Hey Great work Ben ! Your training is looking good . Dont worry about the last few meets youll be hiting 700+ this next year .

For those that dont know Ben this guy weighs in at about 198 and Is thick . His raw bench is well over 400 .So he has unreal strength . He is somewhat new to shirt work so once he get s that part of the game down I have no doubt at all he will be one of the bigest benchers in the 198 class .When I say 700 +this next year I mean it .

Keep it up Ben you got what it takes !

First Ben your training is awsome .You and your boys got it going on .

On your forarm bro I would skip the next DE bench work and just pick back up on Me day for bench . And when You pick back up work up to a max on a 4 brd in your shirt then start the next week on your normal workouts.

Despite Ben's forearm being sore right now, he is pushing the weight like it's an empty bar. Perfect form tonight Ben. Jason's right, we should skip our next DE day and heal up a bit. Again, great work tonight bro.

Later,

Kev

Thanks for the help guys and for the support Kev. Talk about a great partner. Its really nice to be pushed in the gym. But I dont know about takeing time off. I hate that. Maybe I can just focus on forearm work and get it stronger? That is always my answer... Nice work last night Kev.

One word.......................AWSOME !!!

Ben your working your shirt good bro . It looks like your getting all the support .

One thing you may want to try is trowing the weight back twards the handoff guy (Kevin) vs throwing straight up . I know Louie simmons says to press in a straight line but most of the bench only guys who hit 800 and above will throw that crap back to the rack . The first move should be straight back .

Try it a few times and see how it goes . Other than that you have come along way fast . It seams everytime I see a new video you have fixed the problems from the last video . Awsome work

Ben, lay off the deads. Do two weeks of superheavy hyperextensions (3rm)to get the bar off your back. At the same time it will train those pulling muscles.

OK Look out. Everybody sit down.... We actually did a good Squat day. The big goal will be to get this in once a week next year. Felt really good. Kevin didnt even bring a belt so all his stuff is compleatly raw. I had a belt but no wraps or suits.

We figured the bands were no tension at the top and about 120 at the seat? If any one know please let us know.

Every Set is supersetted with the excersise following So during the first three sets of Squats we did forearms for 3 sets then the next three sets of squats we did T bar rows for 3 sets and etc...

Squats 2 foot positions
bar x 30, 135 x 20
135 + green positive tension bands x 10
185 + green positive tension bands x 8
2 second pause all following sets
225 + green positive tension bands x 3
405 + green negative tension bands x 3
Ben put belt on.
495 + green negative tension bands x 3
545 + green negative tension bands x 1
585 + green negative tension bands x 1 (Ben Miss, Kevin nailed it.)

3 x forearm machine @ 130

Tbar rows 135 x 10, 180 x 8, 225 x 6 x 2

Leg extensions 225 x 10 x 3

Lat pull down 160 x 10 x 4

Seated Calf Rasies 225 x 10 x 4
