.

Sonny: How could you do it to Carly? Lie like that, cover it up? Where's your loyalty?
Jax: I don't have to explain myself to you. I have my reasons. You better start praying nothing happens to her.
Sonny: I got nothing to say to you.
Jax: If something happens to Carly and the baby...

Carly: Ohh! Claudia, I can't walk.
Claudia: Shh!
Carly: Quick, call 911!
Claudia: Take another step and I'll kill her.
Carly: Call 911!
Claudia: Shut up! I mean it.
Carly: Ohh...
Claudia: Let's go, let's go. Open the door! Get in! Come on, Carly, move it. Get in!

Jax: Did my wife and Claudia come through here?
Desk clerk: They're gone.
Jax: Did Claudia say anything at all?
Desk clerk: She said she'd shoot your wife if any of us moved. And then she dragged her out the door. I'm so sorry.
Jason: They couldn't get away on foot. Carly's in labor. They had to take a car.
Johnny: Claudia could have carjacked somebody. Have there been any cars out there in the last few minutes?
Valet: Sorry to interrupt, Mr. Jax. Uh, this is Mr. Swenson. I just pulled his car around from the driveway a few minutes ago and one of the guys might have moved it.
Jax: Did you leave the keys in the car?
Valet: Uh, yeah, I left it running--
Jason: Okay, listen, a pregnant woman was kidnapped in that car, so we need to know the make, the model, the license plate, anything else you can give us to help track that car down.
Mr. Swenson: Oh, man, it was a rental. I just picked it up this afternoon. The rental agreement's still in the glove box.
Valet: It was either dark blue or black. I'm pretty sure on dark blue, and it was a 4-door.
Mr. Swenson: I'm really sorry, you guys. I can't even tell you what kind of car it was.

Carly: You got away, Claudia, and you bought yourself some time. So use it to think. Just because Sonny has enough evidence doesn't mean the police will have enough evidence against you.
Claudia: Just shut up. What are you, my lawyer now?
Carly: Oh, come on, don't be stupid, just think. All right, Sonny and Jason can't kill you, not after Sonny just announced to half of port Charles what you did. Look, they're all witnesses. They'll be able to testify against Sonny if anything happens to you. He just guaranteed your survival.
Claudia: Jason isn't gonna stop until there's a bullet in my head and you know it.
Carly: No, that's not true. Jason can't do anything, because Sonny, he threatened you publicly, okay, I mean, it's just--it's this whole taking me hostage thing that's messing everything up. Just take me to a hospital so I can deliver my baby safely. It could be your only chance to save your own life.

Dominic: Everybody--uh-- [Whistles] Sorry to interrupt. Could I just have everyone's attention, please, for a minute? Uh, come on, we all gotta stay put. I know this has been an upsetting night, but the police are on their way and they want to take statements from everybody. So, I suggest we all just grab a seat, think about what it is we saw tonight, and don't exchange stories.
Luke: Well, who died and made you chief of police, kid?
[Door opens]
Mac: Anyone want to tell me how this cocktail party turned into another hostage crisis?
Jax: I'll tell you what happened. Sonny decided to use tonight's birthday party to let everybody know that Claudia was responsible for getting Michael shot. She panicked, she took my wife hostage. She went into premature labor because of that. She got her in the elevator, across the lobby, and apparently a valet told us that she stole a--a 4-door sedan, a dark color, we don't know the make or model.
Mac: All right, we'll get an APB out on the car right away. Listen, I want roadblocks on all major roads heading out of town. The storm's hitting pretty hard right now. There'll be some road closures, so--
Jax: I don't care about any of that stuff, Mac! My wife is in labor. We have to find her now.

Carly: Come on, Claudia, it's not a hopeless situation yet. I know you don't want my baby to die. [Car speeding up] What the hell are you doing?
Claudia: You talk a good game, you know that? You almost convinced me. Come on, Carly, we both know I'm a dead woman. The only shot I've got is getting away. So that makes you my hostage, at least for now, until I get somewhere safe.
Carly: Oh, come on, you're not gonna escape. Get real, Claudia.
Claudia: I didn't ask for this.
Carly: Ohh...
Claudia: I didn't ask for any of this. All I wanted to do was be a good wife to Sonny. And I thought that that was finally, finally gonna happen after all of the pain and all of loss that--I lost my baby. Do you remember that, Carly? In case you forgot.
Carly: I know. I know you did. And I know it was such a terrible thing for you. I know you don't want to be responsible for another baby's death.
Claudia: I don't even care. I don't...even care anymore. Jason ruined everything, and Sonny, too, by believing him.
Carly: Ohh...
Claudia: If the only way I can hurt them is by taking you, then so be it.
Carly: Ohh, God! Ohh...

Kelly: Jax. Have they found Carly yet?
Jax: No. The police are still searching. Listen, she went into labor about half an hour ago, and I think her water broke. How long do you think it will be before the baby comes?
Kelly: There's honestly no way to predict. That's why Carly and I were...
Jax: What? That's why Carly and you were what? Tell me.
Kelly: Jax, I don't want you to worry any more than you already are, especially when there's nothing we can do, okay? But Carly came in to see me a few days ago. We discussed scheduling a C-section to prevent the heightened chance of her having a stroke during her delivery. With her ZBT and the risk of her blood pressure spiking--
Jax: Are you telling me that if she gives birth naturally, she could die?

Carly: Ohh!
Claudia: Sonny was gonna have my brother killed. There was no doubt about it. He basically left me no choice. I had to act first.
Carly: Oh, God, does that justify shooting my son?
Claudia: Sonny would have done the same thing to me. But I was just...I was just trying to protect my brother. I mean, he's all the family I have. Sonny kidnapped Johnny, locked him up in a padded cell, had his guys beat the crap out of him. Then he told Johnny he was gonna kill him. And then he was gonna kill me. I just did what I had to do to protect us.
Carly: Yeah, you just hired Ian Devlin and Jerry Jacks to take out Sonny. That's great, Claudia.
Claudia: Sonny would have done the exact same thing, Carly, and you know it. You were married to the guy. But I had no idea that Michael was gonna be there in that warehouse. I had no way of knowing that Ian was crazy enough to take a shot with a child...there. But I felt...guilty, so incredibly guilty about what happened to your son for so long. But I wasn't the only one to blame. Sonny's done the same exact thing hundreds of times, and you know it. And if he'd left me any other choice, if he'd left me any other way out, I would have taken it tonight. I would have. But he didn't. And once again, he basically left me no other choice.

Kelly: I'm so sorry, Jax, but there's simply no way to predict Carly's chances of delivering the baby safely on her own. But she's been able to handle all the risks up to this point. That's a very good sign.
Jax: All I can do is believe in Carly. She loves her children more than anything.

Carly: Ohh! Oh...
Claudia: How long has it been since your last contraction?
Carly: Like you give a damn.
Claudia: Look, everything would have been different if my child had survived. You know Sonny wouldn't have come after the mother of one of his kids.
Carly: Yeah, you were banking on it. That's why you got pregnant in the first place.
Claudia: Carly, my son... my baby, my little--my little tiny baby died because of Kristina, and I thought that Sonny understood that. I thought that he shared my pain.
Carly: Oh, God. Oh, yeah. Yeah, well, maybe Sonny couldn't hold on to the guilt when he knew you were responsible for getting Michael shot. You know, maybe he just couldn't stop thinking about his son lying on that warehouse floor bleeding with a bullet in his head and then lying still in a hospital bed for a year.
Claudia: I told you that I didn't mean for Michael to get hurt.
Carly: I don't give a damn! I don't give a damn. You can justify it all you want, Claudia. But you did it, and you're responsible for it, and I hope to God you burn in hell for it. Ohh...
Claudia: You know what? I actually thought that you might be the one person in the world who would understand. I actually thought that. Let me ask you a question, Carly. How would you feel if that little tiny baby inside of you, the one that you love so very much, was taken from you?

Mac: If you try to leave this building I'm gonna place you under arrest.
Jax: Do you have a lead? Is that why you're in a hurry to leave?
Jason: No, I don't have a lead. I just want to go out there and look for Carly myself. I don't understand the problem!
Mac: You're not going anywhere, do you understand? The police are handling the search. I'm not gonna let you go out there to do your thing. I won't have Claudia wind up dead.
Jax: Mac, we need everyone out there searching! Now, this isn't the time to take a moral stand. My wife and child are out there with a crazy person. I mean, do you understand that? Jason knows how to find people. Who cares what happens to Claudia?
Mac: Jax, Jax, you need to calm down.
Jax: I'm not gonna calm down! I'm not gonna let my wife and baby die just because Michael got shot!

Carly: What the hell's that supposed to mean, how would I like it if my little girl was taken away?
Claudia: Shh.
Carly: Is that what you plan on doing? You're gonna wait for this baby to be born and you're gonna take her from me?
Claudia: I'm gonna do whatever I gotta do to survive, so why don't you keep your big fat mouth shut, and that'll give you and your baby both the best chance of survival, huh? We all know what a great mother you are, Carly. Hey, what are you doing?! You're gonna kill us! Stop! No, get off! You're gonna ki--
[Horn honking, brakes squealing]
Claudia: Come on, let go! You're gonna kill us--
Carly: You won't get my baby!
Claudia: What are you doing? Let go, Carly! Aah! What are you doing?!

Jax: I'm sorry, Michael. I did not mean that the way it came out, okay? I'm worried about your mother, that's all.
Mac: I don't have the time or the manpower to deal with you right now, Jason. Take Morgan downtown.
Sam: Wait a minute. Are you crazy? He didn't do anything wrong.
Jax: Mac, let him go! Let him go and try to find Carly.
Mac: I'm not gonna let him do that. I'm not gonna let Jason go out there to hunt Claudia down. We all know how that story will end, and there's already been enough violence.
Michael: It's Claudia's fault. She took my mom. She deserves what she gets.
Mac: You spent a year in a coma because Claudia tried to shoot your dad, the same way Jason's trying to shoot Claudia tonight. All right? It has to stop somewhere, and it's stopping right here, right now. Jason, you're under arrest.
Sam: You can't arrest him. He didn't do anything wrong.
Mac: I have a roomful of witnesses who saw Jason pull a gun upstairs earlier tonight, endangering everyone in the restaurant, including all of you. I can and will hold you for at least 48 hours.
Jax: Damn it, Mac. Carly's life is at stake and you're wasting time trumping up charges against Jason? What the hell are you doing? We need to find Carly and the baby before Claudia kills them.
